Great food, service and atmosphere, and I'd definitely eat there again! My husband and I went a little after 7pm and there was only 1 party seated outside, and 1 inside so we were seated right away. More groups came in after us, and there was a full staff so I think they must get pretty busy for dinner. We ordered the Spicy Ahi Donburi ($18) and the Hellfire wings ($20). We both grew up eating spicy food and tend to find spicy dishes pretty mild when we eat out, but we were impressed with these items! He was very pleased with his donburi and said that he thinks it was the spiciest ahi he's ever had. The ghost pepper sauce for the Hellfire Wings was a stand out for us, and we got a to-go box for the last wings just to take the sauce home with it. We spent a little more than we usually do, but we were expecting this and looking for a change from our usual spots. I had been here before and thought I wrote a review. M'Chelle wanted us to go here so bad so we went after drinks! They have really good AC. One of the young women who sat us was nice. Our server was ok, just didn't seem like she enjoyed her job that day. And that makes a difference. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, cause that's what we do. I liked the club sandwich. Loved the crispy fries and tots! Really good fried noodles and the teri beef was good too! The cookies and cream brulee was interesting. But the Yuzu cheesecake was laughable! Such a small piece surrounded by large portions of toppings. Jeri: We're all going to share that? Overall, the rest of the food was good. They do have sushi later in the early evening, so maybe next time, we'll come up for that. But I'm not going to use my "5 iron to drive" up here anytime soon. read more

Breakfast heaven! I was a little intimidated by eating at a golf course restaurant, but this place is not like the others. The restaurant is bigger than expected, everything we ordered was a hole in one. Can't go wrong with their amazing tasting food/drinks, the presentation, the clean aesthetic with vaulted ceilings, and the friendly wait staff; I love this place. I took my girls to have an early dinner last night here. We walked in at a really good time. There was only one table seated outside and no one inside. We opted to sit inside for the AC and the tv (they were set on sports channels). I was craving OYSTERS! So that was my first order and of course... they always deliver. My daughter ordered sushi rolls, pork belly fried rice, and Korean fried chicken. We also ordered some specials: chow fun, spicy shrimp stack, aaaannnnddddd the LEMON creme brûlée... because... why not??? Lol! Everything was so tasty! Before we went out to play I wanted to grab a sandwich. I asked if they had any already made and it had to be put together. I was playing with a new group so I didn't want to slow them down so I declined. Good thing! Really hungry after 8 holes I called in a loco moco order. So happy with what I got. 2 regular burger pattys, 2 eggs, a ton of really good rice and a demi gravy that was so tasty. Oh and Mac... Had to be the best loco I've had in a while. Couple weeks ago Royal Kunia had a good one, LnL is decent, Times Kahala is good, Ritchie's is good, but none of them beat this one. Maybe I was just in the mood but so far this was the winnah. This review is for the catering of a private event only, as having attended my niece's baby shower at the Clubhouse at the Mililani Golf Course. The Clubhouse at Mililani is a casual, local-style restaurant, owned by Justin Mizufuka of Maui and Arturo Silva, originally from Mexico City, both of whom also own the popular taco restaurant, La Birria. The Clubhouse opened in Nov. 2021 with Executive Chef Lance Morishima at the helm, a Baldwin High graduate, who at age 17 became a line cook and at age 20, a kitchen management position at local restaurants, such as Shokudo Japanese and at Rokkaku Hanakatsu. The Clubhouse's menu is influenced by traditional Japanese cuisine and local grinds, with fresh sashimi imported from Japan. In addition to private parties, the Clubhouse also serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour. The private party was held in its private party room that holds a maximum 40 people on the side of the restaurant. All dishes were served family style for party guests, as none of us had to go to another part of the restaurant to get our food. It was so convenient to be served right in front of us with a variety of delicious menu items! We were served the following: * Fried gyoza with spicy aioli. House-made, plump, and delish with a great accompanying sauce! * Tater tot nachos. Delicious addictive dish of fully loaded cheeses, bacon, guacamole, jalapenos, green onions, sour cream! Great combination of ingredients! * Tofu salad. So very refreshing, with fresh local greens and hearty creamy and silken tofu! * Shrimp tempura sushi roll. Delicious creation of shrimp tempura, avocado, Hamachi, garlic truffle aioli, green onions, and kabayaki sauce. Awesome combination of ingredients! * Miso butterfish. My favorite with just the right amount of miso for that delicate balance! * Rainbow Crab sushi roll. CA roll topped with sashimi and avocado! Delicious creation! * Kalbi. The private room was clean, bright, and large enough to house tables for gifts and games, as well as a major center display of colorful balloons that became a frame for picture-taking. The restaurant allowed you to bring outside desserts, so tables on the right-side of the room were used for pretty tiers of brownies, apple cake, cookies, mochi, macarons, choc Easter eggs, and a whole sheet of Liliha Bakery's Chantilly cake. We had the entire room on a Sat. from 10a to 2:30p, which was more than enough time for a party. There were separate doors to enclose the room, so privacy from other restaurant areas