Went here on my way home from work. It was my birthday so I used my free birthday pastry from the app. Ordered an apple fritter. To my astonishment, what was in the brown bag they handed me was NOT an apple fritter, but a blueberry muffin. No "sorry we're out of apple fritters" or "we only have muffins left this morning". Just handed me the bag completely straight faced knowing the deviousness they had concealed inside. I get back on the road for my 1hr+ drive home. As I opened the bag, the smell was overwhelming. The sweet aroma of blueberries. I HATE blueberries. Just the mere smell makes me nauseous and gives me the feeling of impending doom. I spent the rest of my drive home gagging and fighting the urge to vomit all over my ostrich leather wrapped steering wheel. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! When I got home, I gave it to my wife. She ate it in three bites. Now whenever I kiss her I smell the lingering scent of the Devil's muffin. I will be meeting with my divorce lawyer next week. read more

Ordered two Deluxe Breakfast Platters (No syrup for either platter), the Deluxe Breakfast Platters come with hash brown... they didn't ask if I wanted ketchup for the hash browns had to request, also ordered two large McCafe coffees (never asked if I wanted cream or sugar, had to request and they still got the number of creamers and sugar packages WRONG)! Conclusion if you can avoid this location (do it) and go to another location. This location should have 1 star not 2 (staff and Management NEED better training). read more

Used to work at a McDonald's so I know it gets busy! You try to say sorry and move FAST!!! I went on the drive through, a girl was taking my order I asked for a strawberry smoothie she said they didn't have it then she laughed and a guy was taking my order now. Once I payed they told me to parked and once I got my order they forgot one of my drinks and plus I didn't get any sauce for my nuggets. From experience and for the future please make sure you handle all the drinks first and then make the customer park, also please make sure to put the sauces and napkins!!! read more

They changed the interior. It's so posh now. But that's where the goodness stopped. We ordered large caramel iced coffee-- they gave our order to another table. And when it finally came to us the coffee was wrong. We ordered deluxe breakfast plate -- they gave us literally just the breakfast. No syrup or butter for the pancake. No fork and knife to eat it with. They finally gave us the correct caramel iced coffee --- but it's wayyyyy too milky. Where's the coffee? They also didn't give us straw. I go to this McDonald's a lot and it's usually good, well at least as good as a McDonald's can be. I went to this store at 10:15 on Friday March 11th and the food was just horrendous. My double cheeseburger with bacon was gross due to my bun being concrete hard, my fries were cold at the window with zero salt or flavor, and we didn't get a straw or napkins. I called the store a female answered and said "McDonald's Irwindale" and I basically told her that my food was bad in a totally nice way, even saying I go there all the time and the food is always great and explained to her what the problem was. Ended it by saying "I'm not complaining, I'm just nervous for my morning poop." I really just wanted them to change something so the next person didn't get sick. But no, she hung up without saying anything and yes, I'm already getting sick. My stomach is hurting. They shut the phones off as soon as I called back again. I've been to this McDonald's several times and I have to say that compared to other McDonald's, this location's customer service has a lot of room for improvement. It seems like half of the time they don't get the order right and it's my fault that I don't usually check til I get home! That's extremely frustrating in itself, but it's happened more than a couple of times that the fries that me and/or my family orders aren't full. Now I don't expect it to be raining fries by any means, but at least fill the cup of the size that's ordered. I've ordered large fries and the amount of fries in the cup is about what you'd expect in a medium cup of fries. I know it's not the end of the world but if this happens a few times it's getting out of hand. It's a waste of money if you aren't getting what you paid for! I decided to stop by here on a Wednesday (right before thanksgiving) since I commute from LA to Fontana daily and traffic was horrible, so I stopped for a restroom break. While here, I ordered a filet-o-fish which was amazing, I can never get over how soft the bread (they use a different bun for this sandwich) and it's tasty! I also ordered sausage mc muffin; thank you mc donalds for serving breakfast (certain items) all day. It's much appreciated! Customer service was great, the facility was nice. The only thing wrong was, the restrooms were out of paper towels and the ketchup near the fountain drinks was either out or the pump was bad. If the staff did more frequent check-ups then I believe they would of caught this. I will knock one star just for the above minor issues, and will update my review accordingly on future visits. read more

Omg the most slowest McDonalds ever! Went thru the drive thru at 5pm for a 20 pc McNuggets. First off they couldn't hear thru the intercom. I pull up to the drive thru window to pay they took like 5 min just to take my money. I pull up to get my food, then they tell me to pull to the reserved parking to bring my food to me. Mind you it's been like 15 min already. My total time at a "fast food" establishment was about 21 min before got my food. They were lucky I paid already. I walked in about the same time another woman did and we were the only two people in line. There was about five crew members working from what I can see, the lady who walked in front of me was standing there for about five minutes before someone came over to help her. It was a while before she was even helped so I attempted to use the self order screens twice and both screens kept getting frozen so I gave up and decided to just wait in line. I finally get up to the counter, manager is standing off to the right and a crew member standing near the register. Was waiting for about 10 minutes before I asked if I can order because they were both standing there and they said yeah and then walked away. I waited for awhile before just leaving. Went there around 1:30 today, As you walk in, the floors are very dirty, you can literally see people's shoe marks. The lady that took the order clearly did not want to be there, very unwelcoming. I have nothing against the workers in this Mc.Donald's, but my order has never been right. They either forget to put something in or screw up my food. Every single time. Many times I have tried to call, and the phone rings and rings and rings, no one has ever answered.
