Honestly disappointing. This McDonald's manages to get the basics wrong almost every time. The food is usually cold, slapped together, and looks nothing like what's advertised. Fries are either stale or undercooked, and the burgers taste like they've been sitting around way too long. The service is another issue. Orders are frequently wrong, and when you point it out, the staff acts annoyed--as if it's somehow your fault. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly and the managers don't give good service and the food is cold and the pattys are sometimes raw and the patty's could be burnt and instead of two pickles on my cheese burger it's 1 and that makes me mad and whenever I wanna customize my ingredients like no onions they remove the ketchup off my cheese burger instead of the onions. To think Miami Lakes is supposed to be the fancy part of Hialeah... However, in my waiting more than ten minutes for dinner here I can say this Mickey D flipped the script. Located in the same shopping plaza as a couple of my other MIami Lakes faves, I ended up at this Mickey D after a long day in the cowfield when the other "real" restaurants had closed. I ordered from the kiosk because I didn't see any employees at the register. Well, in the ten minutes that I was waiting to be served (based on other reviews I read, time in line seems to be an issue here), one guy was still waiting for his order and another lady came by because her custom order was wrong. But since Yelp isn't about third person, my order...well I had to show them my payment app on my phone because it hadn't registered on their end. They forgot to give me a soda cup, and oh the fries were stale (i.e. weren't crispy). Sweet & sour sauce? They had run out of that. At least the chicken sandwich was edible and the soda wasn't flat. read more

Just there the other day, order A mocha frappe thru the app, which has new Features on it. The cashier totally lost. Save yourself the high blood pressure and drive to 67th or Miami Gardens drive and 87th. I drove by at 2:20am because who doesn't love McDonald's after a night out, I sat at the speaker for 5 mins saying "hello" twice with no answer. I drove to the first window, and I sat there for 2 mins and did not see anyone. So I drove to the second window. Finally a man comes to the window and opens it and asks me how he can help me. I told him I was trying to order at the speaker and before I could even finish my sentence, he asks me how he can help me again with a horrible attitude. I paused for a second and ordered my food. He took my card. When he handed me my food, I asked for butter for the pancakes instead of syrup, he told me they had no butter. I asked him to clarify "you have NO butter?" And he said "no" again with an attitude. I let him know that he should really be a little nicer and went on my way. I live in Miami lakes, this is the closest McDonald's to me, but I refuse to give them $1 more. This was the worst service I've ever received. If you don't want or like your job, find a new one. I'm surprised this McDonalds is still open. I'm even more surprised the franchise has not gotten involved with the way this McD is run. I don't eat fast food often, but once in a while I get done for "old times sake". This is the worse McDonalds ever! Orders are usually wrong. Today the inside of the restaurant was closed, because they didn't have enough employees, they had a handful of employees inside, doing drive through only. My sundae which required a spoon resulted in another 10-minute wait. The beverage center had no straws or napkins. This is my neighborhood McDonald's. It really saddens me to say, that it's the biggest piece of garbage McDonald's I've ever been to. Many, many times, I have come here and experienced the absolute worse drive thru lines and also inside lines. It's not because there are hundreds of people trying to eat there, it's because the staff is not doing their job (they are superrrrrrrrr slow, managers included). I was literally the only person in line, inside of the store and I was never asked what my order was or even told that they would be right with me. I stood there for 10 minutes and just left. I will never go to this particular McDonald's again. The owner should really get in there and see what's going on. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh! Close to my home without a lot of traffic. One thing I cannot understand about this place is their constant "no shakes" issue. This has been going on for years! This really upsets me. One time I just cancelled my order and drove to the one on 67th avenue. Also now your burgers or chicken sandwiches no longer come with lettuce and tomato... You have to pay extra!?! 2/19/17: 4th consecutive visit with NO SHAKES! More than a year later and I have to admit so far this year I've been able to order shakes. This Mcdonald (Miami Lakes) needs to have management supervise the crew. They seem to forget that there are customers in the restaurant and hear their LOUD conversation. It's envarising. Either the entire crew is hard of hearing or they have no idea how to conduct themself. I've complain before but it seems they just don't care. If I was the owner of this franchise I would look into this and stop it! You might a ask why I keep coming. I like your breakfast menu but the atmosphere is horrible. This service here is horrible. I went around 2:00 a.m, through the drive-thru window try to place an order. When I arrived there were two cars in front of mine. After waiting about 5 minutes and seeing that they were not moving; I went through the side and went up to their window. When I asked the employee why they were not taking the orders at the drive-thru she just simply stated " oh the speaker must not be working". She didn't even excused herself or acknowledge when I told her that maybe they should tape a sign on the sign so people know to drive up to the window. If this McDonalds is local to you, make it your go to. Its a bit more expensive than others in the area but the food is always hot and crispy and even though its always full the lines move along well. I can see where a lot of the people putting 1 star are coming from, I've had lots of problems with Mcdonalds but this one has always been one step ahead of the others in the area in my opinion. I know, through several experiences, how horrible this place is. Management does nothing about holding employees to a high standard. However, today takes the cake. DO NO GO. When I came up to the window, the young man was filling my soda order. I NOTICED THAT HE HAD IS MASK BELOW HIS CHIN AND BREATHING DIRECTLY BELOW MY DRINK - AND PROBABLY FILLING MY FOOD ORDER.
