Not sure how it's possible to have a McDonald's this slow. 15 minutes for a Big Mac and nuggets? Cmon.

Poor service cold food very slow. The atmosphere Liselotte to be desired and this is after the renovation.

I've been wanting to check out St. Inie's Coffee, which is a combo of a coffee shop/bookstore -…read more We stuck with their Fall Menu, and I tried their Iced Pumpkin Pie Chai - this was prepared with housemade pumpkin pie sauce, cold steeped chai, and a choice of milk - I liked how they served this in a cute glass mason jar. If you can't finish your drink, they have this cool contraption of a paper to-go cup that you can request! The seating area was dimly list and plenty of tables; the only off-putting thing was that it smelled like urine; not sure if they need to do a deep-clean of the carpet? Staff were friendly, and the place seems pretty popular with the locals. Loved their various decor and signages, as they were fun to check out! Parking can be found around the back. +friendly service +bookstore on site +off-putting odors +parking in rear

I don't remember what this space used to be but it was definitely not a cafe. This distinctively…read moreshaped building has been turned into a reading room, children's play area, and cafe, which the community could really use. Food options are basic, but they have made a choice to carry some packaged gluten-free goods and some milk alternatives, so most diets can be accommodated. I got an iced matcha, which was straightforward and not overly sweet. Getting a waffle seemed the freshest option, and it was a sugary, tasty waffle with a few topping options, of which I picked a drizzle of maple syrup. Neither item was very large, but the price was right. It's a distinctive atmosphere, and you can see that this place is trying to bring something new to the area. It's not the kind of stuff you'd get at a high-end urban cafe, but it worked for me on the day.

If you're wondering why the service is so slow, I'm here at 9AM. There are seven employees working…read morethe front counter. Half are standing around. Others are moving but in a confused manner. In the back there is one elderly woman making all of the orders. She is hustling but there is only so much she can do alone. You would think one of those seven employees would help the poor woman. Instead they are on their phones or moving around like a confused Peanuts character.

This store has seriously gone down hill. I went through the drive thru with my daughter and half…read moreof the sign was out. I asked about it and was curtly informed that "it wasn't their fault and somebody would fix it." I'm not a "regular" so I don't know their menu. I spent the next few minutes going back and forth asking what they had. The girl taking my order seemed annoyed to say the least. I'd like to offer a suggestion for the next time this happens... Print out a menu and tape it to your order board. Or even better, in a day like today which was gorgeous, they could have had someone go outside and greet their customers and share a menu with them so they can order. Instead I got treated like I was the problem. All the while as I was sitting there trying to order a sandwich and drink for my daughter, I could see employees dancing and goofing around inside by the window. I'm all for having fun while you work, but when you give tour customers attitude and treat your them like they are inconveniencing you, they won't be back. The owners of this franchise need to wake up and pay attention. They may think they have the coffee/breakfast market cornered in town, but there are other options (Social, Boone's) and I know that I will probably be going to one of them next time.
