I just went to the Honesdale Pa McDonald's and ordered 3 of the McArch limited time burger and I am not impressed.... There's only 2 sizes M & L. The "special sauce" tasted sour and there was no crunchy onions except the ones that were in the container.... It's not worth the hype or money... Bought a mcdouble meal. Last time. Burger was cold dry no ketchup or pickles. Fries were tepid at best and the mcnuggets were also dry and needed to be warmed up. That's what I get for using the drive thru. read more

Drive through service terrible. The girl couldn't hear me, even though I was shouting. After the 4th or 5th "What?" I asked her "what are you, at a rock concert?" She heard that just fine and then told me she wasn't going to take my order. Okay. I probably shouldn't be eating here anyways. Thanks for making that decision easier. The staff and managers are only nice to certain people. I see people walking into the store to argue with a manager about missing items they didn't get with their order from the drive thru. A manager will make like nothing is missing and continuously go back and forth wirh the customer. The staff dont treat many of their delivery people very nice either. There is a manger there that parks in a handicap reserved parking spot and will leave her car there for several hours while she's working. This is UNACCEPTABLE!! It takes a spot away from customers who need a handicap reserved parking spot. Also, whoever designed that place needs help! They put the handicap reserved parking spots further down away from the door instead of closer to the door. That makes no sense. The whole place is a mess. I have seen people get up and walk out, leaving their garbage on the tables and some on the floor. The bathrooms are atrocious!! The staff need an attitude adjustment and need to get to work making people clean up after themselves instead of being pigs. Some of the staff themselves act like pigs with the way they act. They act like they are better than others for whatever reason. read more

Great food like others are saying. They really forgot about the cash register though, sometimes they have me standing there for 5 minutes, but when they do get to you, they're pretty friendly. Ambience is ok, I miss the old one though why does everything have to be so bright and minimalist. read more

One star got there and good prices on food, the employees were nice. But when I got my food, it was half eaten.

Employees need to be better trained. Don't say "go to the second window", say "go to window #1". And when a car pulls to the window, every single fast food place except here immediately takes payment and then prepares the order, not the other way around. When you pull to the window and all you see is a guy with his back turned for 20 seconds and then you pull to the window with a 2 above it, only to realize you're at the wrong window and won't be getting your food after waiting for 15 minutes in the drive through, it's pretty frustrating. Very poorly run McDonald's. read more

We were in a hurry and needed to get our Grandson home . Went through the Drive thru. I timed the wait .. 15 minutes but when they opened the window to hand us the food .. No food . Asked us to pull up and wait cause it wasn't ready . Total wait time ? 21 minutes.. I realize they can sell more food by having 2 drive trough lanes but will lose customers because of the wait time. We just moved here and will be stopping at Wendys instead when we need to get a fast food burger. read more

I paid $8 to medium size a Big Mac meal to go. When I looked in the bag the fries didn't even reach the top of the of the container. I didn't see this till I was down the road. Never again, Mickey D's you lost a good customer. I know you don't really care. read more

Not yet ready for prime time. A bit chaotic and where is the additional seating? For a redesigned McDonald's it lacks some smart upgrade choices, nothing to be said for a better soda delivery system with more choices, like the one in Mount Poconos? Not much seating options, it seems that much of the building's square footage is actually in the kitchen, the drive-through is more elaborate it seems. This event was good for children with a petting zoo, and hayrides and a school band, and I will say the charitable donations to good causes are appreciated by the community. But what happened to some thoughtful architectural layout. Also if there were giveaways and promotions, I did not see them. We ordered twice and were not given anything in way of something special. I'd even say some of the items seemed inferior to meals I had at the Hamlin, PA McDonald's in months past. Not sure what is the excitement. McRipoff. The contemporary design looks like a Starbucks trying to be a McDonald's an adult depressing McDonald's. I get it you have McCafe items, great, try not making us all diabetic with the liquid sugar tricks. read more

New building. Open 2 weeks I think. No McRib yet it's on the drive thru screen. Got chicken nuggets today that were absolutely disgusting. They were dry and discolored. Possibly freezer burned? And my coke was flat. Unreal the quality is already this bad. read more

It is a shame that this brand new location is such a mess after 2 weeks. Kitchen is already disgusting, kids running the place, kitchen staff sneezing over the food, out of soda, floors a mess, people walking out. Brand new gone trashy within weeks. Get some professional workers that are clean and know how to run a world famous McDonalds. Total disappointment. We walked out, wouldn't eat in filth and will not be back. Looks like that for others as most are walking out. Total shame and filthy already. Whoever the franchise owner is should spend more time ensuring the quality of the staff. read more
