We each ordered the Breakfast Hot Browns, one with pork and hash browns, the other with country ham and home fries. WOW. So good. It did make me chuckle when my bowl with home fries came out and they were full on slices of potato. I was certainly not complaining as I love potatoes. Our server, Rubi, was very sweet! She was able to answer all our questions regarding the menu. We got to chatting with her more and even though she isn't originally from the area, she recommended some great spots we check out which was so fun. I love that this place stands for equality and love for all so I was a little taken aback by the negative vibes. It's possible it was a bad day and this team member was done, but I wish they had maybe taken a few minutes to catch their breath and let the other two team members hold things down for a bit. It's been exactly one year since we last visited that old location, which has since closed. Though I have many years of memories tied to that one, I'm glad to see that business didn't close entirely. That was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is very casual and welcoming. We both wanted some coffee and have never been to the chocolate holler so we came here. I had the white blossom drink and my husband had the sleeping bear. Both of our drinks were pretty good. Wish more espresso was given without extra charge but that seems like most places these days. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were tasty. Would definitely come back here when craving unique chocolatey treats.

We shared a slice of Martine's Pastry double chocolate cake and wow, it was divine, so rich, fudgy, and absolutely worth the indulgence. The variety of coffee choices was seriously next level! We shared a cup of their decaf espresso and it was smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a spot we'll be revisiting. The drinks menu is just as extensive, but I ended up trying the Peeps latte that was on special. It was toasted marshmallow syrup with lavender whip, but I didn't want it too sugary, so I ordered it half sweet. Street parking can be a bit hard, but since it's so close to Woodland, you might have some good luck!
