There frappes are terrible... everytime I go there the coffee is either bitter because it was left on to long or stale. One time the messed up my husband's frappe again and they have us a free one and if got mixed up with the yogurt machine we took a sip and it was spoiled yogurt... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not a single worker stood at the counter to take orders. There were at least 5 workers that were standing there shoving their faces w donuts instead, ordering people to place their orders at the kiosk. Since we had a coupon, we wanted to order at the counter. However, they still denied helping. Not only was the customer service god awful but the bathrooms were horrendous. I walked in for not even 10 seconds before I had to walk out because it was so dirty and smelly. Highly recommend going to a different McDonald's. Someone inside suggested we go to Dunkin' Donuts across the street instead so here we are. read more

So, we went to the "brand new", remodeled Mcd's for breakfast and it's still as disorganized if not more than the previous one, even with two drive through lanes and more parking. We came inside and ordered from the touch screen kiosk. The payment process was broken so we couldn't make payment on their machine, and still had to wait in line to finish our order. The staff were not very friendly, but I don't blame them as they looked overworked and tired of the non stop rush of customers. I will say that the food did not take more than a 5 minute wait for a couple breakfast sandwiches and hasbrowns, which was good for us (but not for the others huffing and puffing and stomping their feet...you could tell some have been there a while waiting for their orders). The management seemed to be hustling hard to pick up the slack of some of the team/employees. The management seemed to have everything under control even though it was so extremely hectic. If you have plenty of time on your hands this would be fine, just sit and relax in the new seats as you wait for your order, or if the drive through is empty then go for it. :-) The food is always made fresh to order from what I've experienced and tastes how it should. read more

This location is on another level. I visited this place earlier tonight and they told me they couldn't sell me a happy meal but they could sell me everything that comes in one separately. When I got to the window I told the cashier that it was wrong because there making people spend more than they should. yall look like you're working hard in the back but i noticed there were a few people that looked like they were just standing there not knowing what to do. if no one is at the counter ordering shouldn't everyone be helping with the rush? i ordered a mcchicken with just the chicken, american cheese and bacon. i specifically clicked NO lettuce and NO mayo. i ordered it on the screen myself to ensure it would be correct. nope. i got a mcchicken with lettuce all smeared in the cheese so i couldnt even pick it off. i guess i have to go make my own food behind the counter too. im not usually a person that complains like this but everytime i come to this mcdonald's i somehow have a bad experience. also, the worst part is these kids make way too much money to be speaking to the customers the way they do. something needs to change read more

Worst service ever! Went inside to order and took 20 minutes and only got my order because I demanded it! All the drive thru cars were more important with orders going out left and right. Management is awful too, she just walked around and didn't help the only person doing cash register and handling in restaurant orders all by himself: there were 4 people serving drive-thru. I wish I could give a half star. This is the closest Mc Donald's in the area so there's not too much choice. But not only did I receive cold food last time I visited like they set it aside an hour ago and then handed it out. But it sucks driving 40 minutes round trip just to eat Mc Donald's because there's not much open. But the lady handing out food liters listed everything I ordered such as a 20 nugget and 2 large fries and the sauces included. Got back home and not one fucking sauce in the bag. It's so simple. Waited 20 mins in line paid for mccafe and told at pickup that the machine was down. Money refunded but why all the wait?

We were in the area at lunch time and since we were in a hurry we decided to stop in and pick up some of the cheeseburgers to go that we heard were on sale for $.69. Wow, what a mistake. I was hungry so I ordered 4 and an order of fries. My wife ordered a Chix sandwich. So we're driving down the road and grab my first one and it was so dry, it was like eating cardboard. It had very little mustard and catsup and one little pickle. My wife's sandwich was the same way, dry with only a pickle. It too was like cardboard. I thought OK I'll try the next one and it was the same way. So I checked the rest and they were all the same way. What a waste of time and money. And to top all that when we paid the young girl never said hello, thanks, kiss my foot or anything. So I said "you're welcome" and pulled forward to get my order. I was handed the bag and the young person said nothing. Looked in the bag to check to see if it was complete and there were no napkins, no catsup or condiments. So I had to ask for them and still didn't get a "Thank You". So long MacDonald's. I'll be looking for another fast food place to stop in the future. read more

Worst McDonalds we have ever been to. The customer service is terrible. The employees have an "I don't care" attitude and were chatting/gossiping with each other instead of attending to the customers. Other customers were getting frustrated as well, as I seen one man ask for his food to be remade because it got cold sitting on there counter instead of being served to him. Besides the horrible customer service, and waiting way too long for our food, the order was still messed up and missing items. This has to be the worst operated McDonald's in the Tampa area. I walk up to the cashier to place my order, she doesn't say a word. No "good morning" or "may I take your order". Nothing. After I place my order no "thank you" or anything. I get my order and no cup. Once again no "sorry" or anything. I go to sit down, 20 empty tables and not a single one was clean. I had to wipe down the table myself. I go to get ketchup and the dispenser is empty. Back to the counter and tell someone the ketchup dispenser is empty and she tells me where it is. Yes I know that's why I am telling you. She gives me 1 packet for my fries. Seriously? She gave a large sigh when I asked for more. I leave and the trash can is full. Imagine how relieved we were to have driven from the airport from our late night flight to see the McDonald's arches. Well, we were in for a surprise. All the signs on the doors and website said "Open 24 hours". NOT! We arrived a little before midnight, tired and very hungry, with 2 grandchildren in tow. Not only were employees in the store, but all doors were locked, and they never even responded to our knocking. Someone who had waited in the drive up lane for 20 minutes finally joined us saying they couldn't get waited on either. Stop false advertising. We're not sure what their problem is, but we want everyone to know that Ellenton McDonald's is a very poor choice. We left with nothing but 4 hungry, disgruntled people!!! Second time reviewing this place. One star. Sat in the drive thru for 30 mins. Legit ordered a 20 piece only for the lady to ring up like 60 chicken nuggets for $15. Drive thru was insanely packed, maybe because there's one person working the drive thru that has no training whatsoever. If she did have training then she should be terminated and never be able to apply for another food job again. Anyways I decided to drive off after no cars were moving after the 30 minute marker was up. Went to Burger King and my homies hooked it up within 3 minutes full process fam. Every time I pass this mcshit it's always full. Drive thru is always full. And now I really know why. I rarely leave a review because it takes a crazy amount of bullshit for me to actually care.
