    Love the straw!
    Alex C.

This place has been bookmarked for a bit. I finally made it. It's hidden off of Foothill so if you drive fast you'll miss it. Slow down. There is a sign on the sidewalk to help out too. Plenty of parking for a Sunday. Maybe though when the other businesses are open during the week. It's a cool atmosphere inside employees greet you as you come in and plenty of seating if you dine in. The menu has plenty of drinks to choose from and bakery items and sandwiches as well. All made in house. Ordered pistachio croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were great I didn't even take a picture to upload. Lol. Tres Leches Latte I would recommend. The Mango Palmer was great. Actual mango purée in the drink, no flavoring here. That was a plus. I loved the heart straw. Will probably check this place out again.

The cutest little coffee shop ! The baristas are super sweet and friendly and offer helpful suggestions from their menu. I tried their Los Laureles Latte and my husband tried their cold brew. Both very good! I like that mine wasn't overly coconutty flavored~~ it was just perfect ! The stuffed bagels are pretty big! I think I'd probably share mine next time but it's served hot and it's packed with flavor. I personally like the jalapeno popper one better. I recommend checking out this spot !

This place is so close by my house. I'm so glad my friend recommended this spot to me. Sooooo delicious. Fresh ingredients. The pistachio butter latte actually tastes of pistachio. And the coffee woke me up!!!! Service is so friendly and inviting and they are so informative. Ambiance is modern and sweet. I will def be coming back for more coffees and I can't wait to bring my daughter. She will love it here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

    Cookie Butter Matcha Latte

After loving the pastries and drinks during my last visit, I couldn't resist coming back to try more! The menu is full of inventive twists on classic favorites that make it hard to choose just one item. Eventually, I settled on one of their signature drinks paired with a quick bite to eat. Banana Foster Matcha Latte with Banana Cold Foam: 5/5 Made with banana milk, caramel, and ceremonial grade matcha, the blend of the matcha and housemade banana milk works surprisingly well together, balancing the grassy notes of the matcha with the natural sweetness of the banana. The banana milk was so delicious and you could really taste the freshness of the banana puree with every sip. With the addition of the caramel, it cuts through the earthiness of the matcha with a rich and toasted flavor and pairs well with the creamy, mellow banana flavor. The banana cold foam was a bit underwhelming, tasting more like a typical dairy/milk foam with only a faint hint of banana. I would absolutely order this drink again, though I'd likely opt for a caramel cold foam instead. Jalapeño Cheese Bagel with Chive and Onion Cream Cheese: 5/5 Topped with jalapeno slices and crispy toasted cheese, the bagel itself had a great chewy texture, and the jalapeño and cheese added the perfect savory kick without being too spicy. The chive and onion cream cheese paired perfectly with the bagel, adding a creamy, herbaceous flavor that complemented the jalapeño and cheese really well. They were also very generous with the cream cheese spread, so each bite was incredibly flavorful and well balanced. This is hands-down one of the best bagels I've had in a long time and it's definitely worth trying! Overall so happy to have yet another fantastic experience at Bake Sale! Their drinks are definitely the highlight, but you shouldn't sleep on their delicious pastries and bold, savory bagels. Bake Sale consistently delivers memorable treats that are worth every bite and sip. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

A little hidden in a commercial lot but so worth it!!! I originally went because I kept hearing about their printing on cold foam so. Not just a novelty - they're drinks and pastries are amazing! And customer service is Everyone was super friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Another amazing local spot

First time visiting from Florida. I wanted to support local coffee shops while I'm here. I ordered a latte with coconut syrup, and a bagel. The coffee was not the greatest, pretty watered down. The bagel was basic but good, I actually enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the staff and service are not very friendly or genuine. Once walking into the store there's no feeling of warmth and culture. I was pretty disappointed that my sister's request was denied or handled rudely and subtly sarcastic.

Bake sale is cute and cozy, with good WiFi, outlets lining the walls (a huge plus), and a shared parking lot that makes life easier! Also-the heart-shaped straw? Very cute!!! I ordered the cookie butter matcha, and while it was good, I think next time I'll try something a bit simpler. The cookie butter definitely overpowered the matcha flavor- not a complaint since I love cookie butter, just something to note if you're a matcha purist lol. The bakery items all looked really good, and I'm definitely excited to come back and try some next time. Overall, this was a great way to start the day before the day really started. I worked here for about an hour before heading to work, and the space felt comfortable and calm for getting things done!

