They get one extra star for being so nice, but the bread and ingredients tasted old, the toppings were skimpy (not in a sexy way), and it just didn't taste the way a Firehouse sandwich should. I think Firehouse is going the way of Subway (as in, ugh), if this location is anything to go by. Too much expansion, not enough love and attention to detail. But amazing service. Like always, firehouse does not disappoint. This location is closest to my house and work so I frequent this location. The subs are always great, I get a hook and ladder on white bread the way it comes. This visit, the soda machine had very limited options, I was annoyed at first, but then this just made me try something I normally wouldn't have. I ended up getting minute made fruit punch. We are a fan of their hook and ladder sandwich as well as their cherry limeade drink however this visit was very disappointing. Its unfortunate that we walked in when their "system went down" and their GM just flat out said that hey are no longer taking any orders. I'm a business owner myself and just because a system crashing doesnt mean you shut down the business and there is tons of other restaurants neighboring this location. Manager/owner with a bad attitude. The parking lot was full. Yet they had their delivery vehicle parked on 1 of the only 2 spots on front of their shop. I am handicapped and the only spot available was In front was in front of Wild Wings on the complete opposite side of the complex. So my daughter went in and asked them nicely if they could park their delivery vehicle in the back of the store where there is plenty of parking as I was handicapped and we want to place an order for 4 sandwiches. Enjoyed my first visit to this Firehouse location. The store was very clean and the food was yummy. I had the Italian Salami and Grilled Chicken salad with honey mustard. The meat tasted good and there was plenty of it, and I loved the kalamata olives! What stood out for me on this visit was how polite the staff was, from placing the order to having our trays picked up when we were finished eating. Also, parents?
