Unfortunately this was our first time and will be our last.the reviews on this place are good so we gave it a try.we ordered bacon cheese fries as an appetizer and they were good.after eating half the order I move the basket and there was a dead upside beetle under the basket. We stopped by for breakfast before heading to Weeki Wachee state park. Service was great, the ladies were very friendly. Decor is interesting - a ton of Christmas lights. Breakfast was ok. We had Pops special - eggs, bacon, tater tots and toast. Tater tots were very salty. read more

Let's see... reviews. Well, if you are looking to go out and drink and hear a band, it's the perfect spot. If you are looking to eat here, then drink more. Good " tavern food". Bland at best and great if you've been drinking. Be prepared to seat yourself, look for a menu and hunt down a server. I had better service at Culver's. With each passing beer the band sounds better. We've been coming here for years..stopped in today for our favorite wings to find they are .75 special. Had my mother there for the first time, and my husband. We each ordered 10..I ate 6.. none of us finished them so we ask for a box. He tells us $5 per box! my mother said no box.. she walked out with hers wrapped in the paper from the basket. My husband & I paid for a box and combined our total of 7 wings. He explained that people come in and abuse the deal.. they buy 40 wings..eat 10 and take the rest home in boxes. To avoid this happening they charge EVERYONE $5 for wanting a to go box. Exorbitant for sure! We had beers, and fries.. and we weren't abusing the deal. Infuriating.. but we were not angry at the server. We have been regulars there for 10 years... We stop here for music on the weekends. The food is always consistently good. The wings are great. Many flavors and well cooked. The shrimp are fresh and tender. The BLT is very good. The food was the reason I went , the service was good and the server was great. This restaurant/bar is what old Florida is all about.

Dee was our waitress and she was cheerful and attentive. We were in Crystal River then to Homossassas State Park where the park ranger suggested this place. Typical bar decor and food done well. French fries were really crispy and burger was perfectly messy. Looks like it would be a fun place for drinks and karaoke. Our order was wrong twice, but just ate it the second time. We ate at the bar and the server was extremely busy for their ability. This rushing and not getting things correct. The sweet and spicy garlic shrimp are amazing and they have the best wings in town. Always great service especially when Sam is on she is right on it every time. I think three different waitresses came over through the night but each one took forever to come over and all three were miserable and rude.
