It was decent for the price. Don't expect anything fancy. Large Fries ($3.39) I honestly only come here for the fries. They are usually salted just right and crisped perfectly, though some days the fries are lukewarm. --Seating: Plenty of seating inside, but I typically only go to the drive thru. --Location: It's in a decent part of Irving next to an Italian eatery and just off the freeway. --Service: In the daytime it's been great! Especially from the Latino employees. But at night, that's when the people who clearly aren't happy working there seem to come out. I would avoid going there after 7p if you want decent service. I fail to see why the ratings are so low. This place always, always has cars in line. Today BOTH lanes had a person taking orders. After reading the prior reviews, I'm not surprised that this happened. Never really had a big issue since the rebuild, with the exception the other day I tried to order a salad a lunch and was told they weren't selling salads right now. No explanation so I left from the outside lane to Wendy's and got a salad. But tonight husband went out for family and order big mac meal, quarter pounder meal, and two mcflurries. When he got home he handed me the bag while he gave kids mcflurries for their desert(not knowing what he had gotten for the adults), I open to see 3 large fries. I pull out a big mac box. I said I guess the big mac is mine? He said I got you a quarter pounder. I didn't see anymore sandwiches, so I pulled out the napkins and the three large fries, which left nothing but a few stray fries. So, I let him have the sandwich since he went and paid for it. I had one large fry and a kid ate the other. Thanks for robbing me of my dinner. We weren't going to go back and risk contamination of the quarter pounder that we'd ask for again. I went through the drive thru around 1am and made an order with 2 McDoubles with not onions or pickles upon arriving to my house I take a look at both McDoubles and they are drenched in BIG MAC SAUCE!!!!! This McDonald's is a bit of a mixed bag if it's your first time there. Their speed and service is exceptional. I recommend hanging onto your receipt as some of the staff may not speak the best english, but if you hand them the receipt, they'll review the order to see what was missed. The food is alright; it's in no way consistent when it comes to how much condiments are on each burger, but it's cheap food, so how am I to complain. Night time (after 11) only has cash purchases due to their system having to reboot and be maintained, but during the day mobile orders and digital currency works great. The lobby does close at night, but the drive-thru is 24 hours. Gets brownie points for being one of the few McDonalds I've seen that has a consistently working ice cream machine. read more

This McDonald's is clean, I'll give them that. But everything else is just - WOW! First off, I must tell you that I hate the inside kiosks! It takes three times as long to order than if I'd just ordered from a person at the counter. At the kiosk, I chose the Table Delivery option with the plastic tent. My order on my receipt was stamped at 7:42pm. I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally a girl comes with my bag and tells me that it's been sitting on the counter. No drink cup. I tell her that I need a cup and the fries are cold, I need new ones. She glares at me while getting them. I had the double fish sandwich, most of the tartar sauce is on the outside of the sandwich in the cardboard container. It's now about 8:10pm and a young kid is coming around to tell people they have to leave, the restaurant is closed (he meant the dining room, drive-thru and to-go are still in service). In a 24/7 restaurant on a Friday night! Ridiculous! He approached three young girls at the table next to mine and told them they had to leave. I piped up saying "we're not going anywhere until we've finished our food!" He stammered " but the manager..." and I cut him off with an "I don't care!". Guess what? While I've been here a few times in the past & normally love this location & have no issue - not this time. The drive through person was friendly but that's about it. Oh, & the parking lot was clean. Placed an order via Uber eats - i waited 30 minutes with no updates so i called the location. The man on the phone was very condescending and rude. It didn't take long to realize why Sonic was virtually deserted during a recent lunch hour. The facility itself is located in the Irving Super Wal-Mart. I did the deal by one sandwich get another item for .25.My order was a Big Mac sandwich,a Large Fry and a Spicy 10 pc nugget.As I pulled up to the window to get my food my order was wrong And did not match my original order. In fact they had me with 2 mc nuggets and 2 large fries. Of course they ended up correcting it and I was okay or at least I thought I was. So as I got home and gave my mother her food,she was not happy.As soon as she bit in to the sandwich the bread was old and stiff and crumbly like.It was breaking up in her hands. Then on top of that the veggies on the burger were in fact soggy and we're not fresh. The Burger overall was cold and gross.Mymother and I were not very pleased with the service that we received tonight from this McDonald's.In fact we feel a little disrespected.My mother's motto is "Do not serve me anything you wouldn't eat". I'm gonna real honest, usually fast food corporations like McDonald's or Jack in the Box generally have their restaurants being panned. This location reminded me that every location is different either with the same or different GM department. The elderly white woman who works in cashier at the front of the restaurant is overwhelmingly kind! It really shows that she cares about her customers, I really hope she's doing alright. She was fast with getting my large cup (because I wanted a beverage lol) and yeah... The only complaint is that the restaurant has outdated drinking filters or drink system, which has me a sorts of worried, the store is also outdated with barely no face lifts, positively serving a late 1990s image. read more
