Why does it take 30 minutes for an order of fries and nuggets? Already premade food? Drink was basically half full. Wasn't even busy the line did not move for 30 freaking minutes. So when we had to have a shamrock shake while driving in Grand Rapids, we swung into McDonalds. There were a lot of vehicles in the drive-thru windows, so we went in & ordered. Gross and disgusting lobby. workers were standing there and it took 20 min to get food. obnoxious workers yelling.

For a quarter pounder and cheese and small coffee the drive-through took 20 min, and it wasn't the cars in front of me. 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon. I was met with confusion at the pay window and another delay and a loose lid on the hot coffee at the pick-up window. I could see the loose lid and it fell off but the attendant still couldn't tighten it so I did. I should have read the YELP rating before stopping. And the bun was stale, actually a little crunchy. Wait time was way too long. Ordered thru drive through, by the time we got to the window for our food it had been almost 30 minutes. There were 4 cars ahead of us so it wasn't busy at that time. Worst service I've ever had at a McDonald's. From ordering to paying to pick up of the food. There were only 5 cars ahead of us and it took 30 minutes to get to the window. Didn't receive two of our drinks and while waiting for the food, we watched the employee bagging our food, BITING HER NAILS before proceeding to put her hand in our bag of food. Quite literally the slowest McDonald's I have ever been to. I live In GR and ANY time we go through the drive through it takes at least 20 minutes. Do yourself a favor and walk in if you go here. It won't be much faster, but it definitely IS faster. read more

Literally every time i visit here which is like, a lot okay like 5 times a week and every single time they get my order wrong. i can be home, 20 min away and find a bunch of onions on our burgers. or when we don't get a fry or when you ask for only mustard they put extra mustard. and no, i will still probably go there a bunch cause it's good but they needa get it together. that's that. read more

Being a McDonalds employee there aren't many good McDonald's restaurants around as good as this one, yeah we mess up some times big whoop, no one's perfect, don't like it go to a different restaurant, our prices might be getting higher but so is a lot of things like gas, groceries, anything and everything, the staff is amazing to be around and our regulars love as all the same, so yea we might not be the best McDonald's, but we still care about our customer service, cuz it's our number 1 priority read more

OK... Tried again.. 8 days ago.. Same thing.. Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese No Pickles.. No Ketchup.. large order of fries.. freshly prepared when you order. $15.57 thank you.. Doesn't take as long as last time.. GOOD.. Get the food home.. 4 minutes.. not too far away.. Fries.. look warm.. but edible to some degree.. Quarter Pounder with Cheese, seems OK.. Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese No Pickles.. No Ketchup .. looks like No Pickles.. No Ketchup... perfect.. WAIT!! NO BACON... and the grill slip is correct..still on the packaging.. I call them up to complain.. I want what I ordered (but not willing to go back today..) The young lady on the phone was all apologies.. agreed Bacon is what makes it great. Will get a voucher in the mail the next day. I say thanks.. end of conversation. NO VOUCHER.. I never learn. To add insult to injury the food isn't at all good.. this "fresh meat.. freshly cooked" hasn't improved the taste.. only impacted the price upwards. This is an ok McDonald to go to. You get ok service depending on the time of day you go in there. Day time is ok but the night time is a hit and miss. But you still get good food. read more

One review for two stars.... sorry, can't do this place much better, but I will give it 3, mainly because it's got one of the only play places for like 80 miles, but it's not always the cleanest. And I have to agree with the other poster.... this is rarely "fast" food. I know McDonald's standards as far as timing and I don't think this one has met them once... inside or out. read more

the slowest McDonalds ever. All their "upgrades" don't mean crap if I'm standing there watching and reading them for 15 minutes waiting for my food. gives me more time to watch employees move like turtles, training obviously lacking in teaching efficiency. Lunch OBVIOUSLY busiest time but still as slow and understaffed and dazed, monotone employees at the register. rather than try to be "current" with menu items they should go back to speed, efficiency and customer service read more

I've always enjoyed McDonald's, we go usually once a week. Breakfast is the household favorite, but chicken McNuggets are the second. We rarely have an issue but if we do the management team is friendly and willing to make things right. read more
