I feel like things keep getting worse at all McD's, but particularly this one. The food quality keeps deteriorating, the prices keep going up, and the service is nonexistent. It's a lot of corporate cost cutting with all the inflation, I get it, but it's getting out of hand. I do appreciate that this location still realizes that some people want to actually sit down and eat at a McDonald's. But the dining area is almost always filthy. And the play area needs a good bit of TLC. For the most part, you get the same culinary experience as any McDonald's. But, be forewarned, they aren't very good at customized orders. I took my grandkids here for breakfast because they have a great play place (and it was Sunday and Chic fil a was closed). we went in and immediately saw a line of people waiting for their food. I stood at the counter to order but all the employees looked at me and kept doing whatever they were doing ( including the manager) Completely ignored me. I ended up ordering and paying on the kiosk. $30 for 2 small kids and 1 adult. that was 30 minutes ago and we are still waiting for our food. Worst customer service ever. I will never return again. My initial bday party idea for my 4yr old could not be executed due to the uncertain weather so I began looking for last minute replacements. My cousin threw McDonalds out there. We called several locations and was advised that they no longer hosted bday parties. Then we called the Route 3 location! To my surprise they were willing, and excited to host a birthday party for my son. They told us we could come check out the playroom and also drop off decorations ahead of time. McDonalds also told us how to place the order for our food to keep it cost effective. Well fast forward to the party day. We could not have been more pleased! The play room had been cleaned and sanitized and they sectioned off an area and decorated the tables with their provided tablecloths, balloons, place mats, and a birthday banner! We were allowed to play music and there was a bathroom located inside the playroom area. And of course the food was hot and yummy! They truly understood the mission and fully executed. Not to mention, there was no fee to host the party there. My son and whole family could not have been happier! 1. Most unhappiest McDonalds of all time. Got yelled at by some woman for mistaking her order for mine. Also nobody had a smile on their face, it was like the sky got all cloudy when I walked inside and everything turned gray 2. Workers are walking all over but working very unproductively. Forgot half my order and took 23 (I timed it) minutes until my intervention to receive the other half. I saw someone trying to get the manager and took about 20 minutes to come out. Everyone was so tense and tired. Probably overworked and underpaid employees. These employees are also super dismissive and rude. You already know the boss is a terrible boss if their employees are taking out their work-related issues on costumers 3. Food was alright. Just normal McDonalds preservative quality 4. Floor was sticky and dirty and the ice machine was broken, so I was left with a lukewarm (and flat) cup of Coke Don't recommend, go save your time at a Burger King. I understand there are poor reviews for food quality or errors -- this will happen for fast food. However, our dine-in experience was better than expected. Took my 5 year old here midday on a friday, and everything was clean and updated. There is a main restaurant section and a separate play room area for children. The main bathrooms were very clean and stocked. There is a separate family bathroom in the play zone area. The kids area has 2 large booths, 7 separate tables, and two large tables with low stools. It was not busy when we came. You can order with an employee at the counter or via a kiosk. For dine in, you need to pick out your table first and enter the table number upon checkout. They bring the food directly to your table. We ordered a quarter pounder meal and a happy meal with customizations, and everything was correct. My son really enjoyed playing on the play structure. It is a great option for kids on hot or cold weather days. Structure is likely meant for kids between 4 and 12. Small slide for tots but nothing else. There is plenty of parking to include handicapped spots. Right in the center of Route 3 with entrances on both sides. Also has drive thru as an option. read more

Came here on the late night with my son almost 2 weeks ago. While I was ordering my food a guy came from out of nowhere and tried to hop in the backseat of my car. Luckily there was nobody in front on me in the inside lane and I pulled off. I didn't even know he was there until I heard him pull the handle. I'm really good about watching my mirrors, and was baffled as to how he got up on me like that so I drove back the next day and realized that there are stairs behind the drive thru order sign. I called the mcdonalds a bunch of times, but got no answer. I called the police when I get home and made a report. My son was scared to death, but was able to give a great description of the guy, because he got a better glimpse of him than I did. Outside of potentially being harmed/robbed/murdered the service here sucks. I was stuck in line my previous visit for over 20 minutes for 1 meal. Normal McDonalds, nothing different and nothing spectacular. We've been here twice in the last couple months to get the kiddo a Happy Meal and they never have the advertised toys (that we came for). When asked, the woman was not very kind and said they'd get them in next week, walked away and ignored us (and we merely asked if there was another option, very professional and we're not being inappropriate to her)... we came back a couple months later and the same exact thing happened, and we got the same exact Teen Titans coloring page we got a couple months back. This is no McDonald's Cafe or McDonalds Anything at all. This place is more of an emotionless factory line of pushing artificial food and flavor that still taste like the color grey. The place is ran by a Sassy Caribbean man who could careless about an issue you have. The manager has about as much shine and use as a 1973 wet penny. He'll get the job done but only 1 percent at a time. The place is also fairly dirty. The playground looks like somebody was trying to feed pigeons some French fries but expected birds to fly in at some point. Lastly, an employee was shot and killed here one night and the store power washed the parking lot and resumed operations that morning. Seems like a nice mourning process as an employee. read more

