First timer! I finally found the courage to try this place. Courage meaning I didn't want to make that sharp right turn into the lot as well as deal with parking. Anyways, I went earlier this week and when I walked in, there was shockingly no other customers there. I was greeted when and the woman asked me if I had any questions. The horchata iced latte is what caught my eye. And the $7.32 is what pained my heart. Definitely on the pricier side...but what isn't these days? I got my latte and I was give a cute pink heart shape straw. Its all about the details! The drink itself was strong in terms of the horchata-y taste. I didn't really taste any coffee (I don't even think there is any in the drink I ordered? Lol) I didn't try any pastries as I had already eaten at that time. I had the cutest Agua Fresca (Agua de Paraiso) which was Jamaica iced tea with Sugar-Free Vanilla Foam. For $2 extra, your selfie photo can be added on top and super cute like mine {*:*}. The drink menu is extensive and impressive, in Alpha order: Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso, Chai Lattes, Cold Brew, Espresso, Horchata, Lemonade, Matcha Cloud, Mexican Hot Chocolate (Abuelita and Mazapan), Tea (hot or iced) and more! They didn't have the Pumpkin Pie Horchata, as recommended by Sam, so I shall return! This place has been bookmarked for a bit. I finally made it. It's hidden off of Foothill so if you drive fast you'll miss it. Slow down. There is a sign on the sidewalk to help out too. Plenty of parking for a Sunday. Maybe though when the other businesses are open during the week. It's a cool atmosphere inside employees greet you as you come in and plenty of seating if you dine in. The cutest little coffee shop ! The baristas are super sweet and friendly and offer helpful suggestions from their menu. I tried their Los Laureles Latte and my husband tried their cold brew. Both very good! I like that mine wasn't overly coconutty flavored~~ it was just perfect ! The stuffed bagels are pretty big! Jalapeño Cheese Bagel with Chive and Onion Cream Cheese: 5/5 Topped with jalapeno slices and crispy toasted cheese, the bagel itself had a great chewy texture, and the jalapeño and cheese added the perfect savory kick without being too spicy. The chive and onion cream cheese paired perfectly with the bagel, adding a creamy, herbaceous flavor that complemented the jalapeño and cheese really well. They were also very generous with the cream cheese spread, so each bite was incredibly flavorful and well balanced. The first time I came here was during the 2025 fires, when my mom lost her home. They opened their doors to the community so people could come in, charge phones, use Wi-Fi, and just have a safe place to sit for a while. At the time, my own area had lost electricity too, so their kindness really meant a lot. A year later, in May 2026, I came back because I could not stop thinking about the guava pastry I had tried before -- and somehow it was EVEN better than I remembered. It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture before eating the whole thing I also ordered a ham sandwich on a jalapeño bagel with everything on it, and it was amazing. That one at least survived long enough for a photo! The location is tucked inside a business-looking building, so if you see the UPS sign, you're in the right spot. There's also a fingerprint scanning place in the same area. Inside is super cute and cozy with seating to hang out. It's not the most private if you want a quiet solo space, but it's perfect for meeting up with a friend for coffee or a little friend date. After some seriously time- consuming consideration, I eventually landed on their Strawberry Crunch Matcha and their seasonal Pumpkin Pie Horchata. Sadly, the strawberry crunch matcha was unremarkable in my opinion. I personally felt like the strawberry puree was too light and subtle, and would have preferred if the strawberry flavor was more prominent. The pumpkin pie horchata, on the other hand, was outstanding! Made with housemade pumpkin puree, a housemade pumpkin spice syrup, and their housemade horchata, the drink was truly inspiring. Super cute lil cafe spot in Azusa on foothill right across from the old movie drive thru sign. This is my second time here and didn't disappoint. I came in on Sunday when it wasn't even busy and still had to wait about 20 minutes for my coffee, which was really frustrating. There were three employees behind the counter, but it didn't feel like there was any sense of urgency. The young lady at the register had an unpleasant attitude, and instead of focusing on orders, she turned around and started chatting and flirting with a coworker. It honestly felt like they weren't prioritizing getting orders done, which made the whole experience worse. I've had much better experiences during the weekdays, especially when the older women is there service is quicker and more professional. Overall, this visit left me pretty pissed. The coffee didn't even taste the same as it usually does. I hope management looks into improving weekend staffing and customer service. To your response : I read your response, and honestly, it comes off more defensive than helpful. You can list timestamps, review footage, and explain internal processes all you want, but none of that changes the actual customer experience. We waited around 18 minutes for drinks in what looked like an empty café. If there were multiple orders ahead of us, that clearly wasn't communicated, and that's part of the problem. Trying to discredit my review by saying it's "not supported by the facts" is a bit much. My review reflects exactly what we experienced standing there. From our point of view, there was a lack of urgency, and the staff did not appear focused on getting orders out. That's not an "attack," it's an observation. Also, the tone of your response is pretty telling. Instead of acknowledging how the situation could have been handled better from a customer perspective, you chose to argue and basically suggest we're wrong. That's not a great look for a business. The jalapeño cheddar bagel was fluffy and not oily, and with the cream cheese? Breakfast bliss. We were so satisfied eating this, we're glad we had ordered another one! Highly recommend for a slow morning meal. The almond croissant was lightly toasted and our kiddo enjoyed it. It was flaky and fluffy. The cookie butter chai and cookie butter latte were also yummy! I feel like a lot of places offer cookie butter beverages, but a lot of them feel sludgy and make my stomach hurt even with non-dairy options. This chai was flavored and imbued with cookie butter but was still light and didn't make me regret my choices. Such a well-balanced offering! They also make different flavors of cold foams for your iced coffees and lattes. If you only care about the food and drinks I will say give it a go. I found this place back in May and have loved it so much I've been constantly returning and recommending to family/coworkers/Friends. I think it a little pricey however I