I went to the drive up window to take my order about 1pm today. I hear a woman laughing on the speaker. Finally, she took my order. She repeated the other 3 times, which was still incorrect. I ordered a cheeseburger, small fries, and large root beer. I got to the window order, which is still incorrect. She added dr pepper. She didn't understand English had to call her supervisor. I ordered through the drive-thru today around 340 pm. I ordered a cheese burger large fries 4 piece nugget 1 happy meal toy only large coke a Mcflurry. I checked the bag to see if I saw all the items it all seemed to be in there. When I got home I open the cheese burger wrapper and the burger was half eaten. Not sure if a customer ate half of it and returned it or an employee was eating while working and confused the burgers and put it back in the heater. Whatever the case is especially with Corona virus that is fucking disgusting. This isn't not the first time this has happen to me from this McDonald's. I went back to this mcdonalds and talked to a manager and she wouldn't give me her name she had no name tag or the owners name or coropates number health inspector number or any info!!! She didn't even say sorry. I DID NOT get my refund. She said she couldn't give me my money back. I called corporate and the lady took down notes and my info but said the owner probably won't contact me and they can't do much. I had to call Glenview police to situate this and get my money back and a phone number for customer service for Mcdonalds. This is absolutely disappointing and disgusting. This location is always jam-packed. Our little coffee group likes to meet here on Saturdays and sometimes seating is limited. That's how popular this place is! Plus, they are a tad higher priced than other McDonald's. I don't know why. The music in the bathroom is so loud (country), it drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!! We live within walking distance of one McD, whereas this location is a short drive away. We choose to make the drive. This location is on top of things with the McD Happy Meals and just the overall experience (food, friendliness, etc.). They often have toys unavailable at other locations, and not once has a staff member become agitated when we asked for a specific toy. Instead they would go dig around (for a while), and often be able to find the one we were looking for. If not, they'll inform you when the next toy shipment is expected. One of our filet o fish sandwiches had bright green fibers from a sponge in it. When I called to complain the manager asked me 5 times to repeat myself and did not understand what I was telling her. She would not give the number to complain at the level above her. She did refund the amount when we went back there to the store and did give a rain check. Drive thru, ordered 6pc nuggets, fries and drink. Took about 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me, but everyone's short staffed these days so no biggie. As I'm driving away I pop some fries in my mouth. Ugh -- horrible, horrible fries. (I won't bother to describe them, since everyone knows how great "good" McDonald's fries are, and conversely how absolutely horrible "bad" McDonald's fries can be.) Sigh. Ok, again not a big deal, I'll just go back and ask for some fresh ones. By now there are 3-4 cars visible in each of the 2 drive thru lanes, so I check the hours on the door sign -- open until 10pm (it's 7:30pm). Park the car and head in -- only to find the door locked. I look around for any sort of "temporarily closed" sign and find nothing. As I'm jiggling the door handle, a manager (?) walks by inside. She looks at me, I hold up my fries and say, "I need fresh fries." She looks directly at me, turns her head and walks away. Seriously? So now it's back to the drive thru. After another significant wait, I reach the first window and ask for a manager. A gentleman comes, I return the food and ask for a refund, as at this point my nuggets are cold as well. This "manager"(?) struggles with how to process a refund. After a while two employees try "helping" him. Eventually, the female manager(?) who ignored me at the door arrives, and after a while I'm told the refund was processed, and given my refund receipt. I ask again why the dining room door is locked but get no answer. Home now, I look at the receipt and realize it's been processed for a refund of $0.00. Unbelievable. I know customer service is bad everywhere these days, but do yourself a favor -- unless you like horrible fries, long waits, inept "managers," and, apparently, throwing your money away, skip this location. read more

I was told that tea was not a soft drink and I couldn't get it with my meal. When I did get it with my meal I was charged extra. Also got charged extra when I got a tea for a happy meal. If tea isn't a soft drink then why is out in the lobby. But I received a very nice email . Seems like they are scamming alot of people. My friends and I went there at 9:25 PM so we called and they said that they were open until 11 PM so we walked there in the cold and the door was locked. The man just looked at us and shook his head. We ended up going through the drive-through and we had to wait 15 minutes just for the woman to ask us what we want. So I ordered my usual iced coffee this morning using the drive thru. As I pull up to the kiosk, a voice over the speaker blurts out "would you like to try ""some blah blah blah today"?, I reply "no thank you, I'd like an iced coffee"... Then suddenly a real live McDonald's person comes on and asks "can I take your order"... It's annoying because I always think a real person is asking me what I want... . Also, usually I repeat my order to the actual person taking the order, so I end up speaking into the kiosk microphone at least three times. Ahh whatever. This is a nice looking and newer McDonald's. It has a double drive-thru that moves quickly during peak hours. It also has plenty of parking space. I have only visited this McDonald's once. I probably eat at a McDonald's only a few times per year. Almost always when I am starving and unable to get food quickly and/or elsewhere. My meal was fresh and piping hot. The let down was the muffin that I was given. I noticed after I had started eating it that it was stamped (Enjoy by 4:21pm). Well, I was eating at this McDonald's at about 5:40pm. Don't come here. the tables are dirty, the floor is wet, and more. If that's not enough well when I was about to order the cashier and manager were arguing about cleaning the floor. Overall the staff for the most part was nice and friendly. But they should not have to wait to clean the tables after customer ask! I went to the drive thru with a few buddies and we ordered 5 10 piece McNuggets. First the man at the window didn't give my friend his debit card back so my friend had to run back and get it from him at the window. Then upon inspection there were only 4 10 piece nuggets in the bag. We had already waited 15 minutes in the drive thru and had to deal with the debit card incident. We go back to the drive thru and we say over the speaker that we only got four. A completely different worker (that we had not previously interacted with) answers the intercom and says "no the order is right we put 5 in". We say whatever and hope the other worker (who I assume is the manager) would be more lenient especially after the mistake he made with the debit card. He again completely blew us off despite a the fact that we had already been at this McDonald's for nearly a half hour and spent 40+ on food already. He said "you got 5 don't play with me" which was completely untrue. Absolutely ridiculous and I will no longer be supporting this location until there is a management change. read more
