While this review is long overdue my opinion about this particular location has not changed. As other reviewers has mentioned, they recently went through a massive renovation to create two ordering lines. Initially I was glad because their lines were always longer than most drive thrus. However, since reopening, instead of shorter wait times it only increased. On Wednesday I was in line for 17 minutes. I don't know about you but that is not fast food. On a positive note, the employees there are always friendly. Despite a high turnaround, everyone is friendly. The food better than most mcdonalds. Bottom line, if you come here you'll appreciate the great service but be prepared to wait! read more

I go to this Mcdonald's about twice a week. They are fast, efficient, and very friendly. And the food is just like every other McDonald's. The main reason Im writing a review is to commend the workers. Hopefully the Mcdonald's management reads "yelp" reviews and acknowledges their employees accordingly. Double check your drive through orders. The servers/cashiers don't always fulfill complete orders.

It's takes forever to get your food because they are cooking it to order so they don't have waist. Even at thier prime times you are waiting 20 mins in drive thru. It's called fast food, and the food does not taste as good as the Mcds a mile down the road. This is far the worst Mcds I have ever been to. read more

Very bad experience. I wanted to order with a cashier not a kiosk computer. There was a very pushy employee who refused for us to order with the cashier. This experience made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed inside this McDonalds. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This McDonald's is located in a very convenient spot, right near the on/off-ramp to H2 freeway in Mililani Mauka. Easy to get a quick bite to eat when you're hungry. The restaurant is kept clean and there's ample parking. The drive thru tends to move on the slow side and the food is well, like any other McD's. Staff is also generally friendly. read more

Came here at 10:20 to order breakfast. Employees all love like molasses so it took 12 mins for me to get to the order window. "Mary" says it's a minute too late and I can only order lunch . Drive through service is horrible. Orders on the drive through screen is correct but is wrong when recieving them at the window. In addition, drive through service is extremely slow and they make you wait at parking stall for food 25% of the time. Other McDonalds would compensate you for waiting. This McDonalds does not. read more

Slow, waiting stalls on the outside make drive thru seem inefficient as they added 2 order windows but cant keep up with that pace.

7/30/19 night around 8:40ish-Mililani Mauka location. I ordered a dbl qtr pounder with cheese(no pickles/no mustard). When I got home discovered the burger with meat, cheese and Big Mac sauce. Must have been someone else's burger so there's another disappointed person right now. I couldn't eat it but didn't want to drive all the way back there. I like this mc donalds.they are actually pretty fast and efficient. The only down side of this one us when i go at 3 in the morning just to get a hash broen they take 5 minutes for it.ugh. the inside is kinda old and needs a upgrade or remodel. read more

The renovations make it look be a new again. The new drive through area is really nice. For the most part the customer service has been great, I mean I expect that some people aren't gonna be great at it. But thankfully I've received more great customer sevice than not at all. Also this new 24 hr policy makes this place a great location to get that last minute snack!!! I would definitely rate this place 5 stars however the orders still get mixed up every once in a while and sometimes workers are having a bad day. read more

McDonald's. How hard could it be to follow the business plan of a major corporation? At this McDonald's in Mililani Mauka, I guess it's super difficult for them. Maybe it's the high turnover rate of employees? Maybe. But to the owners: PLEASE keep the restaurant clean AT ALL TIMES. Basic franchise/restaurant knowledge. I found the counter area/floor so filthy recently, that I actually spoke to the manager right then and there about it! It was like they hadn't cleaned the counter for over a day. (sorry, it should be cleaned MULTIPLE times a day!) Dust and ketchup drops create thick red mud ! Lol. Keep it clean, Mauka McDonald's !! You service a great community. Mililani Mauka McDonald's doesn't fill your large order of fries to the top. In fact, the orders look as though it was a medium. Therefore, check your order before leaving especially when lines at the drive thru are long. It seem as though to expedite orders and unable to produce the fries quick enough, they are not complying with what you paid for a "large order of fries"! read more

