This is an older style McDonald's that has not yet been updated to the newer and more modern style McDonald's. This location is a throwback to the 90's. It comes with great service and food! I always order ahead in the app and never have to wait for my food. This is my favorite McDonald's and I love the older look this restaurant still has. My only gripe is the parking lot has huge potholes all over, maybe time for a parking lot upgrade McD's? read more

Had ordered food via app and went to pick up food via drive thru. On arrival (@9:38), staff at window stated they closed store early at 9pm despite operational hours stating location closes at 11pm. They told us they could not make our food and we should try to cancel order on app. They app would not let us cancel as it said food was already being processed and we had already been charged. I feel a bit ridiculous reviewing a McDonald's, but I've been so skewed from experiencing all bad fast food places from living in Philly for 4 years, that I have to rate how great this McD's has been the past two times I've been there (post-renovation). The fries have been hot and fresh, chicken nuggets and cheeseburger have been the best according to McD's standards, and even the ice cream machine was working when I ordered an Oreo McFlurry last time! The newly renovated store is not what I expected. It's smaller inside. Most staffs are speaking Spanish and act they could care less when they see people waiting to order. I came again for drive through to order a big meal. The staff didn't even ask what drink I want and told me the price. I would have to tell him what I want to put in the order. This staff is definitely not well trained. I'm disappointed. Would not really come here if I don't have to. Go to the Manville location, people are nicer and more professional. read more

This location $pent months upgrading this location with two drive thru spots, more outside parking and kiosk ordering inside. However it's now run with incompetent staff, orders are wrong, kiosks are broken, total disorder on multiple occasions attempting to get food there. It was 100% better before these "upgrades". I don't know what the problem is with this particular location, but whatever the current deal is that is advertised they do not participate in it. Even if you call ahead of time and ask if they honor the deal and they say yes and then you ask if you need to use the app in order to order for it to be honored and they say no, when you get there, you find out they lied. Customer service is as small as the amount of fries they put in the "Large" container. Went there tonight purchased 2 for $6 fish filet sandwiches, 2 strawberry pies and a Large fries. Went home to find sandwiches that looked like they were thrown in the box, 1 dry strawberry pie and a handful of cold fries in a Large box. There was young children working who clearly didn't care or even know what they were doing. I did express I was missing pies and was told I had to go back around instead of them handing me my pie I ordered then proceeded to close window in my face. I just drove off because they were rude and I refuse to argue with children when I'm a mother myself. The employee's are RUDE, I went in with a service dog and was told that no animals were allowed. Now I have all my identification, including a purple vest that states service dog in big letters. While calling the Owner of the Mcdonald's he was also Rude and and this Mcdonald's is not worth visisting. They have signs on every door stating that service animals ARE allowed but the Manager and the employees were talking about us in english and spanish about us. Before I start bad mouthing the staff at this store I should say I have been here numerous times before without any problem. However , the new Mexican and Indian immigrant staff is the absolute worst & shouldn't be employed. I wouldn't even be so angry if the staff didn't start gaslighting and trying to blame me to save face. I attempted to purchase a large fries from the McDonalds app and as you can see it says very specifically on the app the staff should ask for coupon code before the customer ever gets to the payment window. When I attempted to give the promotion code to them when ordering at drive thru, the lady told me to give them the code at the payment window which according to the app is incorrect procedure as it is. When I got to the payment window there was this Indian guy who barely understood English who took my order, and because he appeared to not understand English , I specifiically asked him twice if he had taken my app coupon. He clearly didn't understand but nodded his head twice to save face and then charged me full price. When I complained some Mexican lady came over ( who probably took my order at drive thru and should've known I'd already tried to give coupon code at least once at the drive thru. Mexican lady their trying to gaslight and say you have to give them the code as if it was my fault & refused to refund until I started screaming that I'd tried to give the code 3 times total! As you can see by the app pic, it never should've even come to that, it should've been taken at drive thru. These types shouldn't even be employed, a mistake is fine by me but gaslighting and trying to save face when it's pretty obvious they weren't following procedure is too much. We stopped here in the way to a wedding in north jersey. With a car containing 4 other people who were all girls, a bathroom break was much needed. The restrooms were clean, so already that's a plus. We were pleasantly surprised with free small cups of coffee as well! The staff was super friendly even though we only got free coffees, and they just kept smiling. One of crew ended up getting sausage mcgriddles which was eventually shared by the whole car and everyone enjoyed it. Enjoy! read more

