Fun place to stop and have lunch when heading to ocean shores. Service was good, food was nothing fancy. Gals I came with loved their food. I had a blt. It was good. Great service! Stopped in for a quick bite while on our drive through the area. Our bartender was the waitress- and she was kind, attentive and super friendly. The food was delicious. 3 of us had burgers- loved them. One had the totchos- loved and cleaned the plate.... Another had chicken wrap. Loved it. Had the fried chicken. The tots are crisp- just like you'd want... my hubby got the onion rings- and I have to say... they were SO tasty. The flavor of the onion- a a nice cut of onion, etc- was just perfect. At 9pm u see 21 must leave... e had a 19 yr old with us so we left... but id say this is somewhere to stop for a game of pool, karaoke, a good night out- with cold drinks and good food. read more

Stopped in Aberdeen to charge the car and figured we would grab something to eat. Reviews looked good, but the moment we got inside that sentiment changed. Too loud to hear a thing, inattentive staff, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Left before we became the victims of a hate-crime, so can't comment on the food or beverage available. My friend got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was really good. I got the messy single and it was ok, super messy, really heavy handed on the mustard and salt. The tots were super good and crispy, not too salty. Service was friendly. read more

Surprisingly, good food. Club sandwich was awesome. I am thoroughly impressed with their potato salad when your portion has enough bacon in it. The first one I got it, it had a lot of bacon in the second one not so much. It may just be the way it was mixed that day.. Their turkey sandwich is really good. Their French dip was good but seriously lacking in size which was a bummer, plus we when you order through door dash it would be nice to be able to add cheese, sautéed mushroom and onions. Found this little place on Yelp as I looked for something to eat and a beer on the road. Jessy greeted me as a friend, recommended a quality Washington beer. Decided to check this bar out for date night. It is an interesting space, on the 2nd floor of the building. Great layout, and comfortable. It has a historical Aberdeen vibe that I enjoyed. Decent selection of beers and a couple of ciders, nothing from the Aberdeen or Hoquim Breweries, but that is ok. The burgers at a half pound are decently sized. I love all the options, I got ham on my cheese burger, and a bunch of the works. The burger lived up to the name of the bar. But it was very good. I wish I had gotten the fries over the tater tot's. They weren't bad, they just didn't hit the spot like fries would have been. The staff were friendly, helpful and inviting. The pub is located right downtown in the upstairs of the old Masonic Hall. It was very eclectic inside and was decorated for Halloween. My GF & I stopped in here for a hamburger lunch since we had seen several good reviews. Not disappointed! We were the first of the lunch crowd so we were greeted and served right away. We ordered a Messy Jessey burger with cheese & bacon and tots on the side. The single burger was big enough to satisfy us both and the tots were hot, crisp and extremely tasty! We LOVE this place. They have Amazing Fried Mushrooms and the Mushroom Swiss Burgers are always so yummy. They are a 1/2 lb burger so my husband and I share and have the onion rings instead of fries along with the deep fried mushrooms. It is nice that they have an elevator since it is upstairs and we like to come with family that no longer do the stairs. read more

Eaten here several times and the burgers are generally super good. It's bar food, but leaves us happy. Today I ordered the nachos, and I have to say that they were absolutely vile. Nachos are so easy... the only way to really Ruin nachos is to use pourable fake cheese goop like a movie theater would use. Not only is it indigestible, but it also just tastes like a chemical. Anyway PLEASE change the recipe for your nachos and just use shredded cheese for cryin out loud. read more

Decided to try this place on a slow Sunday at noon. I was one of 5 people in the place. Immediately greeted and seated. Had a beer in front of me in 6 seconds. Lunch order taken immediately too. I decided on a taco salad. While waiting, walked around a bit and noticed a pool table, dart board, foosball and video golf game and a few tvs. The taco salad is actually pretty small. Made with about 8 tortilla chips and typical taco salad fixings (no beans). The dressing is salsa and sour cream on the side. I could have ordered a regular dressing if I wanted. I think I'd like to come back and try other menu items or maybe hang out on game day. But first impression of the salad is it is small for a entree salad but ok for a light lunch. Havent had a bad meal, drink or experience at this establishment however this review is about something different and the respect i have for how it was handled. Last night a patron was saying very derogatory and offensive things to a patron/ employee and the owner had no problem kicking this "patron" out. To me this speaks volumes. Every person, man/woman, straight/gay, black/white or likewise deserve to feel safe and Messy Jessy's did just that. No hesitation, no questions asked. They cared more about business integrity than money. Thank you Jessy for doing the right thing!!! read more

Wanting some deep-fried or grilled American goodness? Grays Harbor has some good "hole-in-wall" burger joints (Humdinger, Grizzly Den, Clark's) but this one has the best indoor seating in my opinion. The restaurant is beautiful inside. Game Day is just one of those places you just love from the get-go. I've been there probably 5ish times and will continue to do so. The servers have always been out-of-their way kind and friendly and attentive. The food here is anything but mind-blowing-unique. Instead, it's that reliable greasy burger and tot meal craving we all get. Consider making this place a regular on your list. Well I never expected to be celebrating our Big Birthdays (60th & 70th) & our 35th wedding anniversary, at a Sports Bar! Yet...there we were on Saturday, July 31st my husband and I were as happy as can be. The private dining room at the "Game Day Sports Bar & Grill" was absolutely perfect for our group of 40pp! AWFUL AWFUL AWUL! The pickle chips are a real let down. To start you ONLY get 12 and they were greasy. I soaked up two full napkins of grease. BARF. The burger is claimed to be a 1/2 pound patty...LIES. You couldn't even see the patty on the bun. The cheese on the burger wasn't even melted. My husband and I got this to share and I ended up just telling him he could eat it since it he was so hungry. TBH I could go to Billy's, another local restaurant, and get better pickle chips (more actually) and a brick burger which is a true 1/2 pound patty. When confronted by the owner she wasn't pleasant to begin with. She came to our table saying "I hear we are very upset" in a snotty way. Not the best way to start a conversation when you own a business in a small town. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

I could only decide (because there were ingenious choices) when our bar server, Hannah, suggested "Sweet Heat." Listed under "Pinsa Flat Bread" it came out 12"x6" thick bread perfectly browned in oven with gooey garlic/mozzarella but, wait, caramelized onions, thick-diced grilled chicken that tasted like bacon. Every two or three inches, one pickled jalapeño perfectly placed for heat that didn't burn, and over it all, drizzled HOT HONEY!!! My mouth was ecstatic. I highly recommend! I've been there twice now and the food is great. My chicken strips were huge and very tasty. Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff! The atmosphere is very pleasant. They did a lot of work to the space in a run down mall and brought the space back to life. All the sports stuff and TV's are great. I'm very impressed! Great job Game Day Sports Bar and Grill.