have no problem paying extra for something I enjoy. The one star is for customer service explained below. Pertaining to the one star: I recently had a visit that left me feeling less than human. I placed an order for pick up to get me through the work day. Something I've done many many times before sometimes even bringing bagels for my coworkers. If you order ahead of time, it tells you when the order will be ready from my prior experience it's often ready sooner. When I arrived I waited in line to check the order status same as the lady in front of me who also had a pick up order. In no way shape or form did I expect my order to be ready early I was just checking since in the past it had been. After waiting quite some time for them to service people ahead of me I was about to walk up to the register when someone runs in asking for a pick up order. I made eye contact with the young cashier since it was clear I waited and was next. The cashier didn't smile or greet me she just coldly asked me to wait then helped the person who ran in. I had waited in line to ask about my order while this person was being allowed to run ahead of everyone for his . They didn't bother to check if anyone waiting had a pick up order prior to helping him they didn't even clarify why his order was more urgent and important. I hope it's understandable why this was really bothersome it came across cold and unwelcoming. Fortunately another worker walked up, and I didn't wait much longer to hear my order wasn't ready which I fully understood. I stepped away to wait for my order choosing not to say anything about the poor service or the person cutting. It wasn't until another worker asked if I had been helped I attempted to vocalize my concern but immediately regretted saying anything. This worker showed no empathy, was more focused on explaining why I was incorrect saying they prioritize pick up orders at one point did give a forced insincere apology followed with "regardless your order was scheduled to be ready". I vocalized in the past I've always waited in line and never ran ahead of everyone to get my pick up order. The worker became more defensive not acknowledging the poor unwelcoming treatment I experienced just gave another forced apology and reiterated pick up orders walk up. The whole situation felt unresolved completely mishandled and confusing as she walked away to keep working. Later I calmly attempted to clarify the next time I place an order I don't have to wait in line if there's one I can walk up and just ask for the order? She immediately responded with no you have to wait orders aren't ready until the schedule pick up time. Please let it be known the person allowed to walk up and cut everyone had an order that was not ready and asked to wait so this response made zero sense. The response seemed odd, dismissive and left me even more confused. I felt they were overall annoyed I even bothered them. I was heartbroken and in shock at the lack of kindness I was experiencing at a place I had previously loved and recommended to everyone. My anxiety was through the roof and tears were swelling up from everything that just happened. When I did get my order it was in complete missing 3/4 of the order. The young cashier handed me my drink and told me to have a good day missing all my food items. After everything and apologies they still messed up my order confirming they never cared to make it right. Attempt to avoid bursting into tears I told them this is so awful Im missing all my food I think I just need a refund forget the order completely. The worker with no empathy knowing I just received an incomplete order and told to have a good day didn't acknowledge me and told the cashier to refund me. The cashier was servicing someone else and the missing items ended up being finished sooner than a refund so notified them I couldn't wait anymore longer I will take the completed order and forget the refund. I made a last attempt to speak to the worker about how I felt dismissed and was on the verge of tears hoping it was all a misunderstanding even calling after I left although they listened it was clear apologies given were forced and they wouldn't acknowledge the poor service. The day of this event I really really felt my business did not matter to them they didn't need my money. It became less about the person cutting and all about the awful carelessness they had to treating a customer raising a concern. They were unbothered about losing a customer. I don't believe I'll be returning or recommending anymore. I would hate for anyone else to experience this. We found this spot on Yelp. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and my BFF ordered the banana cream pie latte. We weren't a fan of our drinks. I could barely taste the matcha and my bff could barely taste the coffee. It was mostly milk and whatever additives they put in was what we tasted. I ordered the La calabasa matcha latte for my girlfriend, but I asked to modify in a way where there was more pumpkin and less matcha. All my girlfriend could taste was the matcha and barely any pumpkin. My bff ordered their pistachio croissant . She thought it was okay because it lacked flavor. The second time we went on a Friday and it was pretty busy so the drinks did take awhile but given that it's a new establishment it's understandable. I see other comments with complaints about the wait time. This isn't a chain coffee shop with multiple workers. When we went it was only two workers. Overall the service is amazing and the drinks are good. Cute tables and couches for you to enjoy your food and drinks or to work collaboratively. They have wifi if you need to connect your laptop. Such a cute little shop that can be easy to miss! It's in the same building as the UPS Store so turn into the parking lot there. I love their color scheme and theme, though I do find their menu hard to read because the screens are far away and the font is so tiny. Thankfully, they have pictures and descriptions of popular drinks on a display at the counter and the pastries are on display in the case. Their pistachio almond croissant looked so delicious in the case and the employee recommended it, so I decided on that and a mazapan latte. The croissant was a bit dry and I felt that the almond flavor overpowered the pistachio, but it was yummy nonetheless. The mazapan latte was very sweet and overpowering, so I recommend asking for at least 50% sweetness if you prefer a stronger coffee flavor and less sugar. read more

After my hike today I went in to Bake sale to check out their Matcha. This cute little coffee place is very inviting. I was greeted the minute I walked in the door. They have so many drink options it was hard to choose. I ended up getting Strawberry Crunch Matcha and my friend had the tres leches latte and a tres leaches croissant. Pastries were great, pizza bagel was so yummy Banana foster matcha was definetly a great matcha, tasted natural and no artificial flavor at all. Definetly best matcha in this area that I've tried.
