Traditionally I have not been a fan of Papa John's food. Someone else in my household is. So we finally placed an order from this location last night. I will say based on service and quickness we will be ordering again. We called in a delivery order and received it in 30 minutes. There are others in Manhattan that can do it quicker, but none as friendly as "Bill." "Bill" made this experience for me. Courteous, friendly, funny, he knew his stuff as a delivery person. He is the first and only delivery driver I've encounter that has actually introduced himself. Great delivery experience to the point that I called and complimented him to his manager. Onto the food. We didn't order a meal per say, more snack type food. Wings, Cheese bread, and Parmesan bread sticks. I'm told the wings were out of this world good. I can tell you I wasn't a huge fan of the bread sticks, but enjoyed the cheese bread. They also provided adequate sauce, which is a rare thing these days. The only downside would be when I called to compliment them on service and food. The guy that answered the phone "Nathan" was convinced I was calling in a complaint even after I explained numerous times "it's a compliment NOT a complaint." He finally referred me to "Jamie" the late night manager that understood what I was getting at, but didn't seem as thrilled as you would think a manager should be when getting a compliment. She almost seemed like it was a hassle to listen to me and left several awkward silences. She did agree to inform "Bill" of the compliment although I'd prefer she let the general manager know. 3 Stars because I'm not convinced completely their food is worthy of 4, but the service was great and the cost was reasonable. "Bill" the delivery driver gets the credit and if it was based on him alone I'd give 5 stars.

Good morning yallsome people of Yelp. Hopefully we all received pleasant dreams as we slept…read more Up early, 6 a.m. prepping my baby backs for tomorrow, cutting crosshatches into my sausages before they rest on an open flame. I throw down. Sheesh, it's already 10 a.m. and we need to break the fast. "Hey Google, breakfast sammies near me?" Early edition was in the top 3. Boom, like a firecracker I'm headed there. They don't serve typical breakfast biscuits, but slammed a fluffy folded scrambled egg omlet style, and a sausage patty betwixt two of the lightest, butteriest homemade buscuits north of the Mason/Dixon. No way to describe the crumbly goodness. Side of thick cut homefries rounded it out. Talk about accommodation. Off the cuff, build my style biscuit sammiches that came out way better than the taste in my head. That's service the way we from the 60s remember. To go order here means to go. They niether dillied or dallied. My order was out way faster than I'm accustomed to. This was 5 stars and then. Thankful EE isn't in my town in Texas. I'd need new stretchy pants. Take care of your fingers if you celebrate with fireworks. Be aware of our 4 legged family member, and veterans with PTSD might need a bit of understanding. Be well.

We tried the stuffed French toast as it seemed to be their specialty. It definitely hit the spot. My wife went for the pancake. Not pancakes, just one and that's a good thing because this cake was about twice the size of the plate. She barely got through half of it! Add some great service and even a refill on the cappuccino and you get 5 stars!

This place has definitely hit rock bottom over the years. I've been going here for about 4 years…read moreand it's gotten worse every single time. But unfortunately it's the only Popeyes outside of fort Riley's for miles. The customer service is a hit or miss most times. They seem to constantly be getting different employees so the service is inconsistent. On google it said they opened at 1030, and the sign on the door even said 1030. And I usually don't eat this type of food this early but my wife wanted it and I was heading back to junction city and the fort Riley Popeyes was not open today. So I had no choice but to try to grab some here before I head back to JC and I arrived at around 1040. I waited in the drive thru and got no answer, so I went inside. I stood in the line for about a minute before I was told they open at 11. Which was frustrating. At this point I was dedicated to getting Popeyes because my wife convinced me to do so, and I really wanted to try the new strawberry biscuit. So I ran some errands until it opened. I even gave them extra time between opening and returning because when I first went inside it seemed they were already behind schedule. When I came back the gentleman in front of me waiting at the Speaker in the drive thru for an answer for about 4 minutes until he got a response. It took us both about 10 minutes to order and get our food. It's still not the worst Popeyes I've been too but they for sure need to reinforce their weak points. I've never had a bad experience besides small inconveniences such as waiting a while, and occasionally they'll forget a food item but nothing deal breaking. The quality of food has never been bad for me fortunately. If you go to this Popeyes just be prepared to wait a while and double check your order before leaving.

I thought Popeyes was fast food. Now, I realize I've experienced longer-than-average waits at pretty much every Popeyes I've ever visited, but this was something else. After 16 minutes, the two orders placed before ours were still at the counter asking where their food was, and ours was nowhere in sight. At one point, someone came to our table and offered us free pie because of the wait--which was a nice gesture--but we still didn't have any food. Finally, after 34 minutes, our food was ready. Now for the honest food review: The wings were fabulous. The strips were very stringy. The red beans and rice were good, the coleslaw was average, and the biscuit was very dry and tough. The young woman at the counter was incredibly sweet, and I appreciated her kindness. However, overall, I'm still giving this location one star. No matter how good the food might be, I will never come back. A 34-minute wait for fast food is simply unacceptable to me.
