This place doesn't even deserve a star at all. I know it's a McDonald's but the trash is overflowing to the point, customers are just throwing it on the floor or leaving it on tables. They don't call out your number or name when your food is at the counter they just expect you to get a sense it's ready. The workers are so very unprofessional. The management is so bad they need new management. The bathrooms are filthy. Food all over the floor on the restaurant. Workers were just sitting around and cussing in the back. And they put your food together so sloppy. If you are at the lake and want McDonald's I highly recommend the one by KK or business 54 in Osage Beach. read more

This place is an absolute joke. They purposely choose not to serve people. It doesn't take 30 minutes to get three cars ordered. And if you get there before the drive thru closes, they will refuse to honor you were there before 11pm and shut the lights off and refuse to answer you. Honestly, if I could give a no-star to this McDonald's - I would. I cannot tell you how many times I have visited this location and been ripped-off on fries and cheese. Now, you may think this is such a petty complaint (and I tend to agree), but when this area is SOOO small and you have to drive 15 minutes just to get to a McDonald's.... it better be right! You ask for a Large Fry, they fill-up the box LESS than the Small Fry. You ask to ADD Cheese, oh they charge you that $0.30 but fails to put it on the sandwich! And we cannot forget the random "cleaning" of the shake machine at peak hours... Don't bother asking when the shake machine will be up & working again, because they say "uh, I don't know....two hours?" I would say the best story I have at this location is the coupon story... After five consecutive days (it was a rough week) of going to McDonalds I was finally fed up of my fries being skeeted. So I called and told the manager she needed to fix this. I explained how I had to dodge 7 deer to get there each time, it wasted my gas, I paid more tax on the Large Fry, etc... I used every line I could in the book to plump up the worth of my case.. haha... Next thing I know she said she was JUST hired at that location to fix the "Fry Dilemma".. I held back my laughter and said I appreciated her support on this matter... (still holding back my laughter). Then she tells me she wants my address to mail me value meal coupons. First of all, this town is small... and at that time, I was working for the best place at the Lake and didn't want this story to frequent the homes of co-workers... Secondly, lady, I am complaining about fries.... I want fries... I want them filled to the top as advertised. So, I get it through her head that I just want the fries to be filled to the top and we negotiate 9 FREE Large Fries. I gave her "my" name and for a year straight everytime I went to this McDonalds, I told them I have 6 fries left or 3 fries left or one time I said it was my last free fry.... and came back the next weekend and got two more. I felt more guilty eating free fries from McDonalds! So I stopped cashing-out on my free fries and went back to paying for them. And hot diggity dam, first time I did - they were back to skeeting my fries! So I told on myself to corporate.. that got me nowhere... Bottomline, expect a slow drive-thru, them to say "no" on the easiest request, and an occasional stripper from next store cutting in front of you when she's half naked & in between poll dances... fuck this place for real lmao we were there like 20 minutes before closing and we asked for 2 mcdoubles no pickle or onion and a big mac with light lettuce and no pickles and whatever dumb ass cunt of a cook that was working puts handfuls of lettuce and pickle on the big mac. didn't put onions on the doubles but put a handful of fucking pickles on it. don't come here at night they don't give a shit that we put money into their pockets on pay day. day service is good tho. read more

The employees seem nice enough. Yet the service is so "strange". This location makes their own hours. So don't expect to make last call down the street then hit the drive thru as it is random and usually closed. Today was a rare occasion that my food order was taken and I received it in a timely manner. (At 2pm) As usual the place is trashed and the workers are standing around talking at the counter. On a regular day at this location, it only takes one customer ahead of you to back up the system. The priority is obviously the drive through and the inside is just an inconvenience to them. I am able to frequent other locations and witness a standard. This location is below at all levels. The building looks normal inside and out. Perhaps more serious training and Mgmt. read more

Manager working the drive through last Sunday afternoon 7-30-17 should be fired. Horrible example of a leader, ownership should be concerned having this person employed. She was rude and could tell from her tone she cared very little about the customers. Other employees remarked this wasn't anything new. I've eaten here multiple times ans in the past month I've gotten my food home to only see something is wrong with the order...guess I have to diligently check every time to verify. I overhear people chattering to one another all the time while waiting for my food that I see sitting by the window. The morning crew is fast and friendly even when they're swamped they still get your order or faster than the evening crew. The evening crew is slow and rude no matter if they're busy or dead. Every single time I've come at night nobody is on their game. Many of the employees are standing around chatting instead of taking orders.. needless to say I'll drive an extra distance at night to avoid this location. read more

Today 6 cars behind us 3 in front had to wait over 15 min the manager came out said she cleared the screen and needed or receipt 10 min later food comes out missing item still and fries like warm. Need to fire all management and get better people in there. read more
