Here on a Friday because my son insisted on going to the playscape. So disappointed to see the lack of care and cleanliness. The play area is filthy, socks are REQUIRED yet 4 of the 5 children are in bare, sweaty feet. The drinks area is gross and neglected. It smells like throw up there and in the waiting area. The ice cream dispenser visible from the ordering station is really dirty and unkept. There are only certain people to blame : leadership (manager and owner). They can not handle breakfast and dinner at the same time. They messed up the order had them redo it while at the window even during rush hour at 2030 and backed up in the drive through. They run out of the apple pies and all this is twice in a row. read more

This by far one of THE WORST McDonald's.. Every time I go there they are always making mistakes on my orders! it never fails. I can't even count how many times I had to go back because my order was incorrect or fries being cold. I placed my order and pulled up ..,one of the staff Aidan was eating a sausage burrito right in front the drive thru window!! Was he on the clock or on a break? Either way ...That was very unprofessional. He walked away and the other cashier that took over and started taking other orders behind me, while I still waiting to pay then Aidan came back and the other cashier was laughing at me in those exact words " saying look at this woman staring at you, to take her money'. (Seriously I'm a 34 year old married woman that's a teacher). But I didn't say a word. I rather drive a few miles to go to the other location on round rock for better service.. This has got to be the worst McDonald's I have experienced. They messed my order up four out of my last five trips there. If you go through the drive through, make sure to triple check your order. I've had to drive all the way back on multiple occasions because they forgot one or more of the main courses. Ridiculous. read more

Normally use the drive thru and have had mo issues but went in today. I stood and watched my tray of food sit in the make ready area while several ignored it. Then the employee that was getting everyone else's orders ready put my food back. It took another lady to hunt it back down and give me my order. Thank you for realizing that someone was waiting for their food am awfully long time. They are giving free samples of a new egg-white delight which is a no yolk, white cheese mcmuffin. I've lived in Hutto for 11 years and this McDonalds was once decent but it has declined quickly over the years and in recent days. Every time my wife and I go the shake machine is always down. The fries are cold and not salted and management doesn't seem to care. The other day I ordered a chocolate shake along with other items. I paid and pulled up to the next window only to be told no chocolate shakes. Only vanilla or strawberry. I asked for a refund on the shake and the manager seemed to be put out by this. The shake wasn't even made yet nor was it busy. He had me pull up and wait for my refund and when he came out he gave me my change less than the cost of the shake. I told him that and he unhappily went back in and got me the correct change. By that time my food was cold and I just didn't want to go down that road. I really recommend driving down the road to another location that has better performance. read more

This place can never, ever get your order right. And not only not get it right, but every time I have gone through there they have forgotten part of my order. EVERY time! And they get upset when you want to sit at the window and check your order before you drive up, then want you to pull forward when you tell them your order is not all there. I have had breakfast here most days for years and was glad to see new ownership take over the place. They immediately re-striped the lot and I thought, wow, great. Then it stopped there. Coke machine remained broken for a long time and has repeatedly run out of carbonation. Both doors have been broken on and off. Bathroom toilet broken over a year. This past winter, owner was so cheap, temperature inside restaurant was in the 50's and now when it's warm out, it approaches mid 80's. The only time they are adequately staffed is when they are expecting someone from corporate. They have also hired some very bad performers. Thank God, Isabel, Matthew and Yari as well as some longer term employees are there or we wouldn't still come around. There have been some days I have come in and left when I see a specific older female manager. The first 7 or 8 times she took my order, it was never right. She'd argue with me that I ordered wrong (I have been coming for 5 years and order the same all the time). She actually messed up 4 people's orders before mine one time and told everyone they were wrong. There is nothing worse than waking up and having breakfast with a grumpy person taking your order. To the owner I say: If you are going to say your restaurant has WiFi, then pay the bill and have it. If you say you are open at 5 AM, then open at 5, not 6 or 6:30. If I could tell McDonalds' corporate people one thing, I'd find another owner for that store and start from scratch with just a few of the old employees. Mind you, most of my opinion is based on mornings but one of the morning grumpy faced girls from morning is now manager in the afternoon and when I went in last week, she hasn't changed so I just left. I could go on and on but I'll end on this by saying I have managed a few McDonalds and have helped open 3 more and this is by far the worst one I have ever visited. If you barely have enough money to buy a franchise and can't invest in fixing it up and invest in hiring good people, don't buy it. Find something else to put your money in. You might also ask some of your friends to come in every once in a while and see how it is being run when you are not there. It would be a mind opener. read more

I ordered a meal and a salad via Mobil ap. When I arrived to pick it up, the manager (Dawn) told me she had no order from me. I attempted to show her my order, she proceeded to turn her back on me and walk away. I tried to get her attention, and finally she came back to me wanting me to show her my back acct where I had paid for my food, No Way would I show anyone my personal back info and yes I tried to show her where I had paid thru the ap. She refused to listen, or give me my order that she claimed she didnt receive thru the ap, and wanted me to reorder and pay again. When I showed her the ap again, she once again turned her back on me and ignored me. I finally shouted from the counter asking her her name. She slowly walked back to me and asked me why I wanted her know. So I told her I would be contacting corporate. She finally said her name was Dawn but refused to give me her last name. Im absolutely appalled that McDonalds hires manager who treat customers this way! I've learned to Always check my order before I leave because 9 times out of 10, it's wrong. But I continue to give McD's a change...Not After This! Never stepping back into this McDonals again (or using the drive thru)! read more

