I always have a good consistent experience at McDonalds. Prices are better than most places. Combos about $2 less than BK. The app is the best in the industry, seriously I have several. Extremely slow service! I went to McDonald's and ordered a large Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and it took over 30 minutes just to get my food. That's ridiculous for a fast food place! The whole point of McDonald's is quick service, but this was anything but fast. No one apologized or gave an update, and by the time I finally got my sandwich, I was beyond frustrated. Definitely disappointed with this experience -- I expect much better next time. read more

Passing through on way back from Seabrook. Pleasantly surprised to have such great customer service here. Rosa (?) helped me with the app, brought out my nuggets to outside table when I stepped out to check on my kids. My kids asked if she was the manager but Rosa had said, "I might need to ask the manager" 2 seconds b4 she figured out the app. Yes I just reviewed a McDonald's! We were walkin about the town of a Hoquiam, and getting thirsty and their they were the golden arches, aahhh. A half cut tea (half sweet tea and half regular tea) sounded good and the price was right. Headed for the dining room? And was stopped short by employees going in and out, who said you can't go in; but you can order with our app. Not wanting to download an app. And then remove it. We decided to walk through the drive thru. After not getting a reply at the order pole, we walked up to the pay window. The young lady informed us that " we cannot serve you unless you are in a car". Huhhh. Soooo we left. I'm a thinkin they may never open the dining area again ( takes too many employees). Even Taco Bell will let you come in and order. Poor service, consistant issues with mishandled orders, incompetant staff. Overall bad experiences every time I have visited this particular location. For a franchise that's so well known for its standardized method of service and product standards, this is completely unacceptable! I LIVE three blocks from the Hoquiam location, and I will be using the Aberdeen store location (10 minutes away) for it"s services from now on. I actually had an interview today but i didn't stay for it. I came in stood in line and waited to speak with the manager. When she made her appearance she aggressively started asking everyone, the customers in line "what are you waiting for". When she asked me i told her i was there for an interview and she told me to go find a seat... so i did. As i was sitting waiting i could easily hear her yelling and being extremely rude and aggressive to her employees. She told someone to hurry up making a sandwich and he said im sorry im remaking it because I dropped it and she yelled back, "i dont care!!" She was being verbally abusive to her employees. I dont know if i came at a bad day or time. But id rather be broke than work under a manager that treats her employees that way. read more

I stopped in on my way through town from the ocean. The restaurant was clean and fully stocked. Everyone there was kind and friendly. Especially Spencer who took the time to make my 4 year old son feel just as important as any adult there. I will be stopping by everytime in the area. Great place! read more
