I don't get food from here very often, usually just free fries from the app, but I do come very often for their Diet Coke because it's my favorite. Starting with the good things, they can be fast with their service and are relatively cheap. About 75% of their staff are super helpful, nice, and accommodating. On the other hand, they mess up orders about 50% of the time. They will often put on or take off ingredients or switch the foods or drinks completely. There are certain employees that regularly are unhelpful, rude, or not knowledgeable about their system at all. They can be really messy with their burgers, the ketchup can be all over the outside of the bun. Sometimes they can be really slow for even the smallest orders. They often don't answer the drive thru until you say something. The vibe is very scattered but, there are certain people who shine and make it a great experience. read more

Every time that I have placed an order at this location they either give it to someone else by mistake, mess it up entirely, or I'm having to wait an excessive amount of time for my order. The people at this location are incompetent to say the least and this is considered to be a base level job at that. So if you are wise I would make your efforts to go to the other locations or you too will run into problems and for anyone that is thinking about working at that location I'd recommend you pick a different one unless you want to be roped into being just as incompetent as the people that work there now. This location is notorious for their slow drive through wait times. If you would like breakfast, I recommend arriving an hour before 1030, in order to get it before the lunch menu changes. Even during dinner hours , the lines are long. Plus, the lines aren't coordinated with the building. It is blocking traffic to the Dillon store that adjacent. read more

DRIVE through is not a drive through it's certainly a wait through. The line was about 20 minutes long from the time I ordered until the time I got my order... Placed a mobile order to pick up curbside and after 30 minutes of waiting I went inside to grab it and couldn't get two words out because the old lady employee kept cutting me off, then she she finally asked me what I wanted after 5 minutes of us just standing at each other I just handed her my phone because I wasn't about to deal with that again, then she said "oh you're number 9, that's been ready for a long while" the food was cold the service was garbage, she should not be running the front. I waited 30 mins for my food and when I asked the lady who was bringing food out to the cars if my food was almost done her response was " I think they are working on it". When I finally got my food I noticed my sauce wasn't in there so I parked and went Inside. I asked to speak with the manager whose name was Shawn and I explained everything to him and all he had to say was "sorry". This mcdonalds has crap service, and cancel's orders at random, takes over an hour to get a sibgle chocolate shake that they then said they didn't have chocolate ( AFTER i complained) frequently uses fries from much earlier in the day, doesn't pull things off burgers as requested (and actually adds more) and in general is crap quality. Can't beat $1 any size coffee and 2 for $1 apple pie. I always go through the drive thru here so it's pretty fast and always told a the end to have a nice day. I don't ask for much when I come to a McD's. Side note is that happy hour (coffee drinks) are $1 off from 2-5pm. read more

This is the best McDonalds of the two in Manhattan. The location, staff, drive-thru, and building (inside & out) are good. I always have a professional experience when I use this location. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and clean cut as opposed to the 3rd street location. The food is normally very fresh and tasty. The buns and french fries are always fresh. The taste of their food is that of quality. If you decide to go to a McDonalds in Manhattan I would say this is the one to go to and it's worth making the drive across town. read more

Somebody else had mentioned that this is the best McDonalds of the two in Manhattan and that is true but it also has fresh food (for a McDonalds) and it IS the best managed fast food restaurant I've ever visited....ever. That morning crew should be in the McDonald's olympics...you hardly even have to stop to get your food because they have it ready out the window before you drive up. The overnight weekend crew is the total opposite with getting you through the line but the food is still hot and the staff is friendly. I have been here twice in the last 5 days while traveling through Manhattan. They are understaffed and service is poor and slow.

For 5 years, I go a couple times a month for breakfast and the service is great at this store. The food is always as advertised. The staff friendly at the counter and they process customers order quickly. They have good biscuits. Plus they still have newspapers to read while you wait. read more

I come to McDonald's often for their Frappes and Iced Coffees. Today, however, I was very disappointed at the service, at the taste of the coffee and of the freshness of my chicken nuggets. I was expecting a nicely flavored Vanilla Iced Coffee, and the reality was a badly flavored, none Vanilla tasting coffee. They DID NOT contain any beef paddies, only soy veggie paddies, and was very distasteful! I did NOT eat an entire sandwich and threw the other one away! Took the family in for a meal one afternoon. The service was ridiculously slow. Watching others try to order was painful. Employees didn't seem well-trained at all, and didn't really act like they cared to learn. instead of assembling our order, as used to be done, the cashier told us to go down to the end and wait. When I asked for our drink cups - always provided before, I was told I could not have them. I asked why, and was given no answer, so I stated I wanted the cups right away. The employee actually turned to a "manager" and stated, "She wants her cups now...", as though I'd asked for a bag of money or something. Her entire attitude was surly, and the "manager" was no better. Only firm insistence finally brought the cups. The order, in a tore that wasn't very busy, took several minutes. Lots of employees milling around, and no one efficient at all. The food wasn't even properly assembled, which seems to be the norm for the chain in recent years. Fried were mushy, burgers were not even hot. The atmosphere was terrible. Locations like this are enough to turn a person off the whole chain, especially when told that's the new norm for the chain!
