Went to Stewart's with another couple for breakfast. I and my friend got the steak and eggs. our steaks were tender and cooked perfectly to order. I got crispy hashbrowns with mine and they were grilled to perfection. The table also got a cinnamon roll to share which was huge and one of the best cinnamon rolls you can get. Well worth the stop. Our waitress Presley was great. Our coffees were never emptied, and our meals were served promptly and she was quite friendly. This is a place you must stop when in Bagnell Dam. read more

Been coming here since the 80's and love it so much. Had the sausage and cheese omelette yesterday and the breaded pork tenderloin today. Huge Tenderloin comes covered in gravy, hash browns, two eggs and toast. So good. That being said, I am NOT a fan of those giant cinnamon rolls. It's almost feels like a novelty item and doesn't really toast that great. But every other breakfast item there is awesome imo. read more

Breakfast menu covered every option you might want. Portions were ample. Green peppers, onions, and ham in omelets were pre-sautéed, bringing special flavors to entrees. Everyone gave their meals very high marks for taste. The atmosphere was "local town genuine" and decidedly un-chain-like. We ordered a giant cinnamon roll for the table. The food was good but it took a long time to get it and then they got some of the orders mixed up and it was very busy.

Honestly the service is top notch! We went to breakfast with family visiting from Texas and we were so disappointed. My husband ordered a pancake that was liquid in the center. My daughter and I walked to for breakfast yesterday. The man hosting and getting engine added to the list gave us an estimated time. Our wait was a tad bit longer, which is fine since it was an estimate. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, omelet, cinnamon roll, and pancake to go. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls w/extra icing for carry out. Picked up & back home within 15 min. Heated per instructions. The rolls were so hard I couldn't even cut through them with a steak knife! Ended up throwing away over 2 1/2 rolls. Extremely disappointing for over $24! read more

The food is always standard. Do not like the hash browns. Cut into potato cubes, hard. We live in Osage Beach, the Pancake house is great food, service and not loud like Stewart's is. They are more of a place for Tourists. Not good food. read more

Stewart's is a great traditional diner. I personally was so glad they offer carry out on weekends, unlike other restaurants nearby. We had the perfect breakfast here on our LOTO weekend. They also have benches available outside to sit on while you wait, as well as outdoor seating. This was another huge win since we travel with our dog. read more

This "hole in the wall" restaurant offers the typical breakfast foods. It seems as if it hasn't been updated since we've started coming to the Ozarks in 2000. While all the food was pretty tasty and heavily buttered, the gravy on the omelette and our order of biscuits & gravy was cold. The giant cinnamon roll is a gimmick that was too hard to pass up! It was delicious but impossible to finish. Our waitress wasn't very friendly but she got our order right and kept our glasses full. Fantastic in every way. Down-homey diner at the dam. Service by Ciara was the very best. She's hilarious and just like diner wait staff should be! I had the country fried pork tender. The half size was big enough and then some. The pepper gravy was creamy and temperature hot. The tender was perfect. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My table mate had the "diet" platter. It was HUGE!! You need an appetite for this one. Biscuits, eggs (your way), sausage patties, all covered with gravy. Truly delicious! Biscuits were fluffy and dense the way a perfect biscuit should be. Another table mate got the hash. Ciara described it perfectly. It was eaten before I could ask how it was.
