The location is clean, open and very large. The menu is diverse, to the point where they can't be great at anything. That was our experience. The burger was ok. The Reuben was ok. The wings were ok. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and kept the mood light despite some chaos. My son's order went rogue twice, and the bill didn't match what we actually ate. Honestly, it seemed like no one was really in charge in the kitchen or at the register, and I just can't go back to that level of confusion. I ordered the chicken ciabatta sandwich, which had plenty of length and width... but no height. I mostly ended up eating a vegan bread sandwich with very little chicken. Save the chickens! Even with the mix-ups, our server handled everything with a smile. We'll remember the laughs and great attitude, but the multiple food errors and billing issues make it hard to return. read more

Great service and lots of surprisingly good choices, from "plain" to fancy!! I wasn't super hungry, so decided to skip the entrees (lots to choose from: surf, turf, veg, etc...) and chose soup (excellent KICKING corn chowder!!) and the turkey brie melt (switched from a sandwich to a wrap). Great food, tasty cocktails (try the cinnamon mule... YUM!!) friendly, attentive service... Also a great patio for warmer weather, hope to check it out next time I'm in the area!! read more

I have eaten here twice with a group of women friends. They do a fantastic job of serving a group. I have enjoyed my lunch both times I've eaten here. I had the Mediterranean Salad special off the day this time. I was unsure about the Tzatziki Sauce dressing because it looked like mayonnaise, but it was delicious. What a great surprise we stumbled on. Been coming to Woodloch for years and wanted to explore beyond honesdale a bit and this place was a gem ! Service was excellent. One of the most attentive, thorough, and friendly we've come across in a long time. We went for lunch and it was a great menu. Got apps like wings, onion rings, and truffle fries - granted it's pub food - but it was damn good pub food. The onion rings were perfectly light and the wings meaty and crispy. Entres were great with a burger and a Ruben and sweet potatoes fries. And the price was reasonable for everything we got. Will DEFINITELY be coming back there for dinner. read more

In the past I would go out of my way to go here - while the food is still good the willingness to be flexible is gone even for the most minor menu adjustment -- so can only recommend if you like EXACTLY what they serve and are not looking for "adult beverage" (previously they had something for everyone's price range in the past). I had both breakfast & dinner at Tick Tocks recently and had a great time. I heard they either renovated, have new ownership, or both - and I'm liking the vibe. They also had multiple vegetarian options and can I just say the tofu was surprisingly amazing?!!! When you enter the front door, there is immediately a split where you can enter the bar area on the left or the restaurant tables on the right. I really appreciate this as it keeps the restaurant side a bit quieter and gives the bar its own designated space. The inside has a basic feel as opposed to trendy, but it's clean and does the job. One of my visits was with a larger group (8 people) and the restaurant was able to partially slide out a back partition, which was perfect to not fully "close us off" but still give us a bit of privacy. Definitely call in advance if you want to request that! read more

Excellent food and great service. Decided to stop in for an early dinner. We ordered a couple glasses of wine, the Cheese Curds for an appetizer and the NY Strip Steak, kids menu chicken tenders and a Daily Special that was a NY Strip Steak with a Mushroom Marsala sauce. After a fairly long wait our cheese curds and bread basket were delivered. The cheese curds were outstanding. The breading on them was very good. The seasoned oil served with the bread was also delicious. Our entrees came with a soup or salad. We chose one cup of soup and one salad. The only bad part about this dinner was they brought out our dinners without ever bringing the soup and salads. They apologized repeatedly and gave us a drink on the house which was very nice of them. The steaks served with baked potatoes and green beans. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. The potatoes and beans were also delicious. The Mushroom Marsala sauce on the special was outstanding. The chicken fingers were also very good. Even with the mistakes forgetting our soup and salad I would still highly recommend this restaurant. This is some of the best food you can get in the area. read more

We stopped here for a beautiful Sunday brunch on their deck. They have a beautiful establishment with a friendly host and waitstaff. There is ample seating inside and out. Nice bar too! Really enjoyed the breakfast tacos that I opted to get tofu instead of chorizo. I was delish. My husband had the chicken and waffles. Black and brass local coffee was a plus. Very clean and delicious food! We ate hamburgers, chicken fingers, and pasta with butter, along with appetizers. We even had a picky eater with us who said that was one of the best burgers he ever had! Highly recommend. I hope it's not this way every time. We found the food to be mediocre to bad. The French onion soup was good but the fries, yuck. The burger was not good. The truffle fries were a joke. Chicken tenders for the kids were shriveled up a little dried out pieces of chicken. The waitress we had seemed lost. This place has been under new management for quite sometime now, definitely much improved from before. They have 3 dining areas: bar, main dining and outside as well. Good selection of foods and drinks offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the shrimp po boy sandwich, although not a lot of shrimp, they were pretty decent sized shrimp and very tasty . The salmon was also tasty. I definitely recommend this place for someone looking for straight forward menu, nothing complicated and tasty food. Corn chowder ( very small cup for the price) and a rice noodle bowl( also a little simple, needed more vegetables). Going to cut right to the chase. Attended an event there this week that had a buffet. My wife and I noticed when we drank our iced tea and our coke that the lemon slice on the glass smelled like onions. The buffet food was tepid at best. Next morning my 4 year old had food poisoning. By the evening my wife and I had the worst food poisoning we have ever had. 72 hours later we are still recovering. Draw your own conclusions. read more
