He said yes, they will be open and lots of food options. Sure enough, when we made the turn at 930a, they were open. The staff was very friendly and said their hot dogs are pre-wrapped and hot. Get it to go and make the turn to maintain your pace of play. They had all the condiments right there, plus fresh cole slaw, chili and pickle relish. It was better than most other hot dogs I've had at much nicer golf courses.

My dining companion's burger was cooked as requested and she thought it was very good. Service was OK, but definitely not overly attentive. Compared to prices down the road in Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head, the restaurant is a good value. Based on our experience, BJ's Carolina Cafe mainly caters to a local crowd. All in all, it's fine, especially if it's nearby or on your way to/from Outer Banks.
