8251 Princeton Glendale Rd, West Chest This is a McDonalds in West Chester Ohio. I was there today in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. I could not move because there was a car behind me and one in front of me in line. After waiting as long as I did, I finally got to the screen where you order your food. I was ask was i using the Mc Donalds app. I said "No". I the cars in the line next to me, keep going up to the screen and ordering food, (I could hear conversations between the person taking the orders and the people ordering food) cars went thru , then I started blowing my horn to let thje people inside know that there was people in the line which was the left side, still waiting to order food. No one ever answered. I had my year old grandson with me, who was by this time crying, So I pulled through the line and left. I did not go in the business, because I was very upset and my grandson was hungry. I did go back after my grandson went home, and stood at the counter for aprox., minutes before someone called the manager over. I told her the situation, she offered a free meal. I explained that a free meal was not what I was after. The restraunt was dirty, there was food under the prep line and all the people kept walking thru it. I left word for the Manager to contact me. Lets see if that happens... I would not go to this place to eat. My wife refuses to stop her because of the attitudes of those who work in this place. We have been shorted food, on a couple times. If I could give this place a negative quadrillion star review, I wouldn't do it bcs I'd still need more negative stars. 5 years ago this place was still awful. I counted 9 times in a row they messed up my order or food in some way. I didn't think it was possible so I made a game out of it. I moved to Colorado and three years passed before my family and I moved back. One night I was hungry and I thought to myself "there's no way.. right? It's still can't be that bad." My sorry self left the house to grab a bite. I sat for 20 minutes after they told me to "pull up and they'll bring my order out".. next thing I know, an employee approached my car with a "did you need something?" Came here to dine in on a late Sunday morning. Don't usually dine in at McDonald's..usually just grab some drive-thru..but we felt like dining in on this particular trip. They were pretty busy..I assume Sunday mornings are some of their busier mornings..especially once all the churches let out. There were a bunch of people waiting in the lobby..but only a couple in line to place orders. I was able to place my order pretty quickly..I would say within a minute or two of arriving..I was impressed at how quickly I was able to. But that's where the impressiveness of the location dropped off. It took forever to get the food. Granted, we arrived around 11, and this is the time they transition from breakfast to lunch..maybe there's a hold-up because of that. I don't know..but the wait was excessive for fast food. There were plenty of people working..well over a dozen that could be seen..so I don't know what caused the hold up. It ended up being around 12 minutes..and that was only because I hadn't ordered hash browns..had I it would've been another 5 minutes on top of that at least. I'm sorry but that is totally unacceptable for fast food. Kind of defeats the purpose. I was going to order breakfast but once I saw their full lunch menu was available I opted for lunch instead. I ordered the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo with fries and a drink. When my order finally came up they presented me a tray with just the sandwich. I told them I got the combo so they stared at my receipt and then scrambled to grab my fries. Again, not a big deal..but I had just waited too long for my meal and they didn't even get it right..insult to injury type of scenario. As for the food..the fries were hot and salty..just how I like them. The Double Quarter Pounder was just as good (or bad depending on your opinion) as it always is. I know places like this process the crap out of their meat and toppings..but it's..whatever..it tastes good. So yeah..food was good..service was lacking. Nothing bad enough to stay away from this location. I mean, you kind of expect lackluster service at a place like this..and you just keep going because it's quick, tasty, and cheap. It would take a lot more than slightly lacking service to make a point to stay away. read more

Horrible I came here looking for a bite to eat 1st mistake got the crispy chicken sandwich 2nd mistake, it's was so dry all there was is a bun, chicken, and 2 pickles it was bad thank god I had a drink with me or else my mouth would be a desert! Was there today at 2:30 pm in drive through. After a minute or so of no one responding I decided I'd just go in. The cashier couldn't be bothered enough to even look up to take my order. She was texting with one hand typing on the register with the other. You had to see it to believe it! Amazing service. I had the worker named Patricia Parker the Third. She was a rubenesque lady with a vibrant, pink hair color. I think she was a little bit zesty but I am not sure. Anyway, I got a number 1 combo. I also got a 10 piece Mcnugget and an Oreo Mcflurry. Patricia P. had great service and helped me through all my problems. She is my part time therapist and helps me through a lot. LOL . My Mcdonald's was nicely cooked and had that amazing mcdonald's factor. I am lovin it. read more