The Lunch Sandwich on Jalapeno Cheese Bagel

The first time I came here was during the 2025 fires, when my mom lost her home. They opened their doors to the community so people could come in, charge phones, use Wi-Fi, and just have a safe place to sit for a while. At the time, my own area had lost electricity too, so their kindness really meant a lot. A year later, in May 2026, I came back because I could not stop thinking about the guava pastry I had tried before -- and somehow it was EVEN better than I remembered. It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture before eating the whole thing I also ordered a ham sandwich on a jalapeño bagel with everything on it, and it was amazing. That one at least survived long enough for a photo! The location is tucked inside a business-looking building, so if you see the UPS sign, you're in the right spot. There's also a fingerprint scanning place in the same area. Inside is super cute and cozy with seating to hang out. It's not the most private if you want a quiet solo space, but it's perfect for meeting up with a friend for coffee or a little friend date. Highly recommend -- not just for the food, but for the kindness and community they showed when people needed it most.

Stopped by Bake Sale for a couple of drinks and really enjoyed it. Ordered the blueberry lemonade and a horchata. Both were on point. The horchata didn't taste as traditional as I expected, but it had a good coffee balance and was still enjoyable. The blueberry lemonade was solid with a nice mix of flavors. The space itself is a great spot for a date with good presentation all around. The staff was friendly, and the overall vibe felt welcoming and comfortable -- almost like home.

Pumpkin pie horchata & Strawberry matcha
    Sam B.

#173 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. How in the world are we supposed to decide what to order when there are so many drinks that all sound amazing?! After some seriously time- consuming consideration, I eventually landed on their Strawberry Crunch Matcha and their seasonal Pumpkin Pie Horchata. Sadly, the strawberry crunch matcha was unremarkable in my opinion. I personally felt like the strawberry puree was too light and subtle, and would have preferred if the strawberry flavor was more prominent. The pumpkin pie horchata, on the other hand, was outstanding! Made with housemade pumpkin puree, a housemade pumpkin spice syrup, and their housemade horchata, the drink was truly inspiring. Last up is the Tres Leches latte, which I tried during my second trek out here, and it was superb! Overall, Bake Sale is a cute coffeeshop with a wide variety of unique caffeineted and non-caffeinated drinks. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

    Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte
    Shekainah S.

I love this little coffee shop! It's so cute and pink. I got their seasonal drink, mango sticky rice matcha latte and it definitely did not disappoint. Mangoes are in season now and it's the perfect drink for the summer season. Each drink comes with a cute, pink, heart shaped straw too! I will be coming here often. Parking is plenty. It's a little hidden but you should see it in the same plaza as the UPS Store.

    Cinnamon Bun
    Jessica C.

An absolute adorable hidden little gem!! Blink and you may miss it, but please don't cause you have to stop in and try it!!! We had a cinnamon bun and Jalapeno cheese croissant and both were so flavorful and tasty!! We also had a pistachio butter matcha latte and abuelita's hot chocolate, both hit the spot!!(my daughter was shocked I finished my hot chocolate cause I usually don't from other places) I cannot wait to go back hopefully this weekend to try some breakfast sandwiches!! The dining area is very chill and inviting and comfortable, but the BEST part is the service! The employees were all so incredibly nice and wonderful and you can tell they value customer service as every customer that came in was also very happy to see and speak with them. Will absolutely be coming back (probably more than I should lol)

Super cute lil cafe spot in Azusa on foothill right across from the old movie drive thru sign. This is my second time here and didn't disappoint. So far I got the horchata latte twice, churro cheesecake, cinnamon roll and apple bread pudding and just finished eating the jalapeno cheese bagel The horchata latte taste so good and I added the brown sugar cinnamon cold foam sooo yummy The jalapeno cheese bagel is sooo tasty and the bread is perfect. I shared my other half and now I regret it because it was the perfect bite with my latte. Everyone who works there is always so nice and has smiles on their faces. I think this is family owned I will definitely venture out and try their matcha drinks since I've recently become a fan. Price $$ could be a lil higher than your Starbucks or coffee bean but honestly so unique and flavorful much rather go here than those places.

