One-Star Review Very disappointing experience at this McDonald's on NE 48th. I only wanted to purchase a Happy Meal toy by itself, but the employee refused to sell me the toy. She told me that she sells too many Happy Meals and would not sell me the toy. Other McDonald's locations are willing to sell the Happy Meal toy separately, so I don't understand why this location refused. It was frustrating and unnecessary, especially when other locations are willing to accommodate the same request. read more

Posting the holiday hours for anyone who wants to look or see before having to call, I have no complaints about this McDonald's despite it being busy the workers have always been nice to me. It was Saturday night at just after 9pm. The only fast food restaurants open are Taco Bell and McDonalds. No Jimmy John's, or Jersey Mikes. Can someone tell me how this can be allowed? This is my first question. I really didn't feel like bad overpriced fake Mexican food, so I opted for McDonald's. I used the App to snatch a free large fries and a buy one get one for $1 McChicken. Now I got home and I realized that there were probably 10 fries in the carton. Now this might be because the new fry cartons look like they have fries in them even when they don't. I have always wanted to run an experiment to see the quantities given with the small/med/large fry sizes. Now apparently they are resorting to optical illusions to give us less fries. It's Grimace's birthday so I came in to celebrate by ordering the meal. The burger had almost no lettuce and double the sauce. The fries are bad either from old oil or sitting under the heat lamp to long. Complete soaked in oil and poor taste. The shake was good although I'm not sure if it was supposed to be grape or berry, it just tasted sweet and creamy. The change in ordering means that when you enter there is no one who will be coming out to help you unless you raise your voice to get their attention. You order on your phone or at the kiosk and wait for someone to come out from the back. The tables hadn't been cleaned in awhile and the dining area floor looked greasy as well as dirty. read more

Low price means you're paying with something else. Our littlest loves the Happy Meal but you must compromise on food quality, service and so much more. Our order today had two ítems missing, which is ALWAYS the case in ANY location we have visited in the #PNW. Is not like they don't try something. The place was remodeled and they have drawings for the kids to color, they even put them up in a wall so the children feel recognized. Took 25 minutes inside to get food. Had to order myself, the manager said they'd only help employees at the register and they prefer customers use the kiosk. No one came for assistance, even after pressing all the buttons. Machine didn't print receipt. Every customer inside unhappy. Wow...so I know it's McDonalds but wow. I ordered 2 meals. There are 2 sets of people in the place. Well three if you count all the employees at one table. But.. I digress. So the other table has their food. A few minutes after I order, a woman screeches #146. I walk up and she says "Do you want that all on one plate?" I said...no, two. As I told the guy when I ordered. One big breakfast then two egg rounds and bacon on a separate order. "So all on one plate?" No...two plates. One of the employees at the table wags her head saying...I won't do that. It would all be together. Then after I get my meals I have to ask for salt and pepper....I guess noone told them covid restrictions were removed. I also can't get my own drink. As we eat the screeching woman continues to screech at the set of employees about how they don't have enough customers and the store is losing customers. I wonder why when I feel so welcome! Then she screeched about how she is going to Disneyland to work at a McDonalds there...some discussion arose as to how it must be nice to not pay employees or work them more hours but you own a place in Disneyland....nice dig on the owner in front of customers. Good luck going through the drive thru The last 3 times I have come to this McDonalds in the last month I have waited 20-40 minutes in the line. I'm waiting in line as I write this review, it's been 20 minutes and I haven't even reached the "pay here" window. It is ridiculous. The food is not worth the wait. I go to any other McDonald's in the area because the quality is leagues better at the 185th or others in the area. The service doesn't seem to care about the food or service time. They haven't used the secondary window or waiting parking spot. I have places to be. After I waited 15 minutes in front of the pick up window last time, they asked me what was on my burger because they made a mistake. 7 minutes later they finally brought me the food. I don't understand how they can be so incompetent at their job. I have friends who said working at McDonalds was easier than any other job they have had. This McDonald's location is by far the worst in the area. For me, I'd rather drive up to the 185th location that have to come here but unfortunately this is the one that delivers to my house if I order through delivery apps. I was at home today with a teething baby and didn't really want to leave the house. A Big Mac sounded great so I ordered through GrubHub. When my order arrived, the bag looked like it had been through it. I am positive it was the store that did this as it had the grill receipt stuck to the bag sticker instead of the sticker sealing the bag shut. It's 2023, who doesn't seal the bag shut for a delivery order? Upon opening the bag, I found that half the fry carton was empty, there was no straw for my drink and my Big Mac that I ordered without pickles actually had nothing BUT pickles on it. That's right, no sauce, cheese, lettuce.... just bun, two dry ass patties and the most pickles I'd ever seen on a sandwich. Normally I would just suck it up and eat it but there was no saving this. I ended up reordering my meal and the second Big Mac came with a stale bun. It was bordering on a crouton it was so bad. Thankfully between the two burgers I was able to Frankenstein together something edible but come on! I shouldn't have to! Also, since there was a minimum delivery amount needed to get them to deliver I did have to reorder the fries and drink as well and AGAIN half empty fry carton and no straw for the beverage. Not worth it, in the future I will suck it up and drive up to the other McDonald's if I find myself wanting a Big Mac. read more

If I can give this place a zero stars I would! Tonight we waited over 45 minutes. They only helped the drive thru line. Did not acknowledge anyone inside at all. The guy that has green hair aka the manager should be retrained. No customer service skills at all. If you are having customers wait over an hour just for "fast food" make an executive decision to shut something down to catch up. Or let people know the ETA. In all my years of fast food I have NEVER EVER had to wait this long. Truly unacceptable. Just walked out of there without food. Stood at the register and was ignored so went to the automated kiosk. Entered my order and could not figure out how to pay at the end. Came to the counter afterwards to explain why I wasn't in the drive thru line and waited another 5 minutes in line before anyone in the restaurant noticed the line at the front counter. I know that these establishments are independently owned and operated. I don't know who the owner of this particular restaurant is, but your establishment is absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Now, I understand it's McDonald's and fast food, but I'm still spending my hard earned dollar. if there was a "-0" that's the score I would be applying to this particular restaurant. I'd like to say I keep the standard bar set low for fast food restaurants but this location seriously needs new management. The lobby is filthy. Busted catchup packets on the floor and the employee just stepped over them and went back to working behind the counter. Elderly lady is asking for a corporate number because she's been waiting 20 minutes for her order and wants to complain. Lines are backed up because they're operating so slowly.
