This McDonalds always has something up. Sometimes the 2 drive through windows aren't open, and they will block the 2nd lane using a ramp, but will put the ramp way into the 2nd lane, having you pretty much drive in before having to try to back out. If your going to block a lane, block it at the time the line splits not later into the lane when it's too late. They don't take 2 forms of payment. I sometimes don't have money on one card I have it on 2 or some in cash. They won't take that. They also refuse to split even 1 order if you have 2 in the vehicle. They post the wrong prices and deals on their board and they do not honor it Everyone else honors their mistake as far as if they post sometime is for 5$ they sell it for that $5. It's not a customers fault they do not have the adequate amount of employees to function. In the end the 1 manager did apologize but didn't rectify the situation. Plus they didn't have time to change it but now they will have time to cover it. Also beware of ordering chicken or breakfast, it's going to take awhile! read more

WORST MC DONALDS EVER! I've grown up on Mason rd in Katy so I have come to this locations numerous times during my short 25 yrs of life, and every time I have come here something has happened. Be it in the morning or the afternoon or late at night they either forget food if you come in drive thru, so I've learned to triple check everything before driving off. They also manage to somehow get the order wrong even though it's right on the screens. Ask for no mustard. First bite I take is a bun full of mustard. I don't expect much, I used to work at Dairy Queen on Mason rd myself at 16-18 so I get that it gets hectic but enough is enough this establishment is just terrible. Poor Customer service, I ordered a big breakfast today, 4 hash browns an orange juice and 2 small coffees. I ordered in through the mobile app as a curbside pickup, but when I got there there was no more curbside parking spot so I switched it to drive-thru pick up. Tell me why a worker was so rude, he only gave me the bag of "big breakfast" and the gas browns but no drinks. And when I didn't move he opened the window again and said "Yes ma'am anything else?" With an attitude and I said what about the drinks? He proceeded with an attitude while giving me just the coffees and I asked him if I could get a cup holder and when he gave it to me he close the window again, and when I didn't move he once again with an attitude asked me "anything else?" Highly disappointed in the cross contamination that happened with my food today. I WATCHED an employee hand my order to the wrong car waiting in the togo pick up line. As I was at the drive thru window. The lady poked her head out and said (Ohhh no, he is taking your food to that car) I then watched as the person grabbed the bag OPENED it up and went through it and hand it back... Then the EMPLOYEE decided to also grab the bag of food BACK from the person and PUT HIS HANDS IN MY FOOD... It's a McDonalds. When desperate for food on a busy day, it does the job. Nobody comes here thinking it's health food although you can find some healthy options if you try and do a bit of research before you go in. It's even easier now that they have the calorie counts on the menu. The staff here? Need a quick coffee and this is the best option around? Keep driving, I waited 15 mins after paying and "pulling forward" while 10 cars behind me got their orders.. I know that there are sensors in the ground at McDs to show how speedy their service is, I also know that telling a car to pull forward so someone can bring the order out to you is rigging the system to the mangers advantage.. This place was fine. We got a happy meal and a McChicken sandwich with a drink. We sat in the indoor playground area. An employee brought the food to me pretty quickly and noticed that our drinks were missing. She brought it over and wished us well. The food was what you imagine McDonalds food is like. This place is horrible. I ordered the 6pc tender meal with an unsweet tea via ubereats. When my order arrived it was completely wrong. I received an artisan sandwich and a coke. Wow. The customer service is soooo terrible I attempted to call them to advise of the wrong order in hopes I could just come pick up the correct order. No one answered their phone even after I made three attempts. I do not expect fancy food from a fast food place, but anywhere I spend money I at least expect standard customer service. This McDonalds has gotten better over the years. The food is always pretty fresh as well. Let's not forget how fresh their drinks are! If you ask for no salt on your fries, you get some pretty awesome fast food fries. Don't forget to check your order before you leave the drive thru. Luckily, I've had no problems lately with forgotten items. The management has hired two younger fellows (I believe they are asst managers) and they really have improved customer service.