I just want to thank this McDonalds location for being open on Christmas. I've had a respiratory infection for a week or so and skipped the family Christmas dinner so I didn't expose anyone. My husband and I went driving around looking for something to eat that wasn't Chinese and I said I wish McDonalds was open as we passed one that was closed. I actually had been craving a McDonalds cheeseburger all week. For some reason I always crave McDonalds when I have a severe cold or respiratory infection. I have since I was little. Absolutely stupid to every try this places the 24 hr drive through! Last week my daughters set in line for more than 20 min before they were waited on them told they would have to wait for 15-20 min to get there food because they didn't have enough help. Tonight I stopped by to get a burger and fries to close the day .... it was 9:30 PM. One car In front of me. This location was recently closed for a month in order to update the lobby. Frankly, the update didn't do this location any favors. They've added touch screen kiosks, which are fine unless you are an idiot. (If you are an idiot, please order at the counter.) The second major change is the wholesale removal of all dual-bench booths and warm colors. As such, you no longer feel like you have any privacy when you eat. EVERYTHING echoes in here. I can listen in on conversations happening across the room. It's not a pleasant place to hang out. You'll want to leave as soon as you are done eating which, I'm sure, was the point of the refit. Another side effect of all these changes - the regulars are gone. Believe it or not, but this place used to have regulars. Lunch regulars, breakfast regulars. Not anymore. On the service side, you'd think the additional automated would yield an improvement in service times and accuracy. Wrong on both fronts. Drive through times are as long as ever. Accuracy has gotten worse, a side effect, I think, of the kiosks encouraging customers to customize their orders. I've stopped coming here for my occasional morning breakfast. My daughters and I wanted McDonalds fries so we decided to come to this location....big MISTAKE! First, the worker taking our order huffed and puffed when she was taking our order and each time while we were trying to order she rudely asked "Are you done yet?" When we got to the window to pay she started again and never made eye contact. Then the employee giving us our food wasn't any better! He shoved our food out the window and when we asked for ketchup and honey mustard for the chicken nuggets he gave us one pack of honey mustard and 2 packs of ketchup for 3 large orders of fries! Probably the most inconsistent service I have ever received. Usually service here is ok but recently it's been awful. It's supposed to be 24hrs but a number times I have gone around midnight and the drive thru person would tell me they were closed. Today I was one of two cars in the drive thru and 4:30. I ordered a McDouble (no onions), mcchicken, and a large drink. I sat at the second window for 5 minutes and the. They pulled me forward and sat for another 5 minutes. Again with nobody in line when started but no multiple cars waiting behind me. Attached is my burger with no onion....they couldn't be bothered to even make sure there we no onion on my bun. If I have absolutely no time to go anywhere else and forgot to bring food to work, I'll go here. Other than that, I avoid it at all costs. The wait isn't long, but I always have food mixed up. It seems like someone there is always waiting for me so they can put pickles on everything when I ask for none. Now, when I go, I will sit at the window, open my food, and give them back what they messed up, making everyone wait. I would say a sold 3/4 times they mess something up. If I ask for ranch, it's never in the bag. So I wait until I'm at the window. But, when I ask the window employee for sauce, they roll their eyes and act like I'm asking for a million dollars. I don't really know what I expected, it's McDonalds. I normally wouldn't complain, but this McDonalds is truly the slowest I have ever been to. I live 3 minutes from this location and it is the most convenient for my morning commute. I used to go here daily and 12 months ago would have left quite a positive review. However after a couple of rounds of renovations, they seem to have lost their way. The staff is courteous when you can get to them, but in at least 3 occasions over the last month, I have waited for 5 minutes at the drive through ordering speaker and not been able to talk to anyone. I see cars waiting to pay in front of me, but no one responds on the speaker. This morning, myself and at least two other cars left the line because no one answered. I wish I could say this is only a morning issue, but my wife has also run into slow drive through times at lunch. It's so bad, that even my 13 year old doesn't want to go here because the wait will be too long. I'm only leaving this with the hopes that someone at McDonalds corporate will step in and help this location. It used to be nice and convenient, but it's no longer worth my time. As a side note, Yelp should be ashamed that they cover up the 2 star rating and move this one to the top of the restaurant search list because they buy an ad. When i did another employee asked me very politely to wait for the shift change, which I did. The next employee then told me I couldn't place my order there, I had to drive around again. I told him I had been directed to the window by another employee. He said" too bad, hes not the one one the headset. You'll have to drive around again if you want to order. Every time I've been there in the recent past the drive thru is SUPER slow and when i got to the food pickup they give me my drinks and ask me to park in the parking lot and wait for the food. After 10 minutes I usually have to go in to ask for my food at which point they seem confused. read more

Lived. In the area 6 months. Been to this McDonalds maybe 8-10 times. They'll be no more. Mgmt. Fix the condiments at DT. Last 3 times asked for salt packets, crew member wanders around and still gives me pepper. Even re-asking they can't find the salt! Change your fryer grease. Check your fry temp it's too low. Your fries aren't crisp and golden. You don't have enough employees. Ok staffing's an issue everywhere. Don't keep all the proteins sitting that long cause your not going through them cause you don't have staff to turn food. Who is in charge? Set some high standards and hold your managers accountable. Don't hand out crap. Follow the standard and if your managers don't, get rid of em.
