This should be easy to make, it's fast food not a sit down restaurant. The blackberry passion fruit refresher was good. The employees were nice but they need to work on making all of the food better. Terrible service at McDonald's. I've been waiting for my order for over 30 minutes. Staff are just running around doing who knows what instead of actually working. There are many people standing and waiting, and everyone is being completely ignored. The front counter is a mess, coffee isn't being made, and orders aren't coming out. They took the money, and that's it -- no one seems to care after that. It honestly feels like the staff have no idea what they're doing. It even felt like they were intentionally holding my coffee. When they finally brought it out, it was completely cold. I told them it must have been sitting there ready for about 20 minutes, while earlier they were telling me the machine wasn't working. So clearly the coffee had been ready for a long time, and they still gave it to me cold. I refused to take it and left. I paid but didn't receive a proper order, which is unacceptable. I placed my breakfast order using the McDonalds app. I went to the drive through to pick up my order. I was told by the polite MCD crewman that I could not pick up my food through the driver's window and that I would have to go inside. When I questioned as to why I would have to go inside, since I have the order number and I'm already in the drive through lane. The response I received was, "It's our policy." I drove around the store parked, went inside. Got my food to which the manager reiterated, without explanation, it was their policy. I am absolutely disgusted with this location! I ordered two big breakfasts, plus extra syrup for our order to be delivered. When we received our order, I noticed the hashbrowns were missing along with the extra syrup and a couple other small items. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager. I was absolutely shocked and flabbergasted at her response. The manager spoke in a very harsh tone with me, and said that I had to call DoorDash directly, which I said was fine. I was also trying to explain to her something else, and at that point, she just hung up on me. I called her back and asked her why she hung up on me when I was in the middle of speaking to her; and without missing a beat, she said there's nothing more I could do for you. This place was not good at all. Me and my family bought one dozen of donuts when McDonalds had Krispy Kreme donuts, and they only gave us one donut. I generally disliked this place, it's one of those rebranded McDonald's of the 21st century. It's definitely beautiful inside and out but what made my experience terrible was the front line manager who was working the counter. I do not like using the touch screen menu, I'm a people person, I want to look at the menu! The front line manager kept trying to tell me to use the touch screen interface. I said "no thanks". I look at the menu for another minute and for some reason, she gets annoyed and tries teaching me how to use the menu like I'm technology illiterate! I was so irritated by this experience. Bad system and employees with bad attitude! Corporate office, please ask your employees to speak English in-front of your customers. Made a mobile order on a family deal paid with credit card @10:30 and arrived @10:45. The order was canceled when we arrived. The cashier said the system will cancel the order 15 minutes before the lunch time meal start and I showed her my order screen shot with the items listed. This is while they are still having the breakfast menu on the board and breakfast ends @11. She said you will have to re-order and give me a discount code. The deal was on the mobile order and it does not show a code. I asked her to consult with the manager to see if they will still honor my mobile order since I ordered and the order was canceled by the system and I had the screen to show what I ordered and amount...she said they were still serve breakfast. They conversed in Spanish and told me no you need to give me a coupon code or pay list price. Manager strolled away like I was bothering her. So I ordered what I needed and paid regular price. The cashier then turned around and talk to the manager while rolling her eye. Honestly this feels like I was in Mexico trying to force them to speak English. There was no one behind us so we weren't holding up the line either. Even my kids know to not speak in a foreign language in a group conversation while there are only English speakers. This is the third bad experience we've had at this location and made to feel like I was there for hand outs. They've messed up my ordered before without an apology but thought to give them another chance. Brought my very elderly year old mother to this McDonald's for a special community event. Thought it would be a fun local outing. Social media promotions & signs at the McDonald's indicated "free fries" for those attending the event. When I placed our order at the cash register & requested "free fries", the cashier told me we were outside the age range for free fries. I asked her to indicate where the door signage