Never have I ever.... reviewed a McDonald's! Lol. I had a rare craving. I feel like coming to a McDonald's is always a toss up -- it's either going to exceed your expectations or fail miserably. This was the former! While the employees aren't necessarily focused on friendliness or hospitality, I got exactly what I ordered (special order) and everything was so fresh. I was in and out of the drive-thru in about 120 seconds. This location unfortunately experienced a horrible tragedy this week. An employee was gunned down while working the drive-thru. I find if GROSSLY offensive, insensitive, and disturbing that literally hours later they reopened for business and were operating normally. Literally THAT morning someone was shot and killed working at the window and 6 hours later they have someone working that same job, in the same place as if it never happened. This place was fine right after it reopened from it's renovations and has rapidly gone down hill since. The play area is massive, but every time I bring my son it's dirtier and dirtier. Every time we come the food is slower and the orders less accurate. The ketchup dispensers haven't worked from the beginning. The employees use the bathroom in the play place for some reason and stay in there forever. The men's bathroom in the main part of the restaurant smells SO. BAD. In the play area there is a repetitive beeping sound about every 5 seconds and it's been that way for at least 3 weeks. It's crazy loud. The place is just all around dirty and the service is poor. I bring my kid here because I can get a table in the play area while he plays, as opposed to other places where the tables are located in an entirely different room. Wow, this was bad. When I made my order, after each item the person quickly asked "is that all?" Like he had something else to do. (No one in line behind me). This was not a normal way to address a customer. I felt I was just a customer taking up his time from other things. Finally, I was given my order with a missing sprite. I said there was another sprite I ordered with the kids meal. She quickly came back with attitude that it's right there. I said there was another one. She just sat there and stared...very strange. I asked again where the other sprite is. She asked to see the receipt and said I didn't order another sprite with the kids meal. I said I did...(there was no apple juice with the kids meal either). She stares and waits..then said what's the problem with attitude. I said there wasn't another sprite. So she gets another one and hands it to me. I felt I was just a customer taking up her time from other things. After we left, we discovered we got a 4 piece nugget, not a six piece. Overall, each individual attitude and rush would have been not that big of a deal on its own, but to have attitude from three different people shows something is seriously wrong with the workplace climate and management. This was discovered after we went through the (way) less than friendly drive thru, where the manager robotically handed me the order without uttering a word -- no "Thank You!", "Good Morning", "Good Bye", nada! I will say his Sausage Mcmuffin was hot, but after the "bathroom discovery" he regretted eating it! I visit this location often for their McCafe cappuccinos. Mcdonald's McCafe drinks are actually great...when made correctly...much better than overrated Starbucks. Unfortunately, when I order from this McDonald's there is only a 50% chance that my drink is made correctly. On tooooo many occasions I have been handed the wrong drink, OR, handed a cup of what tastes like brown water. I have ended up throwing out many "cappuccino's", and have wasted my money. On one occasion, the dimwitted person who made my cappuccino did not put the lid on tightly. When I picked up the cup from my car cupholder, the hot sticky sweet liquid spilled ALL over my gear shift and floor. I dont know why I continue to torture myself by visiting this place. Family of 8 celebrating 5 year old's birthday at the location of her choosing. Tried inner drive through - no response for 3 minutes - decided it must be closed and went around again to outer drive through. Order individual was rude and impatient. We ordered a total of 52 chicken nuggets - did not receive any sauces though we had requested them. We also ordered 4 fries and received no ketchup. To top it all off - no napkins were placed in our bags. Due to covid-19 we were too far away and the line was too long anyway - to seek to rectify. Worst experience at McDonalds in 50 years! After handing me the food they told me it was made to order after only 3 minutes and of course it wasn't and everything was warm. They had me pull up to the reserved drive they and made me wait outside for 12 minutes without checking back on me or bringing me the food. I've been a customer of this McDonald's for over 10 years. I think the RT-3 @ 424 McD's has figured it out! They are fast, courteous, and the food is consistently good. The line an be a bit long at peak times... but they keep it moving. This one has upgraded to the new 'cafe' style and has a large play room. My local McD's is horrible... I drive out of my way to grab a Happy Meal here! A happy meal is enough for me! My husband gets a bit more tho. Overall... this is not a five star restaurant with valet parking, but this McD's does as well as a fast food establishment can do! It's definitely in the top 20%. read more
