Being that we were in a car for several hours traveling from Key West ...we decided to stop because we were starving and there weren't many choices. First, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked! Score. We were impressed by this considering the restaurant was very busy. We ordered and had our food within five minutes. The food was good..For as good as McDonald's can be. The staff member promptly said the only option for ordering was basically just hamburgers nothing else. I don't exactly remember the numbers, but you only had 4 burger options. It's always the ice cream machine is broken or the frappe machine is cleaning itself. I'm local to the area and this McDonald's always has less than 1 star service. This evening (5/14/18) I pulled up to place a quick order for my son after a long day at work. The girl said "one sec" and we sat there for 13 minutes, ALL while 4 other cars went through the other line! Upon placing my order, the girl had no manners whatsoever and was completely uninterested in doing her job. So...pulled up to the window and same thing. Another girl who didn't even speak a single word. Didn't ask what my order was and didn't confirm anything. I had to ask her. She took my card and slammed the window shut. Ok, little Miss Tude. So I get my card and pull up to the next window. SAME THING. She didn't even acknowledge I was a human. So I said "helloooo!!" In a cheery singy voice fairly loudly. Worst experience ever. We pull up, the drive thru is backed up. Fine. We park, go in, the line is ridiculous. So we see self-service machines to order, great! We put in our order, try to pay for it, and low and behold the machine isn't accepting credit card payments! We get a ticket and pay for it at 8:39pm. I FINALLY get my order at 9:03, get back to my car, only to find that they had my order totally wrong. I go in to have it corrected, and have to wait again, just to get someone's attention. I tell someone, they blow me off and tell me to talk to someone else. 10 min later, I have to interrupt one of the employees, and ask for them to correct my order. Thankfully she corrects it quickly. However in ALLLLLLL of that time waited, not once did any employee acknowledge the wait or apologize to ANY patrons for having to wait so long. ROBBERIES HAPPEN HERE FREQUENTLY BE AWARE !! We are tourists and parked the car. Gone for 15 mins and the window was smashed in and a number of valuables stolen from our car. Police said these robberies happen in the parking lot numerous times a day and McDonald's does absolutely nothing to warn or try to prevent further situations like ours. The location on 8th st always has dry, hard bread while the one inside walmart is a little dry all around and the other on us1 is good, but these are better.