was adequate. Free parking available on the grounds; however, there are tons of golfers that have been there since early morning hours. Arriving about 10:30a, we parked as far away as you could possibly imagine! Ok dis is going to be my first ever negative review on yelp. Usually this place is cherreh I have no complaints . But today , man my Negi Toro Don , absolutely depressing and underwhelming man. First off, I'm pretty confident that the lomi style "toro" was not in fact toro. I could tell it tasted just like regular ahi. I've ate chutoro and otoro lots of times at other places and I can tell you, mine was not toro. Besides that, they gave me about only half an ice-cream spoon size of their lomi toro . Like I took 2 bites n it was gone . For a 42$ bowl I expected way more and be full but nope , it was a small portion , tasted plain and am still hungry as I'm typing this . And the last part, it was on brown rice? I hate brown rice. Had I known , I wouldn't have ordered. Not sure if they was out of white rice or something but I've never gotten served brown rice at any restaurant unless I was asked and said yes. So to end, I do NOT recommend their negitoro donburi bowl at all. Not worth the price for what is given. The pork chops were flavorful and well-seasoned, though they had a bit more batter than I typically prefer. That said, the taste more than made up for it. #6 of 52 (trying a new restaurant at least once a week) We wanted to stay close to home. My sister had eaten here a few times so we decided to check it out. We went around 5pm on a Friday. It wasn't too busy so we got seated right away. I came wanting sushi so we picked a couple. My honey always likes a Spider roll ($13) so we definitely had to try that. I also ordered the Crunch roll ($16). Then because we LOVE tater tots we got the tater tot nachos ($18). Food came out in about 10 minutes. We always eat with out eyes (and phones) first. Everything looked so good! I dug into the tater tot nachos first. The tots were cooked perfectly! Nice and crispy. There are a couple sauces they put on. Pickled onions added a nice tang. I always love jalapeños and the guacamole was great. So much lime which we like. Both sushi rolls were good. A good amount of crab in the Spider roll and I loved the softness of the ahi in the Crunch roll. The service was good and our waters were refilled often. So I have a couple issues. One is that at lunch they have plate lunches but at dinner they don't offer that so all the entrées are ala carte. It was just two of us so if we ordered an entrée that's all we would have had because it's a good amount of food and would have been all we could eat. So for us the only options are sushi and pupu's. Secondly I do think the prices are too high. Yes I know, it's Hawaii, but I don't know that I think the price justifies the food. Though I will say I do think the prices of the sushi were on par with other places. We'll probably give it another try but maybe for lunch so we can try some of the plate lunches. This was my first time trying The Clubhouse. I was in the mood for quality food and I wasn't disappointed. The cut of the sashimi platter was divine. It was costly ($41 for 6 pieces); however, it was akami, chutoro and otoro that was flown in from Japan. I really liked the agedashi tofu with the different toppings and the spicy tuna roll. The crunch roll was just okay - not my favorite. And the caliente roll was also okay - not very hot. What surprised me was an oyster shooter for $8 - and the oyster was really tiny. I understand that places need to make $$, but that was overpriced for a place that is not a fine dining restaurant (just my opinion). I did like the laid back atmosphere and the music playing matched the ambiance. The server was attentive and helpful. I've seen this restaurant while going to the golf course but I know they had changed restaurant name and I don't know if management or owners changed but the food was really good for a golf course restaurant! We ordered the Korean chicken, crispy pork belly, fried calamari, the aburi roll, dragon roll, and another roll with spicy hamachi. I was very surprised how tasty the food was here! Especially sushi at a golf course! But the highlight dish has to be the crispy pork belly! Like omg...I don't know how they got it so crispy on the outside but so soft and juicy on the inside. It was probably one of the best crispy pork belly I had on island!! The sauce that went with it as well was really good!! The inside of the restaurant wasn't very fancy or anything but gave more of a very homey feel. The staff were also really nice and attentive. They don't overly check on you so you can enjoy your meal but will come and fill your water without you having to ask. Like for a small restaurant like this I am very impressed. Like some other bigger restaurants need to step up their game because this kind of service isn't always there. Overall we were very happy that we had came here for dinner. Will definitely be back to try other things on their menu as well. If you haven't tried, you definitely should give it a try while you're at the golf course. Both inside and outside seating. It's nice in the evening here. The air is just so clean. I prefer the outside area. I tried the Uni, Otoro, Nodoguro, Shima Aji, Ikura , Hamachi (nice and fatty) Everything was amazing. The Nigi Toro Donburi a huge serving of fatty minced toro on brown rice. The serving was split into two. The picture is just my half. I usually stay away from places that have a large selection and variety of cooked foods and have a side selection of sushi but was impressed on the fish quality. The sushi could have been made much better with a different rice. The wasabi was freshly grated (not spicy at all) but they use your generic soy sauce you find at times market.
