Irwindale is a small city located by the 210 Pasadena freeway. They had one Starbucks location (15700 Irwindale Ave), but it closed months ago. Today a new location opened (next door to Wendy's) with a small indoor seating area (with free Wifi), a large outside patio area, and convenient drive-thru service. The employees were still organizing a few areas inside when I arrived. They were very friendly and overall seemed to be happy to be back in this city. I ordered a new food item: Spicy Falafel hot Pocket in a toasted flatbread. It was tasty but rather small for $4.95. It is the going rate at all locations, just know it's snack size and most likely for adults due to the spice-level. You can place your order online for a quick pickup. Two dedicated parking spaces by the entrance are available for pickup orders. They did not have a grand opening special going on. I just went to go pick up my mobile order & a tall guy with a stank face & attitude asking if I need help with anything, clearly looking at me grabbing my drinks, as if I was in the way. I kindly ask if I can have another cup holder, rudely throws his stuff down from what he's doing & aggressively hands me over the cup holder, as if I'm the issue. Stopped by today to pick up my mobile order. I couldn't get off, so I had to go through the drive-thru. When I pulled up, I told the associate I was there for a mobile order. She checked and said it was ready. I had placed it literally 5 minutes before. I was surprised how quick service was here. There were 2 cars in front of me, but even they didn't take long to get their orders. When I pulled up to the window, the girl had my drinks ready to go. She was so nice and seemed friendly. I did see quite a few people inside. Mostly on laptops. This seems like a good location to work at or even do drive-thru. I will come back whenever I'm in the area. read more

There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was grabbing my drink from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is very small. It is always packed since it is super close to the freeway. Park at Wendy's if the lot is full. Drink: I ordered a grande iced mango dragonfruit drink. It's one of my top 5 favorite drinks at Starbucks. Perfect for the summer. Not too sweet. My go-to Starbucks location because of convenience. Recently, I've been ordering from the app and when I walk into Starbucks, they have the order ready for pickup or they have it within 5 min. Through the app, it's easier to make customizations. This location has a drive-thru and on most mornings there are usually a line of cars. DRINK: I usually order frappacinos and lattes and they are delicious. I love milk, so anything with milk tastes good to me. SERVICE: great service. My visits to this Starbucks was always quick and easy and the employees are friendly. I would come here as long as I'm around the area, and I go whenever my coworkers want a coffee run. read more

09/19/2018 Came to this location many times before. Seems like each time I stop here, the drive-thru line gets longer and longer. I would rather park and walk inside. This gives my car a rest and a chance to stretch my legs. It's nice inside with quite a few tables for such a small space. This is only convenient for me if traffic sucks on the 605 freeway and I have to take this shortcut through Arrow Highway. The baristas are nice and gets my drink correct. I used to come here daily, and unfortunately, today I must leave a negative review. Overall, the team that works here is amazing. They greet me by name whenever they see me, their thoughtfulness is appreciated. However, this morning was different. Jenn wasn't feeling it and wasn't as busy as usual. I stood at the mobile pick-up, but she glanced at me without asking my name or acknowledging my order. I waited until she finished making two drinks, then mentioned that I thought my drink might be ready since I wasn't acknowledged. Her response was, 'Well, what's your name?' in a rude tone. Came to meet a friend after a run. It was only 8:25am Not very busy inside (4 people) but maybe drive-thru was busy. No smiles, not very friendly, no milk or cream of any kind at napkin station. Crew didn't seem to even Like/chat with each-other. My breakfast sandwich was not heated through. Storefront did look clean and organized .. but my food and coffee not as pretty. I asked for a venti cold brew with a splash of almond milk and sweet vanilla cold foam. What I got was a venti cold brew, half of it was almond milk and no cold foam. When I told the girl at the counter she said it probably melted with a little attitude in her voice. So I asked if I can get more she said they can give it to me on the side. I said sure. It's a café latte and proceeded to charge me for vanilla which is not charged in a blonde vanilla latte when I asked her at the window if she could process the drink as a blonde vanilla latte instead of a café latte so that I don't get charged extra. "She said I don't know. I'm just a barista. I just work here. I don't know anything about the app.Let me get my manager."
