In town for sports and ended up going there two nights in a row. First night we had pizzas, based on recommendation from hotel staff. Based on space and variety in the food menu, we ended up coming back with team and they were able to accommodate our large party with no issues. Went here for dinner on a Saturday around 5. There were 4 adults no children and were seated in no time. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink order just as we sat down. Drinks arrived in no time and since we knew what we wanted she took our order. Less than 15 min. Later our entrees arrived but no silverware. We found a different server and she got the silverware but it took 10 min to get someone's attention. By that time our hot meals were cold but the food was delicious and plenty on the plate. Our only complaint was how noisy the place was. Gave me a headache. The prices are reasonable and the joint is very clean. They have so many TVs you can watch multiple games at once. Good food, and a good menu with interesting options. I got the pesto chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes. The sandwich was pretty good; potatoes were a bit heavy and not fluffy like I was hoping. Pesto had good flavor and the sandwich bun good quality. The server was friendly and efficient. There are a ton of TVs with different things on, but none had closed captions on and that would have been really helpful since there is also no sound from them. Pricing felt reasonable. It was too cold when I visited for the patio, but that looks like a great summer spot. Parking is in the mall parking lot so that will vary depending on time of day. More cheese? A ton of cheese? You got a ton. I didn't really taste much more than ricotta cheese. Unless you want mouthfuls of cheese, don't get this one. 2/5 stars. Note: They have a weekday lunch special (until 4pm) for their 12 inch pizzas for $7.99. That's what I feel the pizzas are worth. Burgers: Beer Barrel Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger - Best burger I've had in a long time. They put on lots of sauce, which I love, but it's really messy. 5/5 stars. I'm okay with Beer Barrel. The boneless chicken wings and artichoke dip were really good! The pizza not so much. Got cold very fast and it fell apart with not much toppings. I called to place an order through the phone and got transferred twice before just getting hung up on. I called again to actually place it. I tried ordering the party starter and they had no idea what I was talking about. I basically had to spell it out to them. Atmosphere looked good though. My husband and I went to Beer Barrel after seeing Monkey Man, (MUST SEE by the way) and it hit the spot. We were greeted by the hostess immediately who escorted us to our seats in no time. Our lovely waitress arrived shortly thereafter to take our orders, answering every question we had about the menu with no hesitation and honesty. The raspberry tea was good! And don't even get me started on that spinach artichoke dip - hot and creamy and so good with the pita chips. The fish and chips were definitely on point, and the veggie pizza was the perfect size. My wife and I went in to try what was claimed to be a fantastic pizza place in Jefferson Point Mall in Ft. Wayne. We went in and were promptly sat down and the greater was friendly. After roughly 15 minutes of waiting to even be acknowledged by wait staff (two had walked passed us twice), we decided to go elsewhere for lunch. If they were getting hammered, I would have been more understanding, not happy, but more understanding. There were rough 8 tables with customers and I counted probably 7 servers. When we walked out, the greeter and 3 of the wait staff were standing up front joking and laughing. This is not some place I would recommend to anyone. read more

We ordered the pepper cheese balls (served with Ranch) and garlic knots (served with garlic butter and marinara). Both were really good but nothing you probably haven't had elsewhere. When we come back we will try something else. But overall, we were happy. But we came here for the pizza!! The deep dish Supreme! Flaky crust, lots of toppings, and the cheese was amazing. You could take a bite and stretch the cheese a foot before it would let go of that delicious pizza. Very, very good and very filling. Definitely some of the best pizza we've had around Fort Wayne. BONUS!! WE ORDERED WINGS!! The best WINGS I have had in a long damn time. Oh and you can have them breaded or not and they ARE huge! When the menu says Big Wings, I know why! Overall I enjoyed this place the service was good, the food and drink I had were amazing and honestly I hope to eat here again. The only reason for not doing a 5 star was that despite there being almost no one there it took almost an hour to get any food at all and our server only seemed to be around if food was ready to come out otherwise she stayed in the kitchen. The appetizer we got was the cheesey fries and they were amazing so much so I can't wait to try my burger. Would love to be able to give a higher rating - except for our server. The menu is very enticing and our choices of entrees were great - not the problem. I ordered a blackberry ice tea. When our server checked back to see if everything was ok, I mentioned that the ice tea had no blackberry flavor to it. She said I"ll bring you another one and add more of the flavoring to it as I make it myself. (I suspect she forgot to add any.) she brought me another one, much improved. However, when the bill came she charged for two teas, $7.00.! In my mind that 2nd tea was not an additional drink of another kind, but a correction. Top notch service! Our group of 12 arrived and sat for 30 minutes without being greeted by a server. We asked a passing by server who had our table - she said she would check. We also had someone else in the group check in at the bar as well for assistance. Within minutes the manager is out to apologize for the delay. He said it was unacceptable and shared he was taking off 1/2 of each of our bills. We were blown away ... but that was only the tip of the iceberg...He also offered to send out chips & salsa ... he had 4 orders delivered to the table. We had every passing server stop by for the rest of the evening asking if we needed anything. A few other servers brought pitches of water for the group while we waited on our drinks. Our server was top notch - getting everything correct with our drink & menu order. Each couple was spread out ... makings things complicated... but she carefully nailed everything! The manager then sent out a couple of appetizer samplers as well. Completely unnecessary... on top of what he already done. Our group was literally taken aback by the over the top service we were given to right a wrong/mistake. We think there was confusion on who had our group ... unsure really ... but bottom line BB went above & beyond! She was cordial and professional, but short and to the point The food arrived piping hot, I could see the steam rising. I had the pizza and my dinner companion had the breaded wings. The pizza was excellent, it had a lot of sauce, but it was really delicious. My companion ate every wing. We didn't linger, the atmosphere didn't lend to us wanting to have small talk or just sit and relax. I felt almost rushed from the time we stepped in, which is odd because it was early and the crowd was light I might give it another try, but no time soon. Also: they do a weird thing that I don't like. Tables already have plates sitting waiting for guests to arrive.
