I am SO angry. I love panda express and I spend ALOT of money ordering from there. I signed up with the app and every time I have a discount to redeem there always an issue in store. I had a birthday offer.. free small entree with a purchase. I bought small orange chicken and a refresher drink and coupon wouldn't work. Staff kept GUESSING why it didn't work. Then one perfusion said, you need spend like $20 to get it free. I was like, n o, that's not accurate. Then another Payson said, I need to buy a MEAL to get the free entree, I got upset and left. Then today, afternoon, I ordered online using the birthday gift and ordered a small side of rice and it went through and worked. So they ruined my bday not knowing how to redeem anything in store. Then, in evening, I placed another online order for pick up tonight. I sent my boyfriend to pick it up. I had received t ext saying order was ready. He got there and they asked him 5 times who order was for. They said it wasn't ready. Then they insulted him, asking him if he was going to steal someone's order. I visited this location around 12:15 PM on a Monday. There were only about 2-4 people in line, so I expected things to move quickly. When I got to the counter, the manager taking my order had an AirPod in her ear, and I had to repeat my order five times before she understood me. Nothing I ordered was ready, and I ended up waiting about 25 minutes. When I went back to the counter to check on my food and asked if it was almost ready, the manager just looked at me and said, "What?" still with the AirPod in her ear. I always want to give this location the benefit of the doubt but it ALWAYS lets me down. As others have stated, they are always out of everything. I place my orders online to avoid this but when it's my time to pick up it's never ready or they don't have what I ordered ready to go yet. The same cashier for last time and he is on point and the way he finished the process makes me not concerned about the wait, confusion, or rush of the ordering process. I was in Florida City for other business and wanted something filling but also on the fast side. I went to a local strip mall, about 2 minutes from the hotel, where I found the Panda Express, Wing Stop and Jimmy John's. The line was short with only 2 people in front of me at the time. Everything was in stock and looked like it was just cooked and was not sitting around for very long. I ordered the noodles with Orange and Teriyaki chicken. The Orange chicken was cooked well and not overcooked like some places do, and the sauce was the regular orange sauce they use, Tasty with a little spice. The Teriyaki chicken was cooked very well and was so tender it could cut easily with my plastic fork. The noodles were good, but just that. Something to just go along with the rest of the meal. My biggest complaint about this meal was that the teriyaki sauce comes in a packet and isn't very warm. So your putting cold sauce on hot meat and it brings the taste of the chicken down a little! And this location is always out of something like the firecracker shrimp or sweet and sour chicken breast. The wait is also pretty long if im being honest but if you order something you know you will like the wait is worth it and the price is more on the reasonable side. For starters, they tend to have a placard for a dish that is not available. In my experience, about the only things available are the rice or the fortune cookies (which are sold in bags like potato chips). Beyond that, you'll have to wait while they pretend to cook your order. One of my main dishes when I eat Chinese is Beef and Broccoli. The Panda Express excels at making this dish a flavorless concoction of something beyond further description. The "Beijing Beef" is a sticky, salty mess. The "Orange Chicken" will leave you wondering where the orange flavor is, let alone the chicken. And there has only been one other place, in the entire world that I have visited, that can screw up fried rice (that's Makoto's in Melbourne). Fried rice isn't that hard to make, but the Panda Express rice is not only lacking flavor, but it's undercooked or been sitting around drying out for three or four days. I won't comment on service - it's what should be expected with fast-food. - beyond this: the "cook" gave me the dirtiest look when I ordered the beef with broccoli. Afterall, it was on the "menu" (via placard over an empty pan), just not available without cooking. He continued to give me this dirty look the entire time I waited (turning around to do so) to when I paid. They have several new dishes, but they are spicy so the kids don't like it. My kids always get the Orange Chicken and they love the Teriyaki grilled Chicken...so good! The young girls working there are not the friendliest and they do the least amount of work to just barely meet the standard of giving you your food, nothing extra.
