We recently got hot dogs and gyros here at Wiener Take All. We've been coming here once in awhile for takeout or delivery over the past few years, but I think they're getting a bit overpriced for what you get. I know costs have gone up everywhere but it shouldn't cost $5 for a regular hot dog or almost $10 for a cheeseburger. While the food is generally good and tasty, the portions are kind of small for the price. They also forgot the tzatziki sauce for our gyros so we had to go back to pick it up but they didn't really do anything to make up for our second drive out. read more

Quality of food and portions have taken a huge hit. I mean $16 for a small gyro sandwich, small fry and drink. Gyro meat was not good, no flavor, no char too it either. They used to have long strips pilled high...now just tiny little pieces with again no taste. I was shocked when I saw the size. I almost said out loud $16 for this!!!! Came to Wiener Take All for lunch today to get 2 teriyaki chicken sandwiches. We were told they were out of chicken because someone came in and ordered 30 of their chicken sandwiches. They also said they were getting more in but we would have to wait a half hour. Why didn't you make the people who ordered 30 sandwiches wait? Instead you chose to turn away numerous other customers because 1 person decided not to preorder such a large amount. I personally would rather go to a place like this (or in the past Tore & Luke's), over Portillo's. The food quality is not necessarily better, but I just don't care for the overhype at Portillo's and sitting in a 25+ car line for food. Got food for a family of five here - Beef Sandwich, Gyro, and three kids meals - Grilled Cheese, Hamburger and a three piece chicken. Food went over well with the kids. My beef sandwich had a good amount of juice on the roll and a nice spice. Only downside we had were the fries. The fries were hot & fresh out of the fryer, but were lacking on taste. Could use some salt or spice. (A good quantity helping made up for it a bit, but was craving some more taste with them.) Take this place as what it is, a fast food joint with a fun name. Ordered a couple of hot dogs, Italian sausage, fries and mushrooms and almost fell down when told that the total was $27 dollars. Ok, I know prices went up but $6 bucks for about 10 mushrooms is a little ridiculous. However the worst part was the fries were warmed over and burnt. The mushrooms were equally burnt. Had a gyro, might be the smallest gyro I've ever had. Had soo little meat it was like the size of a hot dog. Most places pile the meat and you typically have to fork eat some before you can pick it up, not the case here. It will leave you hungry. I visited a friend of mine today. He ordered in from Wiener Take All. What a disappointment. The drinks were short from being full, one sandwich has all dried out meat, the other was inedible; not fit to feed a dog (unless you're trying to kill it). My friend was at a loss for words. He told me this was a great place to get sandwiches from. My guess is that the weekend workers are shorting customers and pocketing the spoils.
