One of the best gumbos I've tasted on island.
    Billie S.

The food is actually my favorite out of any bar in this area! Very tasting high-quality and cooked exceptionally great! If I'm to be completely honest, service is great if you're sitting at the bar, sometimes there's a bit of a weight if you are sitting on the Lanai part or depending on how many workers they have. To be honest, I don't mind waiting because the food quality is so great and the bartenders are usually very attentive! The decor is awesome nice cool AC and clean environment! I've always seen their bathrooms clean! Which definitely is a plus!

Hidden gem of Mililani Mauka. Love all the beer selection and the food was so yummy too!! Excellent service and fun low key ambiance. We'll have to go back to check out their Karaoke night on Thursdays! Katsu sliders were my fave! Yum

Nice bar and restaurant in Mauka, where parking is easy and free. Service was quick and friendly! They have lots of tvs, sports, etc. Food was super good!! We ordered the fish and chips, the fries were perfect and the loco loco.

Driven past multiple times but first time eating here. Lots of beers, seltzers on tap. So many great choices. They will allow you to taste a small bit before buying a cup which is good. Ordered some apps. They ran out of sliders so made us a pulled pork sandwich/burger instead. Also got brussel sprouts which were too sweet imo but had a great crisp! Fish and chips were fried perfectly. We liked the thickness of the fries. Wings were great too. Enjoyed the honey chipotle flavor. The ahi tataki was refreshing and liked the chili crisp on top. Overall, service, food, etc were good and our group had a good time. The picnic table we sat on though was sticky and could use a refinish and good cleaning

Buffalo chicken flatbread OMG. I love this so much. But it's so hot. But I want another bite. But it's so hot.

The buffalo chicken flatbread is SO good. But it's so hot. But it's so good. But my mouth is on fire. I might need a side of bleu cheese dressing next time. Or 1/2 the sauce. But it's so good! Amazing service- very attentive even though they were busy. Love the happy hour menu! Ambiance was exactly what we wanted for watching the college football championship game! We may have to become locals here!

Went to Taps & Apps over the weekend to enjoy an early dinner while in the area. Service was friendly and it wasn't too loud despite the football games on the screens. They have a good variety of craft beers on draft, as well as canned and bottled options. I enjoyed my dragonfruit lemonade Cider from Ola while the hubby tried a pineapple sour by Lanikai and an IPA by BeerLab. We split an order of garlic fries, smash burger sliders and the green salad. There was a hefty portion of fries and they were crisped nicely on the outside, fluffy inside. Salad had a tangy balsamic dressing which complemented the sweet strawberries and candied Mac nuts. Smash burgers were alright too. Overall good place to grab a refreshing brew and some good eats.

Calamari (not consistent, compare to recent photos). Large sea salt fries (enough for 3-4 people)

Food is decent. Beer selection is always changing and they bring in seasonal brews. Service can be sparse when they're short staffed but for the most part is always on point. Be aware of where the speakers are placed, because if you get a seat next to one it can be loud. Please change one the TVs to local sports! OC16/Spectrum Sports.

Best fish and chips in the area! Zucchini fries and chicken katsu sliders plus happy hour beers also for the win Picnic table in the corner for bigger groups is honestly grimy and could stand to be re-finished, or at the very least covered but the service was good and the kitchen was pretty quick. They did also let us know when we sat, no minors after 7pm, which I do wholeheartedly appreciate as we had to opportunity to leave vs being told we had to leave if we weren't done by then

Rachel is an awesome bartender! We always experience super friendly and fast service. Excellent food and huge beer menu. Can't go wrong here.

We stopped here for dinner passing through. You can tell everyone knew everyone. We ordered drinks and dinner and the waitress was very nice and service was great. I got the smash burgers and my husband got the fish and chips. We enjoyed both and recommend this restaurant.

I have been to Taps and Apps a few times because my sister-in-law sings there at least twice a month on weekends. If the service was bad there, she wouldn't bother singing there but all the staff that I've encountered are great. Taps and Apps is a great bar located in Mililani Mauka of all places. It's a good size restaurant inside and out. Great for several large groups. And the patio is now covered. While I was there this past Saturday, it rained and we stayed nice and dry. The bar is great for watching sports. They have some board games that you can take to your table and play. But no dart or pool table. The pool table would take up too much room leaving less seats and this place can get really crowded during the weekend. And the food is AWESOME! I prefer appetizers and they have a great assortment of them with a local flare. They just added chicken katsu sliders and it was really good. I couldn't eat all of the garlic fries so I brought it home. Normally, I don't bring home fries but I didn't want this to go to waste. As I'm usually the DD, I don't drink nor do I like the taste of beer. But if you're a beer aficionado, flights are available. However, I do like a good mocktail. Unfortunately, the cocktails are flavored because of the alcohol so no mocktail for me. But I did try my first hard seltzer there, the Ola Hibiscus and it was pretty good. Went well with the sliders and fries. If you like live music, I recommend going on Fridays. There's no stage but the setup for the singer or band is on the deck. But you can still enjoy the live music while inside as the music also plays in the restaurant. There's a lot of restaurants in this shopping plaza so parking nearest Taps and Apps during dinner can be difficult. However, if you don't mind a little walk, you can park by Starbucks where there's plenty of parking in the evening. And the bathroom, nice and clean, even on busy nights. Every visit and experience at Taps and Apps has been 5-stars for me. So if you'd like to try something outside of town, just to relax, Taps and Apps is a great place just for that.