indicated an age range. ( there was NO age specification on sign or social media promos) She pointed & laughed at us & yelled to her boss in Spanish. He then came over (& in barely understandable English) verbalized that it was his rule, & didn't have to be printed on the signage. Nasty, rude employees. Used to patronize this McDonald's several times/week. Luckily there is a clean, efficient Culver's across the street with employees that go out of their way to enhance the customer experience. Drove through this location for three happy meals. I asked for "no apples, extra fries instead" - and when I was driving off, I realized there are not fries but apples in every happy meal. I had three little ones in the car - and I ended up going back through. They did finally end up giving me the extra fries, but then when leaving again, my child took a sip of the drink (which I was up charged $0.99 for some reason - I would have been fine with a kid sized drink, I didn't ask them to make it bigger or anything). He said this tastes funny, so I take a sip and the lemonade basically tastes like water. Lastly, I get home and realize I was charged $0.25 per sauce. If I realized that, I have perfectly fine BBQ sauce at home too. What was supposed to be a convenient good experience became a total disaster. Do not even drive in to this McDonald's because it's the worse one I've ever been. They can't get the orders right. They leave out food, they leave out utensils, they don't understand English. It's managed by Vietnamese, and I have never had an experience with a Vietnamese that was so totally inept. This is the third time my order was not correct. Large restaurant, good drive-thru setup, and a very modern interior make this one of the more pleasant McDonalds to visit if you're in the area. However, the difficulty with accurate ordering, speed of food preparation, inconsistent textures (crispy items should be noticeably crispy), and inconsistent seasoning on the fries do take away from the experience a bit. This McDonalds is HORRIBLE. I've been here twice, and will never go again. Our most recent experience just pushed me over the edge. My poor son go the brunt of BOTH nasty issues we had: 1) He ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, and he took a bite and looked into the sandwich and the egg was GREEN. Yes, green. One of the nastiest things I've ever seen. So we took it up to the counter and they switched it out for a different type of breakfast and... 2) He took a bite of the second sandwich which had sausage, and he got a mouthful of gristle. Hard, boney, nasty gristle (grissle?). That was it. Nobody wanted to eat anymore. And I will never eat there again. This place is hands-down the best McDonald's I can remember visiting. Now, for a restaurant chain that (likely) prides itself on standardizing the culinary experience at each of their 285782352134 locations, this is a true feat! This McD's is close to a place where I work PT, but it's a little out of the way compared to two other McD's that I actually drive past. But a couple of days ago, the opportunity came up to try this one, so I gave it a shot. First off, the drive-thru was quick; order taken and onto the window. Thumbs up. I ordered two "Dollar Menu" items and asked for no lettuce or tomato. As I'm waiting to pay, I see some sweet and sour packets at the window and figure that it would be better with that than the mayo that I didn't ask to have excluded, so I asked if there was a way to.hold that too. He said they had already been made, but offered to re-make them for me. I politely refused as it wasn't right for me to expect them to do that over a $2 order after I had failed to ask them in advance. But I wad amazed at how the order-taker, likely the manager, didn't even hesitate to offer to change it. They were the only place open at 5:15Am . I get a steak & egg bagel with no cheese since I am painfully lactose intolerant. THEY TOOK THE EGG OUT AND LEFT THE CHEESE ON! I could not eat the bagel because it would cause abdominal pain, bloating and I would have to spend a workday on the toilet. Yes, lactose intolerance is real. The physical dining area surroundings of this small location are OK, however the traffic pattern for drivers is astonishingly bad (you can't readily enter from Southbound Milwaukee Ave. then return to it going Northbound), and the visibility from that direction is negligible. This is the closest McDonald's to my job and as such, I do frequent it. However, as of late I've seen a slippage in the level of service I've received. On more than one occasion, I've ordered simple things like coffee with cream and sugar, and have received black coffee instead. Or I've ordered food items, been charged for said food items, and did not receive them. The management has been good in replacing those items once reported, even going as far as giving me a free lunch on a couple of occasions, but I feel that you shouldn't have to go behind the staff and make sure their orders are correct. You only get one opportunity to make the customer happy. Word of wisdom: Check your orders before you leave, preferably while you're still at the register. read more