I pull up to the pick-up window. Not a word or any type of greeting from the young female employee. I'm given my bag and before I can hand the bag over to my daughter, the sodas are practically placed into the cup holder for me. In her haste, she did not properly affix the lid to the cup, and I was then wearing my sprite. She then shut the window without so much as an apology and took almost a minute to come back and provide napkins while I wiped everything in the car. I have gone to the Mililani McDonalds 4 times to get a gift card and all 4 times was told that they were out of them. This is unacceptable and the manager should be replaced with someone more competent who knows when their stockage is low so that more could be ordered and the customer is not inconvenienced with having to go elsewhere to get gift cards. In addition like most drive thru's, you have to check your order at the window or else when you drive off or worse yet get home you will find that you are either missing something or your order was screwed up. this has happened to me numerous times and now I wait at the window until I verify that what I ordered is what is actually in the bag before leaving. I normally don't come to this location, but my mom asked me to go get food for my siblings. Came in around lunch time and they're currently fixing up this McDonald's so the drive thru was closed (boo), so we go inside and order and they now have this screen where you can order and pay. Didn't try it but they've got four set up in there. Anyway, order the food and sit down in the back I notice another person has a number to put on his table if you're eating inside... McDonald's is stepping there game up! I was impressed, the inside is super nice inside and they have comfy chairs and booths and the color theme inside is green and gray doesn't seem like you're eating in your typical McDonald's. The cashier Alfred came up to me and gave my order (I was expecting them to call my # on receipt) so golden star for him! Got home checked my order (I forgot to check before I left) and one of my fries weren't in the bag. I called and spoke to Rochelle and she said to come back today or tomorrow she was super nice and never gave me a hard time. So I drive back, and let the same cashier that helped me earlier, Alfred know what happened, again this guy is super nice went to go get my fries and also handed me a "thanks for waiting" card which was for a free small fries. So impressed by their extraordinary service and how they handled the situation that I wasn't even upset to have to drive back to get my complete order. read more

Hahahaha seriously I live in Mililani Maura and this is ridiculous! My $0.99 menu turned into a gallon of gas + 20 min of my time. McDonald's I know times r hard however hiring employees that are rude and insulting makes me, a consumer double check the reason why I shouldn't contact the better business bureau regarding customer service. It seems on the rare occasion when I go to this location on a weekend something's messed up. Three times I've come here on a weekend and its been past 12 noon and the breakfast menus are still facing the customer. You tell the person who takes your order and they say they know (!) Annnnnnnnnd nothing happens. You go through the drive through 15 mins later and its still the same. Today I was there close to 1 pm and the breakfast menu was still turned to the customer side. They also weren't able to serve carbonated drinks. Like.. What?!!! When I finally got to the window to get my food, whoever was prepping the food for the lady handing them out gave her the wrong order and I had to wait for them to give me the correct one. The drive through at this one is absolutely ridiculous , it is not fast and convenient . sometimes it takes like 20 minutes to get through the drive through .. depends on the day . Some days I whip right through . Lately I choose to just go to Tesoro for a drink (faster) . After speaking with an operations manager she seemed empathetic, however, the business model of "giving a full refund" to a customer for less than stellar service doesn't fix the problem of poor training and managerial inadequacies at said restaurant. Perhaps using social media to put this to a public forum will shed a much needed light on quality control issues at the Mililani Mauka McDonald's location. They recently upgraded this location and now have a 2 ordering system drive through. Okay they couldn't get orders correct when they only had one line and now with 2 is a major fail. Twice my order has been incorrect. When you go to the first window to pay they are guessing and ask you what you had ordered. This location needs to hire all new employees and managers. read more

Usually go thru the drive thru but it was quite long today so went inside instead. Wow, lots of people waiting. It took quite a while for my order to come up (20+ min) and others were waiting as well. The employees were having a tough time keeping up but never showed any frustration. The manager was very good -- she temporarily closed the drive thru to give her workers a fighting chance at serving the customers with quality. She also refunded customers who were waiting a long time, including me. She did this all with a sincere apology. I applaud their effort and actions during what must have been a very stressful situation. read more
