Was in the area for an early morning appointment at the hospital and decided to come to Lena's for breakfast. We ordered French toast and meat lovers omelette. We enjoyed are food for sure. My omelette was amazing! The eggs were so fresh and creamy. When I'm back in area I will stop back in for breakfast again.

STAN CAFÉ is now Marlina's CAFÉ and she didn't disappoint. Best breakfast , lunch in town. Hands down!!

Corned beef with home fries, and 2 eggs, with white toast. French toast belt buster omelet.

Great food at a very low price, service was great, plenty of parking and the place is located right off route 6. Older crowd which meant great atmosphere.

What a place! From the outside it doesn't look like much but it has lots of seating inside and a friendly staff. And the food ..... it was great. Sausage gravy and biscuits - was delicious. There was plenty of gravy and tender biscuits. The pancakes were HUGE. I had the breakfast club #4 - 2 eggs cooked just as I like them, bacon that while thin was prepared perfectly, and 2 pancakes. You really only need one. The pancakes were delicious- not too thin, had a good body and yet weren't tough. The coffee was delightful. Sometimes it is hard to find good coffee, but this is good. A local roaster from Honesdale. Always nice to support local business.

Good prices, great homemade corn beef hash. Omelettes made with fresh vegetables. Friendly waitresses. My only complaint,if you could call it that is the menu is slightly limited. No eggs Benedict, no breakfast burritos or quesadillas, no waffles . All in all a nice place with good food.

Meat lovers omelette or something like that with extra sausage

We love this place! The portion is so big... We ordered omelette for meat lovers or something like that and 3 adults could eat that and that was enough. The food is also simple but tasty. Whenever we come to beach lake, we eat here.

The food and service is not what it used to be. Newer owner food is ok at best anymore.

I was so impressed by the portions and HIGH quality of food. All of my food was PIPING HOT and we were a table of 5. Our waitress was a PRO, super efficient, so knowledgeable of the menu and EXTREMELY accommodating. I live 2 hours away and I will make special trip here just to bring friends because I'm that confident in the product. My goodness. Ambiance is friendly, plenty of comfortable seating and nostalgia. I need excuses to come back. Before I left I took the rest of my pizza home, order soup and cheesecake to go. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. The pizza dough must have been made with a grandmas fingers. She didn't visit our table but once to check on us, and then took forever to return with coffee. The food was not good. My father's link sausage was overcooked and was dry and tough. The muffin on my Benedict was so hard/tough that I had to use a steak knife to cut it. Lastly, the place was so cold we had to move tables. Don't sit to the right or bring a jacket.

We ordered the blueberry double-stacked pancakes (which the waitress sweetly put a smiley face on), a side of bacon, and a few omelettes- with bacon and cheese and another with sausage. Both came with home fries. Everything was hot, filling, and exactly what you want from a classic diner breakfast. The bacon was a standout! crispy and delicious (had to order an extra side). Coffee for the grown-ups and a hot cocoa rounded things out perfectly. Friendly service, comforting food, and those little touches like the smiley face on the pancakes made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. A great spot for a relaxed breakfast.

When you're here you know what you're going to get out of the establishment. We were given seats at the bar promptly, we were served water early and were asked for our orders at a timely manner. Everyone behind the counter was helpful to us. As I admired their work it was easy to see how Tilly's has remained a local favorite. The continuous boots on the ground - foot traffic of bussing tables, serving food, taking orders - was all calculated chaos. At the heart of it all was the food that came at a reasonable time and the conversations you had with local neighbors and customers who sat near you. The French toast was delicious, not too sweet but the syrup was aplenty. The omelette was seasoned well, packed with flavor. However the potatoes were serviceable at best. The Tilly's Waitress Special was the quintessential breakfast meal. Tilly's left us satisfied and full

Mountainhome Diner has been around for years and is your typical diner with all-day breakfast available. It's clean and the staff were exactly what you want in a diner with friendliness and hospitality. I went with a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant with some well done potatoes. My friend had the scrapple with some scrambled eggs. I also had an orange juice. The orange juice I did not care for. Definitely not fresh squeezed. But the sandwich was excellent along with the potatoes. My friend also loved his coffee and scrapple with egg. The current owners since 2017 are husband and wife restaurateurs Ali and Etab Abullattif. The enormous menu features classic staples such as omelets, pancakes, eggs benedict, french toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast wraps, salads, sandwiches, paninis, burgers, seafood entrees, steakhouse entrees, and various Italian specialties too numerous to mention. My family and I visited Mountainhome Diner for lunch on a recent trip to the Poconos. It was actually are last morning on our trip and we were looking for a place to grab lunch before making the drive back to Connecticut. We had driven past the diner several times on previous visits to the area, but had never visited before. We decided to give them a try. It seemed like a classic American diner that you could find just about anywhere. There's no website, no social media accounts, just good old-fashioned diner staples. The staff were friendly and accommodating and they seated us at a booth. A go-to dish that my wife and I both like to get at classic diners is a Greek salad, and Mountainhome Diner's "Big Fat Greek Salad" (chopped iceberg lettuce, crumbled feta, olives, tomato, onions, peppers, grape leaves, house Greek vinegar) sounded like it was just what we were looking for. I ordered mine with gyro while my wife ordered hers with chicken. Those salads really hit the spot! For our sons, we looked to the Kids Menu. Our older son had the "Hot Dog with French fries" while our younger son had the "Chicken Fingers with French fries". They were both very happy with their dishes. We had a nice time at Mountainhome Diner and we're happy that we finally stopped in. We recommend them to anyone visiting the area!