I used to fequent this McDonalds when a friend of mine lived in Hillsborough and then when my lady and I resided in Plainsboro,NJ we stopped at this McDonalds after a Somerset Patriots baseball game(in 2013 on occasion)since they had the 49 cent cone special... It was an obvious high school dropout and I called to get this man fired but they told me if I didn't like it to get out of the kitchen. I'm not quite sure how to respond to that. I tend to avoid fast food stops, but sometimes they're the only option when you're starving and in a huge hurry. That being said--Strike 1: Cashier didn't speak English. I'm kind of getting used to this, but still very frustrating and should never be the case. Strike 2: Cashier was unclear on what exactly a snack wrap was. Annoying, but I explained and she placed the order. Strike 3: I specifically requested chicken to be grilled, said it twice, and she confirmed she understood. After all, she did ask the question of whether I wanted grilled or crispy. Needless to say, my wrap contained crispy chicken, and that was the only item I ordered. I usually like stopping at McDonalds as a treat every so often. Being tight on time as usual, I thought I could turn to McDonald's, and get a quick treat and be out. I went through the Drive through, and ordered a Strawberry shake and a Chocolate shake, (the chocolate shake was for my mother), and pulled up to the window, to get my food. From here, we see the terrible. Customer service. The woman at the drive through saw us, and aggravated told us to "just move up to the reserved Drive through parking. We waited there for a solid 10 minutes, and another woman brought us a burger and fries. She walked away. And we called her back to tell her that she had gave us the wrong order. She came back, and yanked it out of my mom's hand, and went back inside. This happened 2 more times, until I got out of my car, and went inside. I told the worker what had happened, and mid sentence she cut me off and had me talk to the manager. The manager walked away while I was still talking, made the two shakes, and shoved them in my face. As I walked out, I heared the employees bad mouthing me and my poor mother, right in front of me. This is an absolute disgrace, and I believe the manager, and everyone else who "helped" us should be fired, or at least recieved disciplinary actions. read more

Although the decoration looks like the time when my dad grew up in the 80's this is still a great restaurant, service is quick and staff is friendly and I get my food super quick, friends and I hangout here many times and never have had a bad experience! The breakfast here is good. It's always fresh and hot, and the hashbrowns are always crisp. I never have to sit in line and wait here, the drive through is fast. The thing that I really like though is the customer service. Everyone there is so friendly... they come off that they're happy to be there. I am not normally one to complain. I worked in food service for years, and understand that sometimes people make mistakes. This McDonald's location is utterly horrible, however. Unless you are there at a downtime, they make mistakes more often than not. If you order chicken nuggets or tenders, they never have enough, and you have to leave the drive-thru and wait in a waiting spot. I don't mind waiting if it means fresher food. I do mind waiting, however, when after you wait, sometimes as much as 6-7 minutes, and then get back home to find out that the order is wrong. Or items are missing. Or, horribly, half of your 20 piece McNuggets is hot and fresh, and the other half cool and rubbery, as they obviously split the batches. It is very frustrating to get home, find there are missing items, or sub par items, and being left with the choice of having to go back, or suck it up and have items you paid for either missing, or barely edible. The employees are always very courteous and fix these problems quickly, but these experiences should be a rare anomaly, not routine. If it looks busy, go inside or don't go at all. Always thoroughly check your bags. I would stop going, but the next nearest McDonald's is too far away to get home with hot food. read more

It was 4AM on a cold Tuesday in February. My buddies and I had just hit the local pool hall, and were scoping out the local burger joints. Though there was a significant lack of options, the glorious golden arches of McDonald's eventually pulled us in. We opted for the drive through option, and our Ford Pinto glided smoothly towards the large menu. My eyes were drawn to the luminescent glow on each of the items, and indecision filled me. After 10 or so minutes of hard contemplation, we chose 5 bacon cheeseburgers, and a varied selection of fries and shakes. We were met by an obvious Spanish speaker! This was a pleasant surprise, as my compadres and I hail from the glorious province of Puerto rico. Back home nothing is as clean and healthy as the exquisite cuisine offered at this "McDonald's" Given the opportunity I plan to write to McDonald himself, praising him for establishing this shrine to fine dining.
