My very messy McDouble I forgot to take a picture until after I swiped the excess mayo off the wrapper!

I thought to update my review of their drive through service since it's been a little over a year since I've been there. While out doing multiple errands we were hungry for a cheeseburger and decided to give McDonald's another go. We ordered their McDoubles from their value menu and was SHOCKED to see a huge increase in price. They use to cost a dollar now their up to $2.79 each. We always ask for mayo added to our cheeseburgers which they were happy to customize. Unfortunately the mayo we requested was mostly on the outside of the sandwich , slapped on in haste making it very unappealing looking and extremely difficult to eat on the go. I understand that the fast food that we purchase looks nothing like the pictures we see on commercials and ads BUT whatever happened to pride in workmanship and the product that you serve to your customers? It seems to me that this McDonald's is more concerned about getting people in and out and not about how their food looks. What a shame, you can be efficient and care about putting together sandwiches that are appealing to the eye. Do better McDonald's - do better!!!

Never again. Had I read the reviews on this McDonalds, the new one in Homosassa on Suncoast Dr and Rt 19. We ordered the chicken sandwich.

Never again! Had I read the reviews on this McDonalds, the new one in Homosassa on Suncoast Dr and Rt 19 we never would have stopped there. My granddaughter ordered the chicken sandwich and they burnt the bun! Why did they send this sandwich out the window? We called the store and was told they would make a new one, "damn skippy" you will. We were told pull up to the second window and we'll give you another. Little did I know they meant another of the same! So we pulled around to the second window as instructed and I'm sure we created a new batch of Karens as we could see faces as we, "cut" in line. We waited and waited. They filled all the orders behind us first! Why couldn't they have thrown a chicken patty into the fryer while filling in-coming orders? I guess that was above their pay grade. Anyway we waited a long time and with no apology! When we received the sandwich, you guessed it that bun was burnt also! My daughter hates confrontation so I didn't pursue it any further. They were lucky she was in the car I would have been their worse nightmare. I will return ALONE and see what the hell is going on in this store. Warning to anyone willing to eat the garbage McDonalds sells, their food is not for human consumption. That's a word to the wise. I NEVER eat at McDonalds I was with a family group.

Nice restaurant, foods typical McDonalds but they are understaffed and to say they are extremely slow is an understatement.

Outside remains the same with limited seating but we prefer eating inside. Even though it was busy we found a table right away. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders and left us to look over their menu per our request. The guys were very interested in one of their breakfast specials and ended up ordering it. Called a Tot Bowl the dish had tater tots, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and onion and American Cheese with Sausage Gravy and two eggs. Two pieces of toast of your choice is included - both chose Rye toast which they loved. Only difference between the two plates were how their eggs were cooked. My Hubby loves over easy eggs while my brother prefers scrambled. They both stated that they loved their breakfast with my brother commenting next time he visits he would love to go to Kim's again. I of course chose something different. I had a bowl of their Stone Ground Grits with two scrambled eggs and ham on rye toast. Both the grits and the breakfast sandwich were delicious and filled me up. The guys are hoping next time we go the Tot Bowl special will be available. A great, friendly, affordable, cozy breakfast diner!

The gravy may have come from a can. I am unaware as I was not in the kitchen cooking, but it was just not a good meal at all. I'm sorry I spent the money to build my own skillet for disappointment.

His collection is amazing. You can walk around and see the collection while you wait. The owner is so friendly and is a big blues guy. He brings the Cuban bread from Tampa. The meat is delicious and cooked with lots of flavor. My wife got the Spanish bean soup. It was very good. This is a small home style restaurant you must try. They even have real deviled crabs. Fresh, hot, yet soft crispy bread - the way a Cuban is to be! I also got the Devil crab and a side of collards. It was all great! One of the best part is the owner, Mr. Jim Anderson himself shares all his family treasures, lifestyle, music, and stories with guest. The decor in the restaurant is musician heaven with different instruments and artifacts - very jazzy/blues feel. Come to find out from the very informative lady working, that Saturday afternoons they have live acoustic music from one of the band members?!? I need more info tooooo- ! I was there on my lunch break, so I need to go back to update more photos and hidden gem stories I just know this man has! This is the kind of history I love and cafes I want to keep around!! He also does tours and will walk you through his shop, which from the outside looks small but there's a whole area you didn't even know exist, with I believe, every machine that helped develop the history of printed production. Kinda cool! Very Personal and Real Education on REAL history!
