Would give zero stars if I could. Kids working there were rude. And there is some weird policy where I can't pick up food I paid for twenty minutes earlier if I'm five minutes late for breakfast pickup. Southern Hospitality at its finest!!! Stopped here for breakfast with my family this morning. From the moment we entered the door everyone spoke and was very attentive. The lady at the counter that took our order was really sweet. As soon as we ordered and payed, our food was ready, fresh and pipping hot!! Btw we ordered 5 meals and they all were perfectly made. The hash browns were my favorite, they had the perfect amount of crunch. Ms. Carolyn O. was the highlight of the visit, she was like an auntie you went to visit that you haven't seen in a while. She was very welcoming, greeting and making small talk with everyone that entered the the restaurant. Ms. Carolyn if you're reading this, you truly are a GEM!! Took 20 minutes in the drive-through with only a few cars in front of me. The person taking the order could barely understand what I was saying. They didn't have spicy nuggets anymore but it's clearly on the menu.I ordered two bundle meals which is a total of 40 chicken nuggets I knew there was going to be a problem when they didn't ask me to pull up. When I got home the nuggets were disgusting they were lukewarm and had to be left over from lunch the fries were so cold and disgusting we had to throw out the entire $31 purchase. read more

Seriously maybe the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. They are just so consistently bad here. They got slightly better for a time being, but they are back at being horrible again. The ordering screens in the drive thru never show you what you're ordering like they are supposed to. That's the whole point of them to make sure your order is correct! If you ask for no pickles on a cheeseburger, there is a strong chance they'll hand you a burger with absolutely nothing but meat and cheese on it! Probably one of if not the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. It is a pretty new store but Horrible HORRIBLE customer service, frequently stale fries, order is rarely if ever correct and they are always soooo slow. They also don't seem to know how to keep the milkshake machine running- EVER! The Hernando location needs better employees and a new manager. It's March 15th. St. Patricks Day is Sunday the 17th and they ALREADY stopped selling Shamrock Shakes. Couldn't get one sooner because the machine was always broken and now they've quit selling them halfway through the month. I truly hate this location... read more

My experience here was good compared to the other reviews. It may have been the time of day or possibly since the other reviews they may have hired all new staff. During my visit it was 5:45pm on Monday and there were on a few customers in the place. I ordered decaf coffee, nuggets and fries. The fries were fresh and hot. The server even told me that she would make a new pot of coffee which was oh so good! I was very pleased with my visit and hope it is due to the improvements made via the past reviews. McDonald's in Hernando is sorely incompetent. I regularly have poor service, including incorrect orders, bad lattes, long waits and rude employee interactions, but I like Mcondalds so I go. Today's experience takes the cake--we waited 35 minutes for egg mcmuffins. No special or complicated order and they just kept saying that they are up next. We asked for a refund and they took our receipt to the kitchen and held it until they got the order. Will not go back after today's experience. If I could give it no stars I would. read more

Wish I could give this McDonalds negative stars. I know like other fast food places mistakes will happen but I have NEVER had one good experience here. We have been when they are out of beef, ketchup, jelly, cups, burrito mix etc. they are always out of something. They are extremely rude. Rarely not some problem at the Hernando McDonald's. This time we wanted to use the drive thru. They have 2 lines. We drove up to one and watched 3 people have their orders taken in the other drive with none taken in the line we were in. We decided to go in. Once inside, I tried to tell the person at the register that there was a problem at the drive thru. She shrugged her shoulders and said "I just work here". I asked her if she couldn't tell the manager to which she replied "do you want to tell her"? I said I would. She called to the manager one time and when the manager didn't turn around, she quit trying. We then waited over 15 minutes for a double cheeseburger & Big Mac. When we were through, I had to search for a trash can as the only two on the store are about as far from the exit to the parking lot as they can be. Speaking of parking lot, the designated parking spaces are too small for anything other than a sub compact car. No way two large cars or trucks can park side by side and still open the doors. That's why when we make the mistake to go to this store, we rarely go in. I only gave 2 stars because at least it was clean. read more

During these times it's important to support local businesses. I am from a state that has hurricanes and when tragedy strikes it's really hits a community hard so I wanted to still support your business during this time and I spent over $30 dollars and you gave me inedible food for my family. You need to pay your workers and show pride in your business. I am a very talented and great southern cook and I will use these skills instead of donating to your business. Stop during the commercials showing community and become apart of the community that has made you rich. Pay your workers so they can have pride and never serve someone something that should go into the trash. I will tell 100's in the community about your bad service . This place is a joke! The people that work there go out of their way to be rude to you! I went today to get breakfast, I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese bagel. I paid I pulled up then she tells me to pull to the other window and wait. I said for a bagel? Ok. So I wait 10mins. There wasn't a line but there were people coming and going. They served 12 cars before giving me my food. I drive off and open it. And it's a old hamburger patty with old onions everything is cold. I mean I've worked in restaurants, bartended , waited tables all of it. I know they make a big pile of bacon and set under the warmer. So did they go out of their way to mess up my order? I realize McDonalds is not really a place worthy of a favorable review, but the one in Hernando, MS needs severe help. The employees are slow both physically and mentally, the layout is horrendous, and the "food" is not good. It needs to been torn down and rebuilt with a better floor plan, all employees from the top down need to be replaced, and the menu needs to be improved. McDonalds might have been ok many, many years ago, but not any more. How I wish I would have read R.P.'s review of this McD's before ordering an Eggwhite Delight from them Sat morning, April 19th. It was undoubtedly one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. I ordered it with a hash round which was unbelievably greasy and tasted rancid. The service was incredibly slow, the lady in front of me was returning her order for the third time, and the line was way too long inside and out. The store needs some serious management upgrade and with that, hopefully will come better service employees. What is wrong with this picture??? We were in McDonalds in Hernando Ms Friday 03/11/165 .Got super good service ,Everything as ordered ,served in record time. Cashier Name Cleo was the most Professional looking and polite person you could have asked for. Before we left a young lady took the cash register didn't get her name ,but was very polite . I went here again due to my grand daughter's request of Happy Meals. It was a Sunday afternoon and me and one other person were in line at the drive-thru. I ordered two kid meals and a grilled chicken salad. They hand me the kids meals and ask me to move up for my salad. I sat 15 minutes exactly waiting for a salad that never came. I had to park and get two toddlers out and enter the restaurant. When I entered I saw 10 or so people working behind the counters doing various things and one was pointing outside where I had been sitting waiting. They had my salad. I asked for a manager and the young lady behind the counter never said a word she left to get the manager. I asked for my money back and produced the receipt showing the time of order to prove how long I had been waiting. It took the lady a few moments before any apology was given. She didn't act with any concern period! This is the WORST McDonald's I have unfortunately encountered anywhere in the country. They remodeled the place and added a second drive-thru but the service is still pathetic. They need TRAINING DESPERATELY. read more