There was two small slivers of onion and no apparent mushrooms. Server returned to let me know there was mushroom paste, but it says sautéed. Even after sending back my meal there was little change. Slightly more cooked - not caramelized - onions and a smear more mushroom paste. Over all food quality and presentation is poor at best. Descriptions are lacking information or out right deceptive. Prices are high, yet the quality and value are not reflected in the product. Overall the experience was disappointing. Over priced menu items. We ordered chips with ahi dip- lots of dip and not enough chips but I'm sure if you asked for more they would acquiesce. Yummy and right flavor not too salty. Also onion rings which were large and plenty in the basket! You had choice of ranch dressing or brown mustard and we wanted to mix so she said no problem and brought them! Then we had to try the dessert flight which were three cute little prepared sweets of crème Brûlée, strawberry shortcake and a brownie with some type of custard on top. Yum! Place was clean, not too loud, and a restroom inside their place which was nice. All the servers were friendly, pleasant and made sure we had what we needed, clearing plates and glasses, keeping table clean. We really enjoyed powering up before power shopping so will return!

Food We shared the Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Bang-A-Rang Shrimp, and Eggplant Bruschetta. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Burgers: Son and I ordered the same thing- single smash burger. He got his plain, just meat and cheese. I got everything that came on it. His was fine. Mine was not. First, bun to meat ratio was outrageously bad. Smashburgers are supposed to be thin, so you gotta use a smaller bun. Double probably would have been a better call, but in this case it would have just doubled the really unpleasant taste. The whole thing was burned. The bun was burned, the burger was burned, the caramelized onions were burned. This may just have been the burned taste, but it also tasted dirty, like it came off of a nasty grill. And, yes I ate it anyway. I dont send back food. I take pictures of it half eaten and tell random strangers on the internet how bad it tasted. Service was good, beer was good, pretzel was good. Burger was so abysmally bad that I cant ever see going back here. You can clearly see looking at the bun that its burned, and they sent it out anyway. That speaks volumes about how a restaurant is run.

My first visit to this restaurant was unfortunately a very disappointing experience from the moment…read morewe walked in. My partner and I had just finished a long hike and were excited to relax, enjoy a good meal, and watch the World Cup game. When we arrived, we approached the host stand to put our name on the waitlist. Instead of being greeted with a smile or any sense of hospitality, the host, Sarah, came across as very snarky, dismissive, and unwelcoming. She informed us there would be approximately a 45-minute wait, which we completely understood and were happy to accept. While waiting, we stood near the bar area so we could watch the World Cup match. Despite standing there for around 25 minutes, not a single bartender or employee acknowledged us, offered a menu, or even greeted us. Eventually, after about 30 minutes of waiting, a table in the bar area became available. Since it was empty, we sat down, assuming it was open. Within moments, the host approached us with the same rude attitude and told us that table was being held for another party. We politely asked to speak with a manager. Rather than responding professionally, she visibly rolled her eyes before going to get one, which only reinforced how unwelcome we felt. When the manager arrived, the interaction was equally disappointing. He never asked us what had happened or tried to understand our perspective. Instead, he immediately apologized and reiterated that the table was reserved for another waiting party. We didn't want to cause a scene, so we simply moved to another available bar table. What made the situation especially frustrating was that the original table they insisted was reserved remained empty the entire time afterward. No one was ever seated there while we watched. It left us questioning why such a rigid stance was taken over a seating arrangement that appeared easily manageable. The issue was never about having to move tables. We understand restaurants get busy and that hosts have to manage seating. The problem was the complete lack of hospitality, communication, and customer service. From the host's attitude and eye-rolling to the manager's unwillingness to listen before making a decision, we felt like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. As first-time customers, first impressions matter. We arrived excited to enjoy our evening, but instead left feeling ignored, dismissed, and genuinely unwelcome. A little kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to communicate could have completely changed this experience. Unfortunately, that's not what we received.

I'm surprised how it crackles when you bite into it. Love it! I've also tried other things such as their poke nachos and burger with French fries, all tasted really good! We've been to the barbers point location and now here at this location in Mililani. I like this location better. The inside of the restaurant is so much nicer. Lots of tables and chairs to sit. Service we received today from this Asian girl, was super friendly and helpful, she came by to check on us constantly. Definitely will be repeated customers here and highly recommend.

I recently visited 604 Clubhouse and ordered the Clubhouse Saimin. Unfortunately, my meal took so…read morelong that the rest of my party received their food, finished eating, and I still hadn't been served. Because of the delay, I ended up having to get my saimin to go instead of enjoying it with everyone else. I do want to give credit to our waiter, who was attentive and apologized for the situation. However, I was disappointed that there was no compensation or effort made to make up for the inconvenience. Delays can happen, but the kitchen should have managed the preparation better, especially when one order is significantly behind the rest of the table. The customer service from the waiter was appreciated, but the overall dining experience was negatively affected by the long wait and lack of resolution.
