We went inside to eat and my granddaughter's Happy Meal was cold, my son's Quarter Pounder was raw in the middle and my Quarter Pounder with Bacon no ketchup had ketchup. The Huntington McDonald's is habitually consistent with taking far to much time to prepare even the most minimal order. Not only are they non-efficient with maximum efficiency, every meal I have ordered here is habitually cold, that's right, COLD - FROM Double Quarter Pounders to Big Macs (burgers & unordered chicken big Macs) without special orders for all food. The Once Relished McDonald's French Fries are also ALWAYS cold, at best and left over for at least an hour. Also, this McDonald's will, if you order NO SALT on the Fries or ask for a Hot, Fresh Meal, they continuously throw the French Fries that have sit on the warmer back in the Friar to heat them up and are ALWAYS FAR too hard to eat. THIS IS NOT WHAT CUSTOMERS PAY FOR. THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS SO VERY AWFUL HERE, THE BOARD OF HEALTH NEEDS TO COMPLETELY CLOSE THIS RESTAURANT. My orders, (and everyone that has been here, that I know of), have also been continuously WRONG, WRONG AND COLD AFTER WAITING IN LINE FOR 30 MINUTES to an hour. I have been sitting in the drive thru line for 35 minutes without moving. My car is currently turned off. Unfortunately I am between two cars so i can't get out of the drive thru line. I have never in my life waited this long in a drive thru. Completely unacceptable. The parking lot is otherwise empty. I could absolutely understand waiting if it were very busy. But it's not that busy. From the previous reviews spanning over the past several years this sounds like it is an extreme problem that management isn't dealing with. Very disappointing. I'm editing this review to post what happened after I got my food and got home. These were my French fries (photo attached). The large fry was not even half full and the fries were completely RAW. The nuggets weren't crispy and barely warm. I called to complain about the fries specifically and was told to come back and get a replacement. The replacement were fresh and hot but I'm still pretty annoyed I had to turn around and go back for them to fix their horrid error. read more

The lady was rude taking the order. I proceeded to ask somebody in the place what her name was. I was going to try to let it go. I got up to the window and the guy at the window dang near through our food at us!! I called up to report the incident 20 Rings nobody answered. So I finally get somebody on the phone and I asked for the manager. I get nothing but more rude Behavior with her telling me why did I need to know her name. Ok I know I shouldn't complain because I'm McDonald's and expectations should never be high when eating McDonald's but your food should at the very least be hot and maybe not even hot but not COLD! This McDonalds is horrible! My 5 year old and 3 year old walked in to order in. We went to the kiosk and everything was fine until the kiosk wouldn't take my card and said it was stuck, but it wasn't. So I pushed the help button as they were busy and I could wait. After about 15 minutes of me standing there with no help or even attempt at help, I went to the counter. The first woman that helped me said "I don't fucking know" and walked away and got the manager. The manager was even worse! The first woman told her the issue and the manager said "that's because the kid pushed the button". I announced loudly that I was the one who pushed it because I needed help and she'd know that if she or anyone had attempted to help me. Then she comes over to the computer at the front and interrupts me as I'm trying to tell her where I was at in the ordering process. She interrupted and read off my order, I said yes that's it. She slammed the receipt down and walked away. Mind you, I was never rude! They should be ashamed of themselves acting like this. The manager Joseph was so inappropriate he was not able to even distinguish what to do. He was yelling at the cook in the back when I walked in didn't give me the time of day. We are not a fan of this location. Multiple times our order has been wrong, and it wasn't fixed. There has been twice now when my fiance arrived home with food that was cold or undercooked. That staff are rarely friendly, and the trash situation on their property is disturbing. We haven't eaten here in months, as the number of mistakes that have not been fixed is a deal breaker for us as consumers. Lastly, they aren't even 24 hours. The restaurant is somewhat clean but over the years I have only experienced one pleasant worker. The rest of their workers tend to be lazy and jaded. The drive thru never fills the cup and they often don't change their menu from breakfast to lunch. Not only do they not change their menu but their workers have a rude tone when you expect to be able to order from the menu in front of you. Passing through Huntington in the way to Ball State, stopped for breakfast. My expectations aren't unreasonably high for a fast food experience. However even the minimum expectation was not met on this visit. The cashier did not greet me--simply stood there and stared at me until I finally spoke to her. I ordered a sausage with cheese biscuit plus an order of hash browns, which apparently was too complicated for her abilities. It feels odd giving a fast food place 5 stars, I just wanted to put that out there first. On my visit the place was extremely clean, the bathrooms were extremely clean and smell fresh, the staff were friendly, funny, and very helpful + patient since I had three small children with me. The order was taken quickly and before I explain to the kids that we had to wait a little bit for the food to come out it was ready. I'm still unclear on how everything tasted so fresh, you know where all going to judge fast food for it mass quantity producing quality of food. It's a new building and the service is so quick. The employees are attentive and willing to help in whatever way they can. For being a fast food restaurant it is supremely excellent.
