I thought to update my review of their drive through service since it's been a little over a year since I've been there. While out doing multiple errands we were hungry for a cheeseburger and decided to give McDonald's another go. We ordered their McDoubles from their value menu and was SHOCKED to see a huge increase in price. They use to cost a dollar now their up to $2.79 each. We always ask for mayo added to our cheeseburgers which they were happy to customize. Unfortunately the mayo we requested was mostly on the outside of the sandwich , slapped on in haste making it very unappealing looking and extremely difficult to eat on the go. I understand that the fast food that we purchase looks nothing like the pictures we see on commercials and ads BUT whatever happened to pride in workmanship and the product that you serve to your customers? It seems to me that this McDonald's is more concerned about getting people in and out and not about how their food looks. What a shame, you can be efficient and care about putting together sandwiches that are appealing to the eye. Do better McDonald's - do better!!! read more

I have visited this location on three o occasions at different times of the day. My order was never right but tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. I was going to meet with a client and had an extra 30 minutes to spare to pick up dinner, so i pulled into this McDonald's. BIG MISTAKE, not only did it take 40 minutes thur drive thru due to the fact that the line was not moving, the poor manager was unloading a food truck, Had to stop what she was doing to come ask why wasn't the drive thru line moving. I spoke to her from the window and told her that on my part it was because 6 times I had to hand my order back to them because they could not understand what " 2 Qaurter Pounders made like a Big Mac" meant. The manager asked me to please come in. I pulled around, came in and waited for 15 minutes more before I was handed my order and assured by the manager that my order was corrected. Another BIG MISTAKE, I got down the road to meet up with my client and we had a very rude awakening to 2 double Quarter Pounders with nothing but two patties and a piece of cheese. Unbelievable! I'd give it a zero if I could, went in and manager had a seizure which I didn't care too much about waiting but then when another manager came in to take over the dude was a complete dumbfuck, constantly telling me he just got here like he just woke up from a dementia nap, he then proceeded to take my phone because he couldn't remember the code or the order I told him multiple times, and then got my order wrong, will not be coming back ever, complete idiots. read more

The night shift is horrible;all they do is talk and mess around. Really doesn't seem like there is order and supervision going on. When getting drinks they tried giving me a half filled cup and when I asked the employee to fill it they took another cup and poured it into mine. Never again! Had I read the reviews on this McDonalds, the new one in Homosassa on Suncoast Dr and Rt 19 we never would have stopped there. My granddaughter ordered the chicken sandwich and they burnt the bun! Why did they send this sandwich out the window? We called the store and was told they would make a new one, "damn skippy" you will. We were told pull up to the second window and we'll give you another. Little did I know they meant another of the same! So we pulled around to the second window as instructed and I'm sure we created a new batch of Karens as we could see faces as we, "cut" in line. We waited and waited. They filled all the orders behind us first!Why couldn't they have thrown a chicken patty into the fryer while filling in-coming orders? I guess that was above their pay grade. Anyway we waited a long time and with no apology! When we received the sandwich, you guessed it that bun was burnt also! My daughter hates confrontation so I didn't pursue it any further. They were lucky she was in the car I would have been their worse nightmare. I will return ALONE and see what the hell is going on in this store. They took my card and refused to give it back to me right there saying they will bring it out to me. It's a McDonald's. What else is there to say! 99.9% of the population has been in a McDonalds and this one is no different. I am giving them a low score because I am sick of all McDonalds not having clean bathrooms. I want to puke after I eat and have to go to​ the bathroom. It smells like nasty lady parts that have not been washed. They have taken all the paper towels away and have chosen​ not to provide you with​ the seat protectors. I have to stand there with a full bladder pulling toilet​paper off the roll to place on the toilet​ seat. People are total and disgusting​ pigs when they use public restrooms. They pee in the seat and leave poop on the toilet and paper all over. WHY???? Has anyone looks at how Japan takes care of their public restrooms. I don't understand the poor reviews. I live here (in Homosassa) and have never seen it dirty. Yes, they have been slammed and I've had to wait a little more than usual but that can happen with any fast food place. What I don't get is that guy who complained about the kiosks (John K. that's what they're called not a "do it yourself machine"). Sounded like this MacDonald's was the ONLY place to have it. If you're not device-inclined, the staff is happy to help you place your order. And Jake S. how can your lips burn on cold food???? Seriously. Please take those negative comments with a grain of salt. And Carlos C. I've never had a cash register down. Makes me really wonder if those people have actually BEEN at this MacDonalds.
