I go to this McDonalds because it is usually pretty competent. I stopped by today and ordered a Big Mac meal. Got home and first bite discovered that I had probably got the wrong Big Mac as it had mayo instead of special sauce. Doesn't seem like much, but for me it made the Mac super bland and not worth eating. At least I hope I got the wrong Mac as I hope the higher pay (still not in favor) hasn't affected the service of its employees. When called they offered a replacement, but I am at least 20 minutes away R/T 40 minutes and $3+ in gas. Then they kept asking me if I ordered it that way and I had to tell them multiple times that I just wanted a normal Big Mac (I don't put plain mayo on anything and yes I know lots of sauces have mayo in them). Your app is appalling when trying to order on the screens in store. I had my code and the screen froze while trying to order. I went to the live person and he said it was beyond his control. This is not the first time this has happened. The manager should be able to type in my code to proceed with the order and provide the discount given to us. If I could leave a negative Star review I would. The service here was terrible. The main server in a green safety vest, could literally give a flying f less about her job or the customers. Spent the majority of the time in the lobby chatting with a fellow coworker, all while her fellow coworker was rushing out orders and trying to do drive through and food pickup orders. The manager was trying keep the peace and tried talking to her, but to no change. Lobby was disgusting, so was the kids play area. Food all over the ground and the tables. I asked the lazy server for a cloth to wipe the table for my kids, since she was apparently too busy to do anything else. Food arrived and was literally dropped on the table, still waiting on the cleaning rag. With half our food was missing, when I went to the counter to get the missing items, I was given attitude like I was putting her out. She asked for our receipt which was fine, the huffed and stormed in the back. Normally no problems. Today our order wasn't displayed on the screen when they told us to pull forward and pay so I had to politely check with the lady at the register as to what the order was before we paid. Went fine, got food and headed home. Now, I had already braved the roasting heat and traffic and waited in line to give this place my money only to find out when I made it home that my burger was charcoal. Called and found out from management that if I wanted them to fix their mistake I would have to put in the effort to drive all the way back to the store in sweltering heat just to get a new burger. A customer should not have to expend so much effort to get their food and give this place their business when an employee screwed up. I will admit a burnt burger is not a big deal, the amount off effort required by customers to fix this stores mistakes is more than I'm willing to put out to continue donating my money to their paychecks. If they screw up your order too you will understand my point. Especially if you made it home before finding out about their mistake. My extra effort is not worth your business. read more
