Halibut with lemon butter...AMAZING!
Coree S.

In Grand Rapids for our anniversary and heard they had all you could eat crab so my Husband tried it. Very good but the spice on the outside was a bit much. I had garlic butter halibut which was AMAZING, possibly the best I've ever had. Rolls were yummy as well as the garlic mashed potatoes that were real not fake like some places have. All in all we would recommend it if you are in the area and they have a great outdoor patio!

I really wanted to like this place but there were a couple of screw-ups that keep me from giving them anything more than 3 stars. 1) First, the flavor of our food was really good but it was literally dripping with GREASE -- gross. This is because they didn't have the temperature high enough on the deep fryer. This is an amateur move. Someone in the kitchen should wake up. 2) Second, the customer service was messed up. We sat at the bar so we'd get good service. There were too young dudes working as bartenders. They took forever to do everything, despite not being very busy (see photo). One guy was more interested in SOCIALIZING with his buddies at the bar than doing his job. They were also ridiculously DISORGANIZED. It was like an old Laurel & Hardy episode. The second guy finally took our order after we waited for what seemed like an eternity. Then the first guy finally showed up to take our order. So despite being only 6 feet from each other, they obviously didn't know what the hell they were doing. Finally, they were super damn SLOW. It took almost an hour to wait to be acknowledged, to wait for our menu, to wait to order, to talk to 2 different bar tenders, to wait for our food, and to finally get our food. After an hour we decided to not order more food and to get back on the road. 3) Third - finally - they have a killer summertime location on the lake. They could be so much better. I might be willing to try them again but only if someone else buys. -Daddy Maxx Retro

Wild walleye dinner!!!
Brad A.

I had the grilled walleye and it was very good, my first time eating walleye and I was not disappointed. Very friendly staff and everyone was very satisfied. The Reuben egg rolls were a hit. I stepped outside t check out the view and it was nice. I hope to be back next year!

Great outdoor seating. A few specialty drinks, good food. Fun place to stop for a late lunch. Park your boat just steps from the door.

Wonderful Pasties!!! I'm from Texas and only just learned of pasties after visiting the UP this…read morespring. I have to say, these pasties here are better than what I had in the UP! I originally got 2 breakfast, a German and a Beef and Kraut. They were fantastic! I went back as we were leaving to head west and got some frozen ones to bring along our journey. I only wish they still took mail orders! Do yourself a favor and stop by this tiny gem. You will not be disappointed. The sweet lady with the tattoos was a doll....very friendly and helpful. I am already looking forward to our next trip this way!!!

There's only a handful of places from The UP (of Michigan) over to The Iron Range who not only make and serve delicious Pasties, but have them frozen or freezer ready to go. Please make Pasties Plus a stop on your way. This is a take out and take home place. I recall seeing one small table. So don't bring a group here to eat. Call ahead and order for your group, family or yourself. Then stop in. Take out. And enjoy. PS - I suggest cutting your hot Pastie in half. Partly to let the heat and savory smells out, but also so you can douse one side with ketchup while you taste the other side straight up.

I hate having to give 2 stars, but I just did not have a great experience. I was in town for work…read moreand stopped here for dinner. I was seated at a high top in the bar area. It took probably 10 minutes for anyone to greet me. There were servers walking past me and I was so confused why no one said hi, or we will be right with you. Nothing. There was a couple of women at a table near me that must have been employees, because the servers kept going over there at chatting. I ordered the salmon with au gratin potato's and Brussel sprouts. The salmon was cooked nicely, but everything was so extremely salty that it made it difficult to enjoy. I tried scraping off as much of sauce on the salmon so I could finish it. Overall, I was really disappointed and won't be back.

I chose the tenderloin medallions stuffed with onions and mushrooms and wrapped in bacon. For sides, I had the Caesar salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I wish I would have had one more medallion for the cost of the meal but it was quite tasty. Husband had panko shrimp which was also quite good. Entrees come with a hot-out-of-the-oven popover. Yummm. Service was excellent. It would be great if they could create more of a dinner atmosphere. The lighting is like being in a conference room.
