OMG...super freaking yummy! I randomly found this spot as it was nearby my hotel that I was staying in Hillsboro. It was about a 5 minute drive. I got the Chorizo Burrito, and it was so delicious! The staff is friendly, and the place looks fun and clean. They provided a container of salsa and gravy plus some package of sour cream with my order. I truly enjoyed my Chorizo Burrito! Came here on a Thursday afternoon after having driven past it so often. The store definitely felt like it was a classic deli with a menu that had specials everyday! I decided to go with their Thursday special, unfortunately for me, the sandwich came too dry and was just not the best. It was large and filling but as I noted before, way too dry. I'm making this two star in deference to the fact that I've only been there once and I modified the order. Otherwise it would be one star. I ordered the reuben and asked for mustard instead of thousand islands. That can sometimes be overly acidic, and if I just didn't like the flavor combo, that would be on me. But the problem was they absolutely drowned the sandwich in mustard. I've been ordering 'mustard instead' for 20 years and have never gotten mustard absolutely slathered on like that before. On both slices, by the way. Hard to choke down, even after wiping off a lot of the mustard. I tried eating the pastrami by itself and found it dry and overly salty even by the standards of pastrami. This would all be bad, but more acceptably bad, from a cheap place. But this was a long wait for a 17 dollar sandwich that was nearly inedible. It wasn't just one badly made sandwich either, because my wife had the exact same problem of 'drowned in mustard.' read more

This place is about 10 minutes from our house and it's so convenient. We love ordering online and grabbing lunch to-go, which I recommend because it's always packed! Be warned, if you order online plan in advance, it's almost always a 45 minute - 1 hour wait to pick it up. It's not a huge deal, but doesn't work if you are wanting to eat immediately. My daughter and I always split the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich because it's huge! It's piled high with pulled pork, coleslaw, onion, pickle, BBQ sauce, brioche bun. Finally got the chance to come here and the vibe, the service, and of course the food were all top notch! Plenty of parking in the parking lot between the cafe and the butcher shop. They do have online ordering if you want to order ahead because they do get busy during lunch time! The flavors and textures and ratio of meat to produce, combine creating a perfectly balanced sandwich that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. While it's a simple sandwich, I believe you can tell the quality of a place by their ability to do the simple things right. And they get it right! The sandwiches come with a bag of chips and a fresh pickle which are they perfect companions. Honestly, as I'm writing this I'm thinking about when to order next! I also love their macaroni and potato salads which are so hearty and flavor packed. Once again these are also all about the meat! The Gouda Mac salad has bacon, ham, black olive, roasted red bell pepper, onion, & macaroni and it's SO good, it's a meal on its own. We attempted to stop by on. Monday and they were closed , I have been trying to check this place out for months. This weekend I was able to stop by. The menu is easy and basic, burgers, sandwiches and sides. I had the Meating right chuck burger. It was loaded with veggies and your usual trimmings, if you like mustard it was covered, which I was very happy about. You can select a side, I chose the potato sales, what a great choice, it was very tasty. You can pick up packets of ketchup, mayo and other sauces. You will get an order number that they call you, you will need to pick it up. The orders take about 20 min to come out but we'll worth the wait. My son had the Reuben, as you can see from the picture it was loaded. The inside is small and casual. Very self serve vibes. The employees were very nice and friendly. It's been a while since I came back here. They have expanded to have a separate dining area and shopping area. The place has more tables to sit and enjoy your meal. It is counter service - order and then go find a place to sit. I ordered the reuben sandwich and a side of the gouda mac salad. The reuben sandwich was amazing, one of the best I've had.
