The super greens didn't have the sauce that they are supposed to have. Really bland dinner.

Now I wasn't expecting much from this place because it looks a bit old from the outside and no customers in sight. But my mind changed the instant that fork with the hamburger steak went into my mouth! All I thought was "wow, now this is amazing!" I don't come around this spot too often, but every time I do... I can only think of that plate, lol! So today I made the stop and guess what I got? The sad part of it was my phone was blowing up and decided to sit down and answer all the inquiries for our business. BIG mistake on my part... I spent a good hour on the seat not even opening to eat my plate Next time I'm eating first!!! My customers can wait

Portions are big. 2 katsu sub all fried noodle plates can feed 5 of us (2 adults, kids 11, 10 & 6) add on another plate and can feed the older kids at home too. Their burgers are home made, so is their hamburger steak and gravy and the gravy for the roast pork...winnah! We pretty much like everything we've tried here. The chili is different tho, def home made too but not the normal flavors I go for (kinda sweeter yet lil smoky & runnier w/more veggies than meat). Party pans we usually get katsu. Noodles. Or mix of katsu/BBQ chicken. Prices have gone up (like everywhere else) but they do give ALOT. And doesn't help that we sub plates with rice for noodles for like $4 more. The family owned diner is open most holidays, always has customers & they're really friendly. Even the guys in the kitchen smile at you. They let you post flyers on the front glass so they support their community too! I'll be a customer for life!

My family was in the area to shop over at Crafts Way and I found Fooki on Yelp as a nearby food option. It had something for everyone in our group of seven: 2 vegetarians, 1 vegan and 4 meat eaters. The restaurant had a divy vibe, cozy and welcoming. The service was very friendly and the server was incredibly knowledgable about their menu and how what made some of their dishes stand out from what's expected. The Li Hing Mui Sweet Potato Fries are a must! They totally reminded me of my childhood and the kind of fries I'd get at the amusement park back in Taiwan. Here's everything we ordered. We have been here several times before and this time we brought the whole gang. Although it was a Friday night, we came earlier than normal and were able to be seated immediately. All the tables were taken, but it wasn't too loud or crazy. Our service was great. I chose their Classic Beef Noodles which were great! The beef broth was flavorful. The beef slice was tender. The noodles were cooked well. Honestly, it was great. The portions could be a little better. So, from a cost-to-value perspective, that could be better. All in all, it was great.

There's a lot of parking in front or just down the slight hill which opens to a bigger parking lot. The dining room looked brightly lit, clean and inviting. No other customers were there & the rest of our party didn't come yet either. Our table could seat possibly 8 people but there was only 6 of us so we removed some of the chairs so everyone could sit comfortably. We ordered the following: * Char sui fried rice - nice taste with the char sui mixed within the fried rice. * Peppered beef w veggies - good taste, the veggies consisted of bell peppers and onions. * Walnut shrimp - nice shrimp pieces fully covered w the cream/sauce served w walnuts on the side. Nothing fancy; tasted like others that I've tasted before. * Oyster sauce chicken over cake noodles - wish there was better chicken pieces and more sauce for the cake noodles. I had to scrape up whatever sauce was on the serving dish to top off the cake noodles. * Pork chops - this was one of my favorites as it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. There was this green onion & jalapeño mix on it but I don't like spicy so I stayed away from the jalapeños. Crispy gau gee - it was small and it tasted ok. Have seen bigger, filled gau gee. Service - the ladies came around frequently to refill our water glasses. We were given take out boxes to bring home the leftovers. Their sweet and sour sauce was good. I spooned that over everything. Prices - seemed reasonable enough Would we return? Maybe but if we really wanted to eat Chinese food, we probably would go somewhere else. Would we recommend this place? Sure, as everyone has their own taste. I understand this is the 3rd owner and I wouldn't want them to close up because of my review. You'll just have to go & try it...select what you like to eat and see for yourself. This review is just my own opinion. Good luck to Golden Wheel.

Wong Kung Chinese Restaurant is located in a small strip mall a few doors down from the FAMOUS Elena's Filipino Foods restaurant. Wong Kung Chinese Restaurant looks a bit dated, but since I'm a fan of old skool eateries, I figured I'd give a try. Upon looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Menu for Five" which the price was listed at $99.99, and the following items were on this menu - 1. Scallop Soup 2. Mix Seafood with Vegetables 3. Fried Fish Cube 4. Char Siu Fried Rice 5. Roast Duck (1/2 order) 6. Sweet Sour Spareribs 7. Beef Broccoli 8. Sam See Mein What can I say about the grub??? Overall, most of the food items were pretty good, with the exception of the Scallop Soup which my dad & I found to be a wee bit too salty. I also found that the Roast Duck appeared to be kinda dried out. As for the rest of the menu items, it was pretty good! Some of the outstanding items were the Fried Fish Cubes, as it was nicely deep fried & although a dipping sauce was given, it was not necessarily needed. The stir-fried items like the Seafood w/Vegetables and Beef Broccoli are hard to mess up, and those dishes were good. The Sam See Mein was also delicious, and I would easily come back here for their noodles. Service here was on point, fast friendly service. When I paid for the meal, I'm not sure if they automatically added on the tip? The bill came out to $119.70 (not including tax) when on the menu, it said $99.99. To top it off, there was another 3% charge if you pay via credit card. I think the business needs to update the menu, if you're not going to stick to the prices as listed on the menu.

Jade Chinese Restaurant - Waipio's Long‑Standing Gem…read more Jade Chinese Restaurant in Waipio has been a trusted favorite in the community for years, and it's easy to see why. This is the kind of place that welcomes everyone--families, longtime locals, and hungry walk‑ins alike--with consistently good food and fast, friendly service. One of my go‑to dishes is the Honey Walnut Shrimp--perfectly crisp, lightly sweet, and always satisfying. The Soft Gau Gee Noodles with gravy are another must‑try: comforting, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a classic local-style Chinese meal. While enjoying my food, I noticed a steady flow of take‑out orders--both walk‑ins and phone orders--which says a lot about how much the community relies on Jade. They handle the rush with ease, keeping things moving without sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a place to pick up your Chinese New Year meal, Jade is an excellent choice. They've been part of the celebration for years, and their dishes bring that festive, traditional flavor we all look forward to. Kung Hee Fat Choi! Not sure if it was because there was only four couples beside us. Ordered the two choice combo with roast duck and cold ginger chicken. Chicken was nice and cold and meaty. Nice flavor to the sauce. The duck was not to meaty and little dry but, good portions. The skin was like the the kind you get in the duck with steam bun dishes. My lunch partner ordered gau gee min. Nice flavor and large gau gee. Was full on just one and some noodles. Pros: Good size portions. Lots of parking and clean. Cons: The only one that I had was the duck. Everything else was good. Would I go back? Yes, would like to give them a second chance on the duck.
