    Chicken quesadilla

Great dinner in the Franklin park/Kendall park area. Nice cozy and traditional setting inside. Good place to get some work done. Good was impressive compared to other dinners. The chicken quesadilla was delicious and very filling. They give you good portion sizes for what you order.

I went back to Franklin Park Diner today and got my usual (and absolutely scrumptious) Disco Fries with a twist - extra cheese, which was absolutely to die for! I also decided to try another one of the delicious desserts behind the glass display case -- this time, I opted for a generous slice of their coconut pie. Let me tell you, it was creamy, thick, sumptuous and absolutely did not disappoint in any way! I can't wait to try more desserts!

THE BEST DINER!!! I absolutely love their western omelette. Their sausage side is probably the best sausage i've had at a diner. Their pricing is great as well. Their service is phenomenal and welcoming it. At first this dinner doesn't seem like much by looks and appearance, but inside it's a perfect little diner.

Always a great diner in the area. As with any diner, there are a lot of hidden gems. The pasta dishes always come as a huge portion. The penne vodka could easily be split into 4 portions.

    Buffalo chicken hoagie

That was absolutely terrible, calling it prison food would do a disservice to prison food. Had a Buffalo hoagie which came with 4 fake chicken tenders, a smear of buffalo sauce and borderline rotten lettuce. I paid 16 dollars for this sandwich which isn't even worth 25 cents. I don't know how anyone can serve this and not be embarrassed. I literally have to order a second dinner because it was inedible. Partner ordered a California panini which was thrown out after three bites. Stay far away, if they can't make two sandwiches right I doubt they can do anything right.

Breakfast was delicious, although ser ice took a while. It was busy that morning and the server was zipping around tables like bees.

Overpriced for no reason. The waiters are nice and amazing but the cost of it isn't worth it. Rather would go to Stewart's

Not actually has a full size bar, indoor dining area, and an outdoor patio. This is a slight variation from a traditional chicken Parmesan entrée. The cutlet was prepared differently. The edges were pounded thin and had a crispy texture. The center of the cutlet was thick and chewier. Hidden beneath the cutlet was house made spinach linguine. It's different from typical pasta, but it has an acquired earthy taste. The appearance of the vodka sauce isn't the most appealing, but it tastes a lot better than it looks. The sauce was thick and creamy and had chunks of tomato. I highly recommend requesting an additional cup of sauce for full flavor. Overall, I enjoyed this plate. The minor drawback was we arrived while our server was ending his shift during our meal. We were assigned another server and it lead to miscommunication. #stagehousetavern #chickenparmreview #parmesancrustedchickenbreast

The restaurant was not yet crowded, yet my husband and I were put essentially in an "alcove" seating area away from the main dining room. Absolutely no ambiance, right next to the beverage area where the servers gather and also where the high chairs and booster seats were stored. When I noted my displeasure, I was met with, "Sorry, we're really busy today and we can't seat you elsewhere." There were many other empty tables in the main dining room and also empty hightop tables in the bar area. The buffet food was overcooked and cold. The coffee tasted like it was made last night. Total of our bill was $157.00 (and we paid an additional 3% on top of this for credit card). Yes, we knew what it was a head, but they also added an automatic 20% tip and the bill still suggested that we give our server a tip, who we had to follow up with for another cup of coffee, milk and water. Extremely disappointed. We won't be coming back here for a holiday meal.

You can sit at tables or the large bar, we chose the former. The service was very good, accommodating and friendly. The food was nicely executed. My lamb shank was tender and tasty. I sampled the steak and thought it was nicely cooked, loaded with flavor and also very tender. The brie was tasty, and didn't seem to heavy, which was surprising as it was deep fried. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular here.

If you're not going to read to understand then this review ain't for you…read more I've been to the new Freddy's 4 times and I've waited to review it until I could figure out what was needling me. I got it. I used to pass the one in Linden and was psyched to see one finally make it down our way. Me and hus went soon after they opened and got a burger fries chicken and onion rings. During the initial days they served these matchstick potato sticks. HATED IT. Food was OK but not great. No biggie - it was new. Went back on my own to try the lemon custard one night. My acid reflux said NO MAAM so I got to enjoy it going down - and coming back up. It was good though lol. Me and hus went back a few months later - almost same order as before. Dang near $35. Mind you we coulda gone 2 miles down the road to Chilis or across the street to Shake Shack for the same price and better food. Last week I got a message that it was "national steak burger day." Lmaaoooo I love when niche restaurants and hobbyists make their own day. To celebrate, their burgers were only $1. This was actually the motivation I needed to break through the massive 4ft snow and ice mound township contractors placed at the foot of our driveway. 2 hours later I'm at Freddy's getting a double burger for $1. I finally cracked the code!! Freddys is good - it's just overpriced. And I'm saying that with love. Fast food in general is horrifically priced right now but I felt this way a year, year and a half ago about Freddy's. If the price point was $3 lower for a combo the juice would be worth the squeeze. I realize this may not be possible - please place your pitchforks down. Pros: The restaurant is always sparkling clean Friendly employees Fast and efficient pick up Food is good immediately and after a 20 minute drive home Amazing rewards - USE THE APP for savings. Verdict: the food has improved greatly since the early days. The concept is classic culinary Americana - burgers and shakes. It's just too much money for what you get. I'd go back as lit. As I can leverage my app rewards. Can't do it at full price.

I wanted to visit this place a few times before writing the review…read more On my first visit I ordered their famous Prime Rib Steakburger which was really good. On my second visit I got the California Style burger and the moment I took a huge bite, I knew it would be my go-to. I kid you not, it reminds of In-N-Out Burger. This is as close as it gets for us East Coast folks. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and the orange sauce is what does it for me. It's very similar to In-N-Out's secret sauce. The only gripe I have is that I wish they give you an option to order a single patty. Sometimes a double patty is too much for a tiny gal like me. I also can't resist their shoestring fries and onion rings. Fries are seasoned perfectly and the batter on the rings are nice and golden. The 4-5 star reviews speak for itself. I have yet to try their shakes only because I am lactose intolerant but it sure looks yummy. Service is nice!
