I wanted to try the handcrafted sandwich at McDonald's, and I have to say I probably went to the wrong McDonald's. Went there around 1:30 today, As you walk in, the floors are very dirty, you can literally see people's shoe marks. The lady that took the order clearly did not want to be there, very unwelcoming. I have nothing against the workers in this Mc.Donald's, but my order has never been right. They either forget to put something in or screw up my food. Every single time. Many times I have tried to call, and the phone rings and rings and rings, no one has ever answered. This MickeyDs is just north of the 210 at Irwindale Avenue, which is the first ramp east of the 210 / 605 interchange. I drive the 210 several times each week between San Dimas and the job site, which may be anywhere from Monrovia to Irvine to Santa Clarita to Oxnard. There is a 24-hour Arco gas station next door with decent prices. When the 210 is jammed in this area I'd duck off, top off the tank at Arco, duck into this MickeyDs, buy lunch or dinner, and get some work done on the laptop. This is very convenient combination. Pros: 1) CLEAN restaurant. 2) CLEAN bathrooms. 3) the dining room is open 24 hrs 4) GOOD customer service. The people know what a smile is. They greet you, thank you for your business, and wish you a good day. And they mean it (or are good actors). 5) Your order is usually perfect with no mistakes. 6) Better than average MickeyDs food (i.e. I've been to others that are pretty bad). 7) As you walk in the east side door the second and third booths to the left have AC outlets for charging your laptop or cellphone battery. A few of the northern tables do as well. Many MickeyDs have removed ALL the AC outlets in the restaurant area, this place is unusual in that regard. Cons: 1) the bathroom has a hot air blower instead of paper towels. 2) My truck can't fit in their drive through so I have to go inside. Not a big issue as the dining room is open 24 hours. Now understand that I'm never in here on a weekends - usually weekday afternoons and evenings, so my opinion is probably inaccurate as far as the weekends or the daytime lunch rush. = = = = = Update = = = = = The AC outlets are gone. no point in stopping here anymore. read more

This is our local Mcd's, I love the fact that they are 24 hrs. So it makes things convenient. Their drive thru service has always been great. Their staff are always nice/friendly. They actually greet you, thank you, and wish you a good day. Order is usually perfect with no mistakes when I get my bag. It's located right by the 210 fwy so it's usually a quick grab before hitting the road. And if you're out of gas, Arco is right next door! read more

You know , this is sort of a universal review. I remember when Mc Donald's was "the " best overall. The fries were always crisp and salted perfectly, the food tasty for fast food standards. But now .. your lucky if your fries are warm . Your order made correctly. I have just lost my Love for the Iconic Mc Donald's. One of the last times my kids got nuggets, they were petrified .. it was as if they had been sitting and when we ordered them instead of making a fresh batch (because really how hard is that??) they threw them back in the frier.... it is sad.... We waited in line for 45 min, there were 2 cars in front of us. When we finally got to the front we got our food which was cold, we asked for new French fries but it was a 6 min wait. We asked for our meal to be free and they denied us. Tonight I was feeling lazy to go out and buy food but McD. I hadnt had McD for almost half a year and I have always come to McD only for its Fries. But tonight I decided to drive thru one that is close to house. My sister went out with her friends eating out so I could order what I wanted without her concern. Then I ordered Large Fries and Sweet BBQ Bacon with Chicken but what I got were Sweet BBQ Bacon with Chicken "AND" Large Sprite. Hahah I was laughing so hard to myself that I probably sounded Sprite instead of Fries. The lady apologized and kept asking me whether I wanted to wait for a while and she would come back with the fries but I refused because I would then create a very long line on the back. I decided to just take the soda and went home. The last time I drank soda was 2 months ago and it was sprite. Lucky this time i got sprite not Coke, because i will throw it away if its a coke. The person at the cash register didn't know how to operate it this morning. It took awhile to get help to work it right. They couldn't provide any receipts because the register wasn't working properly. They didn't complete the order properly. They gave me one item when I paid for two. Glad I checked. Around 10:15 pm, 11-24-18, my friend, and I stopped at McDonald's. I went to the order kiosk, and ordered one large Coke, and one large unsweetened tea with three chocolate chip cookies. We grabbed our table number, and sat at our table. There were no customers inside, and barely any cars in the drive through. While we were sitting, three employees were behind the counter laughing their heads off having a good conversation. As long as they got the order right I didn't care. Roughly around 10:26 pm, My friend realized they weren't paying attention or didn't care about our order, so he took the receipt, and asked for an update for our order. The one employee said they were waiting on the cookies. So finely, my friend comes back with the order. Three hard, cold chocolate chip cookies, one large unsweetened tea, and one large empty cup with no Coke. I didn't see the point in having a table number being that my friend brought us the order instead of one of the employees. So in conclusion, the service was terrible, especially for a very simple quick order. Who hires the staff for the night shift? The staff was lazy, inattentive, and lied about waiting for fresh cookies when they clearly weren't. I rarely write reviews, and complain, but definitely recommend new management, and staff in order to avoid this from happening again to future customers. read more

My family and I came here for breakfast, but my son was not in the mood for breakfast. So we asked an associate what time they would begin serving lunch. He said 10:30AM, and because it was 10:00AM when we asked, my son agreed to wait. So there he sat waiting for 10:30 so he could eat. And when everyone was done eating, we waited another ten minutes because it was not 10:30 yet. When it was finally time, we went and ordered a large ten piece meal of chicken nuggets. That's when we were told that they did not start serving lunch until 11:00. The worker who we asked was told of his mistake, and he stood there and stared at us without saying a word. Throughout the thirty minutes we waited there, he never thought to come over and let us know that he was mistaken. Apart from that, the pancakes tasted like they were microwaved in a strange way. The workers should be trained well to handle situations like this, let alone at least have the morals to been able to solve the problem on his own. I would not come to this location again. In the end, my son ended up having to sit there hungry. Be that as it may, I recognize that it is not the workers fault that my son did not want breakfast. However, if he knew there was a problem that could be fixed, he did not do anything about it. Nor did he even apologize when we left. read more

VERY disapointed! I walked into the store placed my order along with a fried Apple pie. The woman taking my order said they don't have them. Got 4 chicken snack wraps and fries, as soon as the bag was handed to me, I checked it to make sure my food was all correct... well, the food was all there, however I noticed, after touching one of the wraps, it was cold, so I asked the bootleg employee when it was made and why it was cold, she just said it's because of the ranch. Ranch my azz. But anyhow, I took her word for it, and went home. Opened the snack wrap, chicken looked shady, but I took a bite anyway. Somehow I stopped right at where the mold was without knowing. I own a small business right around the corner from this McDonald's. I come here about 4 times a month every time I dine in there is always multiple flys in the dining room VERY DISGUSTING! I saw them buzzing around the soft serve machine because the catch tray was full of caramel and strawberry syrup never cleaned. Might i mention there were only 6 people in the dining room. I spoke with a manager on duty his name is James from the second I walked in he was busy flirting with the female staff, I confronted him about the fly situation and his response was "the owner can't afford to put those fly fans that most restaurants have" that is ridiculous and should have a new health inspection done. Then I received my food it was good and hot but the sweet tea was not prepared correctly it was regular tea not a big deal I can put sugar in it. So I went to get ketchup and a large lid wouldn't you know, both empty and should of been checked a long time ago it's is entirely the mangers responsibilities to maintain proper cleaning and maintaining of the lobby. As far as the owner goes he owns 11 stores James said now why can't I afford to do it proper instead of getting complaints a woman right before me was complaining as well about how UN-SANITARY THAT PLACE WAS.