As well as having…read moreincredible coffee, which started me on my coffee journey, the staff are incredible, the managers Adam and David do an amazing job to make the place feel like a warm and caring environment. Employees there are very kind and seem to take an interest in everyone who walks in the door. Recently an incident occurred that I have nothing but respect for how the staff handled. A now former regular, who I will be keeping anonymous for obvious reasons, was banned from the store for openly racist remarks and verbally harassing staff. I was not personally present for it, but that is accurate to my experience with said person. They have repeatedly made racist and classist comments and have pretty heavy handedly push their ideological views to me. After banning said customer, they proceeded to threaten and harass the staff, from what I saw in regards to the banning, the manager Adam handled it with more respect and elegance than I believed necessary. Despite his tact, she took that as an opportunity to go on a tangent of excessive profanity and slurs. I think it's very telling about the type of people who work at Penny that they value maintaining a safe and welcoming environment even in the face of bullying and harassment. I've never felt more inclined to go to penny than I do now. Thank you guys for what you do and keep up the good work. You guys are rock stars fr!!

I've been a loyal customer of Pennys Coffee since they opened in Azusa. Over the years, I've spent…read morethousands of dollars here and have recommended the shop to many friends and others in the coffee community. Unfortunately, my experience with the shop changed because of repeated interactions with the store manager, Adam and the event that had just happened. I want the owners to be aware of concerns I have regarding the atmosphere created by management. On multiple occasions, I have heard Adam speak negatively about the owners and other baristas in front of customers. I have also experienced him bringing personal and political opinions into conversations while working, which I feel creates an uncomfortable/unprofessional environment. He works every Monday so I can't even sit on the only couch and drink my coffee in peace, he's always talking nonsense and forcing his personal opinions down my throat. He never stops talking, and if you try to share your opinion, he talks right over you. He has a veryyy hard time accepting viewpoints that differ from his own. He's honestly on some sort of power trip. The most concerning incident occurred recently when Adam yelled in my face while inside the coffee shop!! Then the other barista, David got involved with his encouragement during this interaction. They surrounded me and were trying to intimidate me together and at that time there were no other customers in the store, and when I tried to speak to them to tell them to stop yelling at me- they went at me harder to the point I had to literally run out of the shop bc I didn't feel safe there. It's the first time I have ever had two men corner me and yell at me- it was honestly traumatizing. After leaving, I informed David that I would never be returning. I believed that would be the end of the situation. However, David provided Adam with my personal phone number without my permission, and Adam contacted me by text after I had already left the store in an effort to intimidate me further. During that exchange, Adam also accused me of being racist. I found it completely inappropriate that my personal information was shared without my consent so that a workplace conflict could continue outside of the store. I also want to address an issue with David. Throughout my visits, you have repeatedly attempted to hug me or touch me when I came into the shop. Regardless of your intentions, this made me uncomfortable. Customers should not be touched without their consent. I also work in the business of customer service, and I understand the importance of professionalism. I would never speak negatively about my employer to customers, push personal or political views on people supporting my business, yell at a customer, or use a customer's personal information to continue a confrontation after they leave. It's disappointing because I did like this coffee shop and wanted to continue supporting it. However, my experiences with Adam and David traumatized me. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously and address them so other customers do not have similar experiences.

Parking is easy since the parking lot is BIG and spacious. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Staff quickly answered any questions. Customers can order at the counter or self-service kiosk. My drink took two minutes and five seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I liked the Blushe ($5 -- 70% Sugar). It's a tea with good ingredients, but personally I'd recommend selecting a lower sweetness. Also, if you're not a fan of rose or perfume-like drinks, this might not be fit your palate. Still, it's prepared thoughtfully, and the price is ridiculously competitive. I sipped with a small smile. On ambiance, Yoxi Teatime (Glendora) is an AMAZING option for study/work. The location is well-maintained and generous! The air condition is STRONG, and the location is chill and refreshing. There's also about four electrical outlets. And there's customer internet with password; details are proudly displayed on the Game Corner counter and the Ordering counter. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. In addition, Yoxi Teatime (Glendora) is charming and very clean. This business has fun colors and aesthetic decor. There's about five tables, and there's a Game Corner (etc: Chess, Guess Who, Mancala, Etc). There's even two mini crane games to play. I also enjoyed the soft, upbeat pop music.
