Besides the fact that I hate myself for going, because it's McDonald's, this location isn't bad, but not great. Like any fast food joint, you gotta check your order, but honestly, this is one of the more accurate establishments in the area. Any time of day we've gone, the staff is very pleasant. I've only lg been asked to pull up to wait for food maybe 2-3 times in the past 8 years, so I think that's good. The inside is typically clean, the few times we've ever gone inside. Several times when we've ordered sweet tea late at night, it was garbage. Currently there is a Red Box here as well, which is sometimes full and unable to accept returns. My family here today to celebrate kids birthday. So they have " Happy Birthday" Deal on app, we try to use it, and it keeps showing not working. I trying to ask for help, one lady told me to wait for 15 minutes and try again. So after 15 minutes I try to use different deal, and it had same issue. And I told the employee about it. He was like I trying to get free food, and told me I only can get one free food. How bad of the customer service!! I tried to use the deal they offer on McDonald's app, and when it not working there should be someone in the store can fix this issue for their customer, not just rude to the customer and walking away. Horrible work environment. All the managers are completely incompetent and rude to both employees and customers. They frequently criticize workers for the smallest details while also not doing their own jobs. Employee onboarding took weeks because they did not provide the necessary uniform and training. Legally mandated breaks are often ignored, with employees sometimes having to beg to take a short break after several hours. Food safety is also questionable, as I have seen food dropped on the floor and still get served. Kitchen stations are also never cleaned by the night shift workers, leaving soda machines sitting in old syrup and grills covered in caked-on grease. I go there every day and have never had a bad experience. The morning manager is so kind and patient. The crew is friendly and fast. If there's a hold up in the drive through it's because of the customers. My longest wait was caused by Grandpa ranting about some nonsense. read more

I drive for Doordash and have decided to only come here for those orders, never my own. Even then I steer clear often times because the wait is SO long regardless of how busy. Truly the worst part is the uncomfortable feeling of standing among 3-4 strangers, sometimes more, as they all slowly grow impatient and regretful at patronizing this McDonalds. Dear Management, The reason I'm taking this time to write this review is because this hasn't happened just once. It has happen multiple times, to the point that this McDonald's has lost a costumer. (You might care or you might not) Multiple times has this McDonald's given me the wrong order or forgot my items. Employees want to get paid for 15 dollars an hour in your store but can't follow a simple request. I am not talking about an edited order, "no pickles", I am talking about a normal burger. How can you forget to put it in. Another issue that I have encountered here is the language barrier situation. This is THE WORST!!!! McDonalds EVER!!! The service is horrible, very very slow. My order is NEVER and I mean NEVER RIGHT. Always something missing. When I go to correct it with an employee I get looked at sideways like I'm lying . I saw an elderly man take his coffee back up to the counter, it obviously wasn't right and he stood so long before anyone came to help him. The dining area is dirty. I went in for a job interview and was reached out to multiple times before and the day of the interview. They kept me waiting for 35 MINUTES when I had put in the effort to arrive on time. I was about to get up and just leave when the manager comes over and says the interview was canceled and that they had enough employees. Not very professional. this McDonald's is the worst. the drive through lines are always long. the customer service is rude. repeatedly, bc it's the only choice for a McDonald's close by they are out of things like soda-wow. the app does t work, they leave you in the drive through line so long that the codes expire. terrible bc you only get one code per day on the specials, and forget it if you arrive at 10:15am and want breakfast you won't get it. The new McDonalds looks amazing however, when you pull up the trash cans are over flowing. People throw trash all over the parking lot and next to the full trash can. The manager took our order and was fairly nice. The young woman who put our order on the counter never spoke to us. She gave us sweet tea instead of unsweet. When we asked for unsweet she huffed under her breath and still never spoke a word. she gave us our ice cream sunday with no spoon. There were plenty of staff on hand and the wait wasn't long at all. The decor is definitely renovated and more upscale than other McDonald's. I enjoyed looking at their historic photographs in the right front of the place by the bathrooms. Supposedly the location is where the first school in Carroll County was, something like that. This is by far one of the best McDonalds I have ever visited. The staff seem generally happy to be there, several times over the years employees were happily embracing whatever promotion or community event at the restaurant. Even though this is a very busy location, the establishment is clean and food is delivered fast and fresh. It is hard to believe they are using the same product as all other McDonalds - for example, fries are actually crisp and hot (not cold, limp, and overly greasy). If you are going to eat badly, at least this is a tasty version of your McD's favorites. read more
