Heading home from Atlantic City to Northern Virginia - I looked at a map and decided instead of heading back up the Atlantic City Expressway to I-295 - that instead I'd follow U.S. 40 all the way over to the Delaware Memorial Bridge. It's a much more interesting drive that the Expressway and Interstate. Anyway, stopped in for dinner at this McDonald's - basically at a crossroads - not a lot out here. Ordered the Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a small Diet Coke - never had this sandwich before. It sounded promising. Well, it's not promising. In fact it is rather bland an unexciting. Basically - it consists of a crispy chicken filet on a bun that has a little bit of melted butter and a couple of overcooked pickle slices. That's it. I ate the whole thing as I was hungry. But it was oh so unsatisfying. It needed a sauce. And lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. read more

They take forever giving you your food and half the time it's messed up. At night they blast music really loud when there's customers at the window it was around 10:30 and I had a door dash order and the guy at window said they were closed. The other night my brother mobile ordered food and we drive up to the curbside and theirs two workers outside smoking he comes up to me saying we're on a smoke break I'm not getting your order to go through drive threw horrible service. read more

This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been to in my entire life. The decor inside is atrocious. Their napkins holders look older than me. I used the restroom first before ordering and that should've been my cue to leave. There were large, slow moving flies in the bathroom and it wasn't all that clean for being 4:30pm (slow time). So I ordered a small meal from the McPick2 (6 piece chicken nuggets and a small fry). Well the lady I ordered from, who was less than friendly, she was the older white female with blonde-ish hair in a white 80's style scrunchie. She sounded like and looked like she's been smoking a pack of day since 1970. My order was ready in less than 30 seconds which was a lil too quick for me. I received nuggets that were not prepared specifically for my order and a small fry that was soggier than the toilet paper on the bathroom floor. The seating in this establishment is deplorable and frankly, disgusting. While writing this review I believe a manager named Kyle walked by and I asked for the woman's name who waited on me. He said he cannot give that out. I guess name tags aren't a thing here. My question prompted him to ask me if there was a problem. Well... Since he asked...I told him. So I'm sure he'll recognize me when or if he reads this review. Also, the temperature inside is very high. It feels like it's 80 degrees and the fat, slow flies are all over the establishment - not just the bathroom. I've swatted them off my legs, arms, and head several times while typing this. Just do yourself a favor and drive on by. As you can tell from my pictures, it's just yucky. The one thing Kyle was nice enough to do was give me another order of nuggets and fries. He also gave me a card for a free meal. Really nice kid. I appreciate his valiant effort, but I will not be returning. Ever. read more

This place is ridiculous since it's reopened! I went on Friday at 6, to the drive threw. My order was taken fast and the line moved until it was time to get our food. The car 2 in front of me was told to move up while the car in front of me and myself where told to park, waiting for fries. After waiting 10 minutes I got my fries nice and hot but they forgot my nuggets. Now I had to go in and wait another 5 min for my nuggets. I was waiting a total of 20 minutes. By time I got home, 5 minutes away our burgers were cold, and as you can see from the picture, undercooked. Get it together already! You're not new anymore! read more

*Covid Review* this McDonald's is close to my seasonal campground. Compared to other fast food places in this area this one stands out as the politest staff. Don't have a long wait but usually only go for breakfast or lunch and the order has never been wrong. read more

Never get an order right. The staff is always messing around to busy to take a proper order. Apparently, McDonalds hires anyone.

I have learned that you can't use the drive through because your going to end up going in anyway when your order is wrong. So now that they installed the new kiosks I go inside. The associates used to always forget my sauce for nuggets, I assume that's why the sauces are kept behind the counter so you can just reach around and grab them yourself when they forget. Now tonight I was missing a few nuggets in each of the 10 pieces that I ordered, great now I have to open the nugget boxes before leaving too. Every day I would go to this establishment to get; 3 hash browns, a black coffee, and a Carmel frappachino. Every day I could get the coffee and a coffee,I was told daily that the frappachino machine was broken. The woman who worked the most and knew my order every day is the reason I gave stars. There's only one McDonald's that tops this for poor service (Cape May Court House). This location is so bad, I have a speech I have delivered for the past 11 years about the crappy service here. But I needed to pick something up for my son today and this was it. It's been years since I have been here , , , it'll be many more until I return. The people and service are fine, as is the drinks (I don't eat the burgers) but my biggest complaint is the persistent uncleanliness and dilapidation of the place. It is very dated and dirty, looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 80's, and desperately needs to be knocked down and rebuilt like other McDonalds locations this old. The IDIOTS at the Mays Landing McDonalds can NEVER get an order right! Order a milkshake at the kiosk without whipped cream and you get whipped cream. Place an order at the kiosk for extra bacon for an extra charge and you're lucky to get any bacon at all. Use the kiosk to order a McChicken and they conveniently forget it. During my last FOUR VISITS at the Mays Landing McDonalds, AT LEAST ONE ITEM HAS BEEN WRONG. Can't they read the English language? No more! There are a pizzeria and diner within walking distance.