Slow and bad service at night, not to mention charging $3.99 for a so called PREMIUM chicken wrap with only the 2 chicken tenders and cheese inside of it, nothing else. There was nothing PREMIUM about it except the price. You would be better off going to Jack in the Box for a full meal for the same price or going down the road to Walmart and spending less on an entire chicken. read more

Ordered homestyle burger at drive through , and it was uneatable due to being sour and having wrong type of lettuce (shredded lettuce ,instead of leaf ). Asked for ranch dressing for my salad and got balsamic instead. No ketchup for fries and no napkins. I mean you gotta try hard to make 4 mistakes on $10 worth of food. Went to the Hutto location this morning and ordered two pancake breakfast meals. Upon returning home, we realized that the food had no syrup, butter or utensils in the bag. We live about ten minutes away. We called and spoke with a very rude female manager who told us we had to take the food back if we wanted a refund. Gladly we drove back. Once there we were refunded in cash and not back on the card used. We tried calling the customer service number on the receipt but it was no longer active. At the store the manager gave us a franchise number that of course went no where. We went to the McDonalds website and found a complaint line which was finally helpful. One too many mistakes at this McDonalds. Take the time and find something else to eat, they treat customers worse than any other place. read more

One star is showing but I like to say it gets no stars from me. Recently, moved to hutto Texas. A small town growing with families from all over trying to catch a break from the over price northern and out side states I have visited this McDonald's location multiple times and they have never exceeded the value in customer service and in anyway of showing proper business ethic. I will be elaborating examples of how poorly this location fails to the Cain of Mcdonalds inc business ideal presentation. Example A. Tonight I decided to go with the kids to pick up a midnight snack. On are arrival and asking for 3 separate orders. We never received a confirmation or viewing of the order on the drive in screen. Nor did the employee verbally confirming the order back. Example B. After receiving each order we check to confirm that it is safe to head home with the proper product. In my findings I was charged 10 cents for asking nicely to have no ice in my drink. That I did already pay the up charge of making the meal lg. Example C. One day I made a stop at this location using the second drive thru that is available for ordering. Both drive thru ordering will proceed back to one line. In most business they would show a balance of fairness of each customers value of waiting patience. I waited as I watch the other side placing orders and moving forward and not being helped. I watched 5 cars pass me and others in line in our cars. Wasting our high octane fuel. I finally became upset and drove up to the side of the line and got out of my vehicle to ask for the manger. I was told that they will place my order if I go back in line. I explained that I had been waiting and watching the other line that funnels back into one line. They did not care to give me any sort of customer value of making the issue correct or rewarding me of some sort of discount for the unprofessional business ethic. The business phone number was a dead end to finding the owners and I was never contacted back after leaving my message. Example D I have come to realize that this location does not give you the full value of your purchased meal. If you purchase a lg fries you will be handed a lg container with the amount of a med fries. If you get a med fries you will be handed a med container with holding a small fries. As well you will be given food that seems to be cooked hours prier of your visit and either kept warm or stored to be re heated. Making the value of this product very un satisfying. I am coming to an end of seeing any light in this city of hutto Texas. This may just be a review on MCdonalds restaurant. Yet this city of hutto Texas has not shown any values in any food chain presently open in the area. read more

With 3 kids, I visit McDonald's often but have NEVER ENJOYED A VISIT MORE THAN THIS ONE!!! When we came in, the cashier was helping a couple order at the kiosk so I did mine at the kiosk as well rather than wait. She came over to me and asked if I needed any assistance, I didn't but appreciated the gesture. Then, SHE BROUGHT MY ORDER OUT TO ME! I have never had that at a McDonald's. It was so appreciated. After serving the food to my kids, I realized we were missing a go-gurt that we ordered. When I went to the counter, another woman greeted me right away, checked my receipt quickly, then handed it to me with an apology! I couldn't believe the wonderful service. Lastly, I headed out to the play area with my kids and the wonderful suprises kept on coming! The while place was immaculately clean! Clean high chairs, clean chairs and even clean floors. Not to mention, the play place was amazing. I have never seen such an enormous playscape inside a McDonald's. AND, ALL THE MUSIC INSTRUMENTS AND TOYS WORKED!!! We will definitely be back and often! I agree with the other comments about cleanliness. However, I need to add sanitary as well or health concerns. My order got mixed up with another order and I asked for a second order to be made and I saw the shift leader take that order and put it on another order and give it to a different customer. She should have thrown it in the bin to be counted. I didn't know if the customer unwrapped it and touched it because he along with his preteen kids had it for at least 5 minutes before he realized it was not his order. She looked annoyed that I would ask for a new order. Unsanitary, if a customer brings something back you should always throw it away because you don't know what the other person did to the food. read more
