I've heard several people rave about the meatball sandwich so I knew what order to place. I downloaded the app because they give you specials and rewards and I'm a bit of a sandwich enthusiast. They had my order done in about 4 minutes after walking in. They were eager to see a face and were kind and attentive to me as a customer. The Firehouse Meatball is made with Italian meatballs, melted provolone, zesty marinara and Italian seasonings. The marinara adds the perfect balance to the gaminess of the meatballs. I also chose to get "pepperoni bread" which is fancy for top my sub with pepperoni slices lol. Pro tip: If you pick off the pepperoni and add to the bites where you have more bread to meat ratio, they become pretty resourceful. Also I saw the sweet and spicy meatball too but thought it would be strange. Turns out "sweet and spicy" really means hot pepper sauce and red pepper flakes. Ordering next time for sure! read more

My sister got the pepperoni meatball sub and it was definitely a fork and knife type of sandwich. I've been here twice before and had no issues, I came in today and the workers were friendly and got me my food in a timely manner. However, I decided to be brave and try it out! Its called Firehouse because I think it was originated from Firemen. The workers were SUPER sweet. The cashier, I believe his name was Derick, was probably the most nicest worker ever. He explained how they made the sandwhiches and explained how the menu worked. First time trying and a lot of the reviews are old. Got here like 4:15pm Thurs. Few people waiting and they were taking a lot of online orders, but it looked like things were moving along. I didnt quite know what I wanted and they were patient with me continuing to make other peoples sandwiches. The order process was smooth and I went with the meatball sub combo with chip and drink. I was quoted "like 5 minutes" by the nice dude and while the actual wait time was 3 minutes longer, that's just petty if you're mad about that. Taste was pretty good, I liked the bread, it was definitely filling. If Subway made it any more easier for you in way of time or price, I would say you're not missing much here other than a few flavor/textural nuances. For sure give it a shot! This was my very first time eating at Firehouse. I have always heard great things about the quality and freshness of Firehouse subs, and their amazing customer service. I went online and checked out all the food items! WOW. Each and every sub looked amazing. Sometimes however, the picture looks better online than it does when you actually get your meal! But that was not the case! The presentation of the food once I got here was way over my head! They had nicely and neatly placed the sub in the box and wrapped it in Firehouse Paper nice and neat! Then a knife and fork where places ontop, which I have never seen that done before at a sub place! And then a nice warm slicked pickley was placed in a seperate baggy! The bread was super fresh and soft! The meatballs almost tasted home made, which was crazy. And the sauce was to die for! I got it topped off with peppers and pepper jack chesse!! Super bummed with this location. I've had FH Subs before and they were delish. I ordered the Steak 'n Cheese which says "deli mustard" as one of the sub sauces. It was horrible - much like they drowned the sandwich in horseradish. The meat didn't seem all that fresh and I'm pretty sure the mushrooms came from a can. (It tasted that way for sure.) My wife and I have had our share of firehouse subs for a while now and we have always been treated with respect as a customer. Today I called in an order, something I have done in the past. I was placed on hold for around 20 minutes so I drove to the firehouse sub store. I was still on hold as I approached the young lady at the register she asked me if I needed something? I told her I had been on hold for 20 minutes and allowed her to view my phone. She stated that I was not a priority because I was trying to place and order over the phone. I asked for a manager and he repeated, "orders made by phone were not a priority to firehouse subs". He said he was the GM and that I could call it in if I wanted. read more
