This the smallest Mickey D I've ever been to! The area is fairly down-trodden and kind of rough, judging from the locals. The new promotion is sweet honey and jalapeños on crispy chicken sandwiches, which sounds good, but too hot for me. The service was slow, but understaffed, so I'll let that pass. I generally dislike the word "terrible," and I truly hate making complaints. However, after an unpleasant experience at this particular McDonald's location today, I feel compelled to use both of those terms. Typically, at large corporate chains, if a drive-thru employee has trouble understanding a customer's order--whether due to a faulty speaker or simply not hearing the request--they will apologize and ask the customer to pull forward to place their order in person. Furthermore, they do not get angry at the customer--they might show some signs of annoyance, perhaps, but never outright anger. Yet, the manager at this specific store--a man named Carlos--lost his temper the moment he saw me, snapping that he couldn't understand a word I was saying. He acted as if to ask, "If you can't speak English, why did you even come here?" To this day, I still cannot fathom why he was unable to understand the simple request for "4 apple pies." If it were just the young part-time staff, I wouldn't make a fuss; what's the point of getting annoyed at kids who are practically the age of your own children? They're just out there working to earn some pocket money, so there's really no need to get angry at them. However, when the person responsible for the overall management and operation of the store--the manager--works like that, it sets a poor example, and naturally, the other employees don't treat customers very well either. Spend my own hard-earned money just to place an order here? I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

This is terrible and the franchise owner should feel bad. Oh no oh poor me oh no California raised the minimum during inflation and so as a F U to customers and workers we're just eliminating the cashier position even as just an option. So wait, if it my grandpa who is used to walking not driving to your location for his morning coffee and just wants to hand you a five dollar bill, he has to try and work a touch screen that will overwhelm him, beg for assistance from a worker who totally isn't going to be around, have them place the order then walk over to the now defunct cash register for that same worker to use ANYWAY and break his change ? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? fyi this McDonald's doesn't clean the kiosk screens I watched and I saw at least 5 different men pick their nose and use the machine. So thanks for the new remodels making it feel like a soulless unhappy place and now with the new system, thank you for making me the employee while you charge more for a Big Mac that has shrunk in size gradually over the last 6 years. This franchise owner can easily ( yes I've seen the financials for this location ) easily handle the raise. But whether it's him or McDonald's corporate ( fyi McDonald's is not a good business they're a real estate company who are leasing this land back to the franchisee ) implementing this, not a single one has ever asked "ok but what would be good for the customers" because a kiosk can be efficient and great and so can a mobile app, but having the human option as an option should always be the means to somewhat keeping the humanity consistent to ever changing times. If Costco can keep the hotdog at 1.50 then McDonald's can keep a cashier and still make their record profits. Those kiosks have people scratching themselves in their car and then going in and touching them. Gross. I'm all for the tech the kiosks the app but keep a damn cashier as an option it's not that hard stop alienating your older breakfast crowd , everyone sees what you're doing with this and no one asked , but oh no you got offended and cut hours ( I confirmed with 3 employees ) and cut positions when you absolutely did not have to. Your remodel is brown and cold and aesthetically unpleasant , and now this? I'm just going to cook for myself I will never visit this location ever again, and sure maybe it won't affect business I never said it would but I can say for sure eventually enough people will have enough of your greed and you'll wonder why sales are down without ever realizing you removed the humanity from retail. Service is trash at this location. The drive through girl gave me attitude for asking a question and shut the window with force and attitude. She did not want to help at all. I did not get the properly helped and this in general ruined my experience and ambiance. consequently this ruined the food for me. This place should re evaluate their employees positions in the company.especially after the new fast food raise. If the employee clearly doesn't want to work fire them. there are people who need work. Let the people who actually want to work get a chance instead of hiring people who just want to do the bare minimum and get irritated when they actually have to lift a finger. Been to this location many times and I think it's getting worse. Fries were cold. My Kit Kat McFlurry was not mixed and had almost no Kit Kat. Service was kinda funny, they had some young girl at the window giving people their food but also making her tell people that paper bags are now 10 cents. Like after we had already paid...so if we didn't want to pay for the bag at that point they would just hand you the food items individually...thats ridiculous...for a Drive-Thru!!!. i would put half a star, but there's no such thing! not only is the " restaurant " small, but there's only one bathroom! if i had to choose between a smelly old porta potty or wait in line for this bathroom, i would pick the porta potty! the service could improve as the lady in front of the register had attitude and kept laughing at me and my accomplices, the food is still regular mcdonald's food. Even for a McDonalds this place has problems. Now I'm not one of these people that think its cool to bash on McDonalds and pretend that Im somehow "above" eating there. But this McDonald's seems to have a lot of problems. Every time that I'm here they are always out of something or I will have to wait for them to finish cooking my meal.
