The Mcfluery is now in a paper cup, and the toppings are no longer mixed in like it used to with a hole in the middle. It's just plopped right on top. VERY expensive compared to mainland. They have never gotten an order right yet! The fries are a big attraction there, but they dont fully cook them to golden brown. They act like they don't understand what you are saying. This mcd's is miles from the next...and they take advantage of this! The manager does nothing but pass the "storm" to the next person with no resolution. Very bad service, they wouldn' let me use my credit card, then they gave me the wrong food. I simply asked for a Reece's McFlurry and got an Oreo one. I also had to wait a long time for my food even though the place was empty. Other times when it's busy you may have to wait 15 minutes for fast food. This is not the place to go in Ketchikan. Most of the time they close at 10:30 or 11:00 even though it closes around midnight. Sometimes they mess up the drinks and you might get Fanta Orange when you are expecting Sprite. They also got rid of a very popular drink Hi-C. A lot of people liked this drink, and I hope they fix this soon. My friend got food poisoning from the breakfast there, so don't eat that either. Their ketchup is also very old and tastes like toothpaste. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because it has a good vibe. This was the best McDonald's I have ever had in my life. My Big Mac was so juicy I had an orgasm midway through. 10/10.

I know it's McDonalds but there's something to be said about quality service. That's why they're getting this rating. There was a small line but the line went quick, the service at the order screen and food pickup were both thorough and excellent and the food was good. All the condiments you would expect to get for the big breakfast were there and no attitude when I asked for additional condiments. That's how it should be. read more

We visit McDonald's occasionally and have found the orders placed are not always what you receive. This is frustrating for us since we have limited time for our lunch hour and typically spend a portion of it going back to the McDonald's to get our order corrected. Today, the swing manager working the order window couldn't even get our order correct. Each time I was going to speak she would interrupt me and wouldn't let me talk. After laborious effort, I finally gave up and drove to the window to place the order. I guess this must have upset her even more by showing me and my wife an attitude. The bottom line is she screwed up the order and didn't want to have to face the music. This McDonald's has a history of bad customer service in this community, don't think you are going to get the same level of quality service in Ketchikan that you receive in the lower 48...we just have to "accept" lower standards and the McDonald's in Ketchikan is exactly that. read more

We frequent this McDonald's fairly often. The staff is always super kind and attentive, and the food quality and speed of service is what you'd expect from McDonald's. As expected on an island, the prices are slightly higher than mainland USA but not by too much. You can find good deals ordering on the mobile app, but it's harder to customize your order that way. They offer a Military discount for those with with proper ID. The dining room and restrooms are usually pretty clean. They often seem to have an issue with people loitering, but there's plenty of seating so we can still usually find a space big enough for our group of 5-7 people. I've been to McDonald's restaurants from Hawaii to Florida and on average the Ketchikan Alaska drive through speed is outstanding compared to any other McDonald's I've visited. They do need to work on order accuracy as our orders often have small mistakes in both order input and order prep/output, but they're always happy to correct mistakes so just make sure you double check your order before leaving. read more

This place is beyond reasonable comprehension. A mcdouble is 2.25. In washington it is a dollar. So it costs 1.25 to ship the ingredients for a mcdouble to alaska??? No freakin way! To have your drink changed into a hot chocolate on a breakfast value meal it costs 2.40... so your buying a hot chocolate and paying for the drink you didnt want as well. They are soooo greedy. Every time I go there there is also a mistake or two in my order without fail. This place is horrible and discriminatory as well. There is zero diversity in the staff. It is all Indians. Stay far away. They undercook the fries and hash browns so they have shorter drive thru times. read more